All target stores are great, and this one is no exception. I like it, especially because their staff is very friendly and diligent. Every time I visit, I see them busy taking inventory, organizing merchandise, and helping customers. I love their grocery departments, I found some really nice deal there. Clothing, cosmetics, houseware, they have everything, and mostly with great prices. This target is also close to many other stores, Ross is right next door. Stopped into Target today for some health and hygiene essentials. The store was quite busy and the inventory plentiful. I found all of the items on my list and check out was a breeze. STEER CLEAR OF THIS TARGET! Very Poorly Managed, don't value their customers time and completely incompetent when it comes to a major merchandise drop event. Today we came for the big Pokémon release. Customer service stated that they start the line for the lottery system to buy product at 3pm. So we wait, 3pm comes and goes. While waiting I observe a young male worker who is grabbing the curbside deliveries. He is trying to carry and push more than a dozen small packages for curbside. I watch him drop some customers order and their 2 multipaks of yogurt fall from several feet and hit the ground. I'm sure they were damaged but he just scoops them off the ground, back into the bag and continues on. Doesn't even check them to make sure the product hasn't been damaged ir attempt to replace them, clearly doeant care. We ask if we need to go inside at 3 for the que or if someone will come to us. He says he's not sure but he thinks they come out to us. 330pm finally rolls around and the ONE person who has been allocated to handle the massive Pokémon drop comes out with her "lottery box". She makes it clear that only she will be helping with the drop despite the massive line and that she will be taking a long time. I'm 3rd in line to draw a number, they tell us to move to a specific spot and scoot over, then she walks down to the end of the line and takes x amount of time or more to guesstimate how many guests are there. She explains we pull a number and that's our spot in line. But wait it gets better. After we get our number then we have to re line up in that order and wait to join the actual line (online que system). My bf pulls 52, I pull 125. So now I'll need to wait not only for her to allow a few hundred people lined up to take a number but then for her to enter 124 people manually into a handheld device (that are ahead of me thanks to the lottery) to manually enter a phone number and name for the actual que. 125 is pretty devastating but the numbers went from 1-250 so could be worse right? Oh wait but then there's more. After she's handed out all the ones she has, apparently she needs more so she gets ANOTHER SET of 1-250 but these ones are laminated on white paper instead of yellow. So whoever is in the second que should be behind the first right? Wrong. Now if someone pulls my same number they are right behind me and this applies to every number pulled. So even though someone had already pulled number one, a second number one is possible and then they would be number 2. Effectively reducing my number from 125 to potentially 250. Further, even though she stated only one number drawn per person. Multiple people and families have pulled multiple numbers anyway. Also neglecting to let people know that only one number should be associated with one phone number. The result is literal HOURS AND HOURS just to get into the virtual que to MAYBE buy product (Pokémon cards) utter Chaos, confusion and dissatisfaction...families torn apart by numbers, people's hopes dashed in an instant and no real indication of how much product is actually available or even if enough for the numbers handed out. Why did they continue to make the que unfairly longer when they didn't even have enough product on hand for those who first arrived? It's now 840pm. Even my parties "lower" number of 52 still hasn't been called and there's nothing left but a few tins and blister packs. Completely disrespectful of customers time and blatantly mishandled and incompetent. NEVER EVER would I return to this store again and it's very clear with how I observed even the lowest tier of personal handle products already paid for by a customer.... good luck to the person who's Greek yogurt fell all over the ground and was just scooped back into a bag like nothing happened, that this store does not care about their customers, their time or their purchases. Further they wasted hundreds of people's and families time and quite frankly treated Pokémon fans like we were putrid animals undeserving of respect or the smallest allocation of staffing or logical forethought to make things run smoother. I heard multiple families complain when the second set of lottery numbers were handed out effectively unfairly diluted the line that was already too Massive and the response was well that's what my manager said to do. A lady asked who the name was, I believe she said "Danielle" and when asked for a last name said they were not at liberty to say. F- Final notes. It's 9pm, they only allocated one cashier at a snails pace to handle the virtual que and they only made it up to 52 before stopping at 9. They also allowed initial people through the que to buy 2x ea. My bf got one mini tin and a blister pack. I got nothing, my number was never even called despite the whole ordeal taking over 6 hours. I would encourage corporate to look seriously into the matter, consider allocating the product to another store. I feel sorry for all the disappointmented children. read more

This Target feels like a hangout spot for local kids. Because of that, it often feels unnecessarily crowded, messy, and loud. If you're coming in to just quickly pick something up, this might not be the location for you. And if you need to roam the entire store, just be aware that you might be running in to groups of people just hanging out in aisles or walkways without any intention of moving for you & your cart. With that said, selection of products is good. I've never not found what I needed here. Parking is also really good. This location is in a large shopping center with ample spots. You might need to park a bit further than you'd like during busy shopping seasons, but that's not a Target specific issue. So if you're able to do your shopping during the week when kids would be in school, this is an excellent Target to chose. Might be my go to in the area if you ask me. After school or on weekend? I have always loved this Target location, but I felt compelled to leave this review because of my experience with a woman at the checkout. I greeted her twice, but she did not respond, which I thought was no big deal--maybe she was just having a rough day. I noticed that she was just putting my stuff at the end without bagging them, so I started bagging them myself. But I struggled to finish because I'm still recovering from a recent hand procedure. I asked her if she could please help me bag the remaining items, which were just a few small food items & toiletries, fewer than 8. She told me she can't because she has a back problem. I can understand her reasoning, but it's disappointing she didn't communicate this earlier or seek alternative help. I even asked if anyone else can maybe help. But she just stood there! The lack of basic customer service was unexpected, especially since the younger staff I've encountered before have been much more attentive. read more

My friend and I needed to quickly pick up something the evening of 1/9/26 it was a planned quick in an out trip. It was 9:45pm the store closes at 10pm. When we arrived the entrance doors were locked and barricaded off already. We were able to enter through the exit doors, but as we did the employee who had barricaded the entrance doors 15 minutes before closing, started screaming at us the store closes in 15 minutes. We knew that, we all knew we had a quick in and out item to get. We should have been able to enter through the entrance and not get screamed at 15 mins before closing. read more

The service here is actually the worst. I went into electronics hoping to find someone to help me with questions about a phone. I waited at least 20-25 min before a worker came over. Then she took off to check something for me and didn't come back. Now I've waited about 30 minutes total. I finally found the manager of electronics. He told me that this location doesn't activate phone service. I showed him the sale sticker he put on the product that says they do. He said he doesn't have answers as to why they say they activate in that store when they don't. He said he would be willing to honor the activation price anyway for me but then couldn't figure out how to ring it up. He said there's nothing he can do. That took prob 10 more min. I left the store after about an hour of what I just described with nothing. The manager wasn't there.I called the next day to talk to him and no one picked up the phone all day long. I called the 800 number and filled a complaint and a few weeks passed and no one reached out to me. I called back to the 800 to check on the case number and they said someone would reach out but "they don't have to". Hello! Last week a male who looked about 16-19 who brought out my drive-up order was horribly rude. He mumbled under his breath, "Shut the f**k up." Simply after me asking if any of the items were damaged after dropping my order that I could see from a far however he did not notice that I saw him. Because of the distance I was from him, he thought no one was watching. With that said I always get cancelled on, constantly have wrong items. I ordered a Dog Food but got Cat Food. If anyone knows who the male was who cussed my family out, please let me know! Horrible customer service. When I go inside (rarely) the times I have asked for help the employes run away, walk fast etc. Aside from that, the boys who work at drive up smoke and get high outside. What kind of example is this? I have complained multiple times about this issue and all I get as a response is that they will talk to them. SMOKING!? That is why they take so long. Even when I go inside the men at the registers are extremely rude, creepy, do not greet me or my children. They have children working the front lanes who do not know what they're doing! Where do I even start, last week my husband went, and he had told me so many horrible things that I didn't even believe him. I decided to go take a visit to see if he was telling the truth and he was right about every remark he had. The man I had at the register had no idea what he was doing and he even asked me how many quarters make up two dollars and a half. How unprofessional is that! Reconsider who you guys hire. This is bullshit. The drive-up men are rude to me, I constantly see the fulfillment team taking things out of my Target cart and adding it into their two-tier cart! I don't know if it's a policy to do when they cannot find something, but it is unprofessional. I would ask them to show me where a product is, and they would lead me to a completely different aisle. This is one of my favorite Targets to shop around, the one down side about this place is not even target but the area it's self are the kids and teens/older teens that tend to either mess around with products or even leaving the trash as they "walk around". The sad part is that these kids are a reflection of their parents and it's sad to see the level of disrespect that these kids/teens go about themselves to not only the workers but other shoppers. This Target has gone downhill fast. I get the shortage in things but this Target is the least stocked out of all other Targets in the area. In addition, they seem like they're ALWAYS so short staffed. I've had orders placed for pick up that literally take 6+ hours to be put together for less than 10 items. Not only that but picking them up they keep you waiting without a fail a good 5-10 minutes. On a random Monday night 8:30pm waiting 10 minutes in my car and still had to go inside and wait another 5 minutes inside while they tried to get my order to me that was supposed to be ready. The store is a mess! like disgusting. Empty food and drink packages are in the makeup aisle, and there's rubber bands on products on the shelves?? And huge trailers of boxes in the way so you literally cannot shop??? Also, came in for a Too Faced foundation that I saw they had at this location and the girls in Ulta were so rude and nasty, especially the girl who wears glasses and dark hair, she glared at me but didn't offer to help or even acknowledge me when I walked up to her and another girl who was standing chatting. I asked for help & the two girls just stood there talking and ignored me and I heard them talking about "annoying guests" I guess that was about me cause I asked for their help and opinions on a product and they just shrugged and said "I don't really know" and continued to talk to each other. Overall this target location is great! It's great location, staff is good, feel safe there during Covid, and plenty of self check out registers . Never have to wait long. But I highly suggest going early weekday mornings, otherwise it gets super busy !! But they seem to always be out of baby food! Every time I order it for pick up I get a notification that one or more is my items (baby food) is out of stock. The drive up needs some improvement. I get it, it's busy and hard times but it's been 9 months of Covid and we should have a better service by now. Sometimes I have to wait 25 min at drive up pick up. read more

First of all, THANK YOU for being open this whole time since the pandemic started!!! This target store has been such a life saver, specially during this difficult times. I live really close to the store, walking distance, so I'm here once a week, mostly on the weekend. Completing my grocery list items and my wife likes to walk around the store to see what's new!!! She always finds something . Same as my daughter!!! So far I have not had any bad experiences at this particular store, everyone wears a mask (Employees and customers) and it is being enforced, still following all safety guidelines given!! Thank you for making this a safer environment for us customers and for your employees. Only reason I give it a 4 stars, it's because the bathrooms can use a little bit more attention, that's all. Parking is plenty even when busy on the weekends. Store is clean and well kept. Cashiers are friendly, same goes for the security specialist that most of the time is right at the entrance as soon as you come in. My wife and I, since we come at least once a week, the security guys already knows us !!! Great people working here. Also, there are always some type of offers and discounts through out the store plus using our red card and cart wheel app always works, and my favorite thing are the discounts on my Red Bulls!! read more

I have been coming to this Target for many years. I never found any problems until it came to their online curbside pickup. Every time I order produce or dairy, I always run into problems. Either expired milk, eggs, food or mold on the food I've ordered. I told myself a couple weeks ago that I would stop ordering through their curbside because of these problems but I've been very busy with work and school that I had no choice but to do another online order. This time, my strawberries were very moldy. There's a lack of care when it comes to getting our orders ready. It would be different if this was the first time it's happened, but it's not. I'm not too crazy about this Target. First and foremost, their customer service/returns/order pickup are all in the same counter which makes it UNORGANIZED. Secondly, I drove from Temecula on Christmas Eve bc their online system said that they had 1 more Fair Isles Pajama. NAW BRAH.... THEY LIED!!!! Drove there for nothing. I physically got out of the car to walk around and see if they had the PJs on the floor and couldn't find them. Then I get an email saying that my item was no longer available. Then I check again online and it showed that they had another Fair Isles Pajama set and placed an order for it. Just trying my luck bc I was desperate to get these PJs... I go to the counter and they tell me that order wont be processed for another 4 hours. Ok, ok.... so their system needs to improve. Like say I placed an order, someone else physically grabs what I ordered before an associate could get it and pack it up for me.... how about a REAL TIME ERP system put in place so that if or when an item has already been purchased after I attempt to purchase it, it emails as not available anymore as soon as the customer physically pays for it!?!?!? I mean, spending 3 hours round trip was a big waste of time people!! Very inaccurate inventory management system!!! THAT needs to improve big time!! I'm giving it a 4 and this is being generous- the 4 will be for cleanliness- staff - home area - clothes prices for kids and t-shirts etc . If I need groceries, I don't shop here only while shopping here can I say I will grab some bananas or bread - but it I want lactose free milk 1% - they will be out - skinny cow IC sandwiches- I never buy but wanted some - OUT - the variety of Dairy items are not good always low . Paper and cleaning of any kind - floor - soaps - bags - TP etc not good always sparse - Covid no help there - lack of workers - no help there but - other areas of the store look great 10-10 but not many - kitchen areas - dinner ware is very low but it's bad everywhere - I am just not happy with the food and soap areas today . I know other stores full shelves of food & soaps etc so I only see this in Target and one other big brand store it's sad times . read more

While I don't mind this Target for it's convenience, the one outstanding issue I have noticed for the past 6 months is all the expired food on the shelves. I try and check for it when I am there since it's an ongoing problem, but always end up with one expired item by the time I get home. This morning I returned an unopened expired guacamole only to dig through all of what they had on the shelf to find one not that was not expired. There have been many times I have handed multiple condiments to employees that are sometimes up to 5 months expired only to find more put out next time I come in. I think the issue is a lot of the time I see younger employees stocking shelves and they just put the items on the shelves and shove all the older stock towards the back and not checking and pulling expired stock off. They should treat this like a supermarket or any other food business. Most places get shut down for this issue. read more

Even though the email says my order is ready to be picked up, we still ended up waiting for a good 45 minutes, because apparently they couldn't locate our order... The store is fairly clean and well stocked however, the employees were not interested in customer service sadly. When asked about their policy on bathrooms, Grown men are still allowed into the same women's room as my daughters at their will. All those years living in Hawaii on Oahu, we were only fortunate to have a local Target to shop at our last three years there. To top it off it was always at least a fifteen to twenty minute drive to get there. So when we bought our home in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, we were thrilled to see our local Target just five minutes down the road from us. We have always been big fans of Target. Yes, they carry everything that Walmart has, but the quality of their products and the brands they carry are usually better. So with these wonderful brand name products and better quality items comes a higher price tag, which we are completely fine with. You get what you pay for right? Along with Walmart's cheaper prices come icky thrifty shoppers and some riffraff that really lessen the whole atmosphere and experience of shopping. Like I always say, Walmart can bring out the worst people along with the worst of people. They carry all of the usual Target goodness and always seem to be stocked and organized pretty well. You can always count on going home with much more than you had originally intended walking in, even if you came prepared with a list. There are just so many different departments you can just get lost in. They may not be the cheapest store in town, but you can definitely say that we are proudly a Target household. read more

I shopped at the Target Store on 30602 Santa Margarita Pkwy in Rancho Santa Margarita. That Target Store was very busy. The store was clean enough for a busy day. I looked at the belts, but I still could not find what I wanted. I also looked for socks but, they were not the large size I wanted. I should ask Big Foot were he buys his! I have shopped at that Target with my wife Diana a few times before. Since I bought a mini digital camera I needed to buy a 32 MG flash card. The cashier was nice and friendly. The issue is Target the corporation who insists on wasting everyone's time by not just giving you the best price at the register. No, you have to scan all of your items in your target circle app so that your cashier can scan your items AGAIN and maybe you'll get a discount. This is my experience and I think this practice does not respect my time or me as the customer. This is my local Target.. and I'm proud to say they have a decent amount of self check outs! I love self check out, especially if you're just buying an item or two (a rarity, as I always end up leaving with a full trolley!) -- and don't want to get stuck in a long line. Since it's so "corporate," this Target is like any other -- fairly standard layout and selection of products. Big parking lot, easy access -- no complaints. The customer service was very poorly. We drove 30 miles from another Target, which we called asking if they had their registry service was available. Upon speaking to management, the manager confirm the registry was available and working. Once we arrived to the store, we lost another 1 hour trying to figure out how to operate their registry devices. Managers were not aware of how to operate their registry devices. To top it off the manager Kenney F, decided to yelled at my pregnant wife and took his frustration on us. Very unprofessional and disrespectful towards a customer, who is register and was going to bring in revenue!!!! read more
