I had my appointment with Dr. Huynh the weekend before and it was my first time there and I absolutely love this office. Dr. Huynh and her staff Briana are so sweet, friendly , helpful and amazing. I really enjoyed the visit that was very informative and with the high technology eye exam and tests for glaucoma without any dilation. That made me so happy and the cost was so reasonable too because in the past I had paid all these extra hidden fees on top of my insurance. My contacts were ready in less than a week and everyone is just so sweet and helpful there. This will be my forever place to go to now, I can't believe I have missed out all these years! read more

I had my second eye exam done here today. I saw Dr. Tuyen Huynh. She is so nice and friendly. Last time I saw her brother and he was great too. She recommended I get an exam that see's in the back of your eye. I forgot what it is called, you don't need your eyes dilated which is obviously amazing! It is fast and so affordable! And she informed me that this exam can detect thyroid issues, a brain tumor, early stages of glaucoma of course and more. I had no idea it could detect this much. This is something we should all know about and get done every year. So yeah, they are both so nice. This is another place I would travel to if I didn't live that close because their customer service is so great and that means a lot to me! read more

Came in here to replace some frames that broke in 3 weeks from my Dr's office. Was hoping they had the same shape as my lenses. Diana and I looked through everything but couldn't find the exact shape. Even though she helped customers in between she was very patient trying to help me. They have a nice selection of frames. Designer ones too. Guess I'll have to go back to the valley to get the exact ones I had which is a bummer. read more

Dr. Huynh is the best! She's so kind and she tells you how it is when it comes to your eyes. I got my eye check up with her a few months ago and we discussed my worsening astigmatism, she gave me helpful hints I hadn't even thought about like to stop reading while laying on my side!! (Aka something I do every night before bed and every morning when I wake up) Then over the weekend she saw my aunt on Saturday and gave her helpful recommendations for dry eye that would be cheaper than her Xiidra from a different doc. Then on Monday, my aunt had scratched her cornea some how, Dr. huynh was able to squeeze us in same day and my aunt was able to walk out of there with a prescription and peace of mind. First time here, took about 2 hours to get glasses, they were understaffed and had one person working around holiday season with at least 6 people waiting. He stopped helping us and helped 2 others which made us wait an additional 35 minutes. Was told glasses would be on 7-10 days took more like 14-16 days. Came to pick up and the lady was super rude. In addition they do not offer decent prices glasses only designer. Will not be coming here again. read more

This store needs an overhaul. Not sure they could have done anything worse. Dropped off two frames for new lenses. Had prescription from another doctor. Went to Target because I received some gift cards. Big Mistake. 1 month after dropping (suppose to take 2 weeks) I have heard nothing. I call 3 times. 3 times I get let me call you back. No one did. 6 weeks after dropping I go to store only to find out they have lost one of my frames. And the other frame was returned with no prescription. 2 weeks later get the frame they had with correct prescription. Positive - they did provide new frame for pair lost. Sent in - 2 weeks later called to come get. I arrive to find wrong prescription in frame. 2 weeks later they finally get correct. 3 months and 3 days to replace lenses in 2 frames for $275.00 Not ever did I receive an apology for taking so long. I even contacted Target Optical corporate for support. never heard a word from them. Buyer beware. I am happy with what I received so far. Just should not take 3 months to do. Customer service is non-existent. read more

Ken Kristiansen doesn't know what he's doing, he is very unorganized. I went in to buy contacts, first he tried to charge me for a year supply without authorization from me. Then he orders 6 months and has it shipped to my place of residence and he said it will arrive in a week. They never showed up, I called to see what was going on and he pushed me off and said he'll call me back. He never did. Then I call him again, his excuse was, "as you know I am very busy." How could I have known. He then told me to do his job and track down the order myself. I'm just being honest when I say I will never go back to Ken. Ken is a scam artist and fraudulently charges insurance companies and the customer doesn't get their product. I am extremely unhappy with Ken Kristiansen's customer service read more

Sucks I have to give a one star I liked coming here until. Well went in for an eye exam cost me 80 bucks I have VSP and they cover everything all I should have paid is my $10.00 copay but no. The doctor said my insurance didn't cover it and I showed her a copy of what they cover she argued with me I said whatever and paid, she didn't even go through my insurance!!!!!! Onto the glasses experience, the First Lady was trying to totally rip me off told me my glasses were going to cost 300 dollars after insurance I told her that wasn't possible cause they cover 170.00 on the frames and 50 on the lenses! Then I wanted contacts a year supply was another 300 after insurance! Wtf low and behold I told them forget it went to Costco they used my insurance cost me 99.00 for year supply of contacts and 200 for my glasses!! Target optical get your shit together and maybe possible educate your staff on customer service and giving and retrieving proper information so you don't rip people off!! read more

Doctor are very personable and professional. But if you think they take walk-ins, don't bother. Also, just because they say that department is open...does not mean the Dr is in. If you need something that the doctor has to look up you will have to come on a day the dr is physically there, and these hours are not correctly reported on yelp or their website. The employee that is in attendance cannot look any records up. I called yesterday to see if they were open and they said they were. Drove to the other end of the valley and was told that they could not look up and order contact script because only the doctor can do that. Went in next day and it was complete and total kaos. I sat there about an hour....maybe more, maybe less. Tried to relax and play a video game but a family of 4 and all their friends (6 ppl) were trying to place an order...kids were running around, throwing things...a lady walked in to have her glasses adjusted and she was helped before me...and then I realized I was going to be late for work. I never realized I'd need to block out 1/2 an afternoon to order an existing prescription for contacts. I was told I could not do it over the phone if I wanted to use my 5% Red card so...that's why I went in. I never got to place the order...and I wasted hours over 2 days. You get what you pay for and this place is a zoo. If you are open for business... be able to do business. If you can't do business transactions....close shop! So incredibly frustrated! read more

One of the best optometrist I have ever visited. Dr. Huynh was very informative on teaching me on how to take care of my vision and how to use contacts for the first time. She is welling to help and take her time on answering any questions you may have. The optical office is very clean and organized, including all the equipments are brand new. Candice is super helpful and had always gone out of her way to assist me with my eyewear needs. Candice is very informative regarding my insurance coverage. Candice had informed/offered me a prescription-eyewear-package/all inclusive that does not break the bank. Candice is very thorough, detailed, and ensures that she inputs the precise eyewear-information in the computer; after all, everyone's precious vision/eye health is a serious business. Because of all those, I keep coming back to this location. I purchased my multiple eyewear gears from Candice in the past 6 months alone. I feel special when Candice is in. Unlike others, Candice treats me like a friend, not a customer. As long as Candice is there, I will continue to give Target Optical my business. Ordered 2 pair of Oakley glasses 2 weeks ago and was happy with the service. When I picked up today, Lloyd helped me and was extremely helpful. There was a slight problem with one pair and he took the time to figure out what happened and correct the issue. He did not give up until he figured it out. I left with both pair of glasses. One of the worst around. I've used Target before at another locations but this one is the worst. Promises to call back and doesn't. My frames kept breaking at the lab so I asked "should I pick out another frame?" "Oh no! we've never seen a problem like this. We will go to another lab" I called AGAIN and AGAIN and got the same answers. After 18 days (was promised my new glasses in 5 days) I asked for a refund and a copy of my prescription to take somewhere else. Was told I would get a call the next day when ready to get my email information.. Did I get a call???? NO! Was told "Oh I have it here, we don't email copies" The Doctor was great but the staff.......... well go somewhere else! I went to another doctor and got glasses for 1/2 the price Target was asking. Target didn't use my insurance even though I asked about it. they said " their" program was better! Horrible customer service. read more
