Everything is on time and the staff are friendly, patient, helpful, when trying out glasses or ordering or paying etc. The office/store is very clean. There is a small chess or tic-tac-toe set I've never used. There is a free water cooler in the back. Once I tried to use contacts here and they were patient as I fumbled for twenty minutes or so (to this day I still use glasses). It's right next to the Libertyville Metra station, which is convenient if you live in Chicago. I usually set aside 60-90 minutes for the time I'll be at the office when getting a checkup.

She was thorough with my eye exam and took the time to answer my questions. They carry a variety of brands of frames and the staff was helpful in assisting me in finding the exact frame I want. I was very happy with the service and experience. I am truly appalled by some of the low rating reviews. Eye exams and eyewear can be costly especially with add-ons and features. I don't think it's fair to give a one-star review or complain about the experience because of the cost.

With patience and a thorough examination, Dr. Pouyat was able to achieve a vast improvement in my vision using scleral contact lenses. One eye, which the ophthalmologist had declared a "lazy eye" that would never have clear vision is now as good as the better eye. I am amazed at the fantastic results!
