In 2021 it took this business 10 months to get my eyeglasses yes TEN months!! It also took that long for them to get my mother's eyeglasses as well!!! We had numerous problems, mistakes and just plain incompetency. I finally got my glasses in October 2021 - there was a discussion about a monetary discount and Dr. Wren wound up offering me 50% off of future lenses. We visited this year (12/2022) & inquired about my 'compensation' only to find out that it expired a month after it was given; November 2021. I certainly wasn't going to need glasses in one month! Therefore I asked if we could use the discount for this visit/year & reluctantly he finally agreed (this was all over the phone via the manager, he was not in that day) however it turned out that our insurance doesn't allow us to get lenses without frames plus it was cheaper through the insurance vs. his discount. Therefore I later emailed the Dr./owner explaining what the circumstances were with not being able to use the discount and reiterated what we went through in 2021. I had asked if he could compensate us in a different manner, perhaps discount our bill from the new eyeglasses my husband & I just bought during this visit. A few days later we received an email stating that "due to their inability to satisfy us" they were refunding our money in full and he wouldn't provide services to us in the future. Whaaaaat?? So we go through TEN months of waiting for eyewear with the utmost patience & at least two dozen trips back & forth and this is how the owner responds??? Unbelievable!! We are truly baffled!! So, in conclusion if you do not want to wait months on end for your eyewear and you do not want to be treated in this manner by the owner I suggest you find somewhere else to go! I gladly will take my money and business elsewhere. *Notice how 'pleasant' Dr. Wren is in his response!! In fact look at how vial he is in all of his responses to the complaints! In addition these are the 'facts' and they did NOT discount anything last year (we still have our receipt) what an outright blatant lie! WOW!! Update: 1/13/23 we went to Vista eye care in Thornton and they were AMAZING!! I got my eye glasses perfectly made on the first try!! This should be the norm! The owner is great and Ally is the BEST! Other eye care providers had suggested for 15 years that anti-glare coating would reduce the halo effect around headlights coming at me at night. The coating never improved the headlight glare. Dr. Roffis told me that only anti-reflective coating will help this situation. I feel I am in great hands with Dr. Roffis and his whole team is friendly and highly responsive to questions over the phone and in the office.

There are as I read the reviews, different locations. Can't say with all of the years we have been going, that I've seen or experience some of comments others have had. There are certainly many places to have exams and such done, and if we experience what some of the folks have experienced, we would of gone elsewhere. But we haven't, and now almost 25 years from when we first went there, I and my wife will continue to go to the Broomfield Colorado Eye Center.
