Nobody seems happy to work here. Older ladies ate always rude and know it all. Starbucks staff are first nice then bad custimer service. Went in today with my daughter lady talking about how cute she is and wanted to take her home. When I ordered she acted like I wanted something free and tried to charge me for everything the other starbucks don't even charge for. Like splash of almondmilk and only 2 pumps of syrup . Told her the others don't charge and she talked about other customers wanting this and that when they're really getting a latte and don't want to pay for it. LIKE really? Went to this location today because I needed school supplies that I can't find anywhere else. 1) Customer Service line for returns have more than 5 customers with just one cashier. Cashier asked "person in charged" for help and she said thats she'll send someone to help her but by the time helped came she was done with everyone. I would know because I was the last person she helped. 2) between 3pm-3:40pm, I did Self Checkout to pay. I was using a tarfet gift card to pay and it was taking awhile for the screen to load. I saw that same "person in charged" (she was petite blonde chick) and asked for help because I've been waiting for awhile. She saw me paying with a gift card. She assumed I just bought the gift card and looked at me like an idiot. Told her No! And she just walked away. If I needed anymore of her help I would asked her. Just the way she spoke to me was uncalled for. Even my husband was irritated by her attitude. Too bad I didn't catch her name. There was so many supervisor/manager walking around talking. They see there's a long line but they don't help out the other employees. They have a poor system here. If it wasn't for the items that I need, I wouldn't be here. read more

Larger doesn't mean better. That's how I feel about this place. There seem to be more employees chatting every corner than willing to help customers. When you ask for it, some are not very friendly. Customer Service is about the same. They could talk to each other while helping customers - like it's always a party time there, making you wait longer. I think I'd be better off going to other stores nearby. read more

This really is my home away from home. I'm here all the time! I'm sure all the cashiers in the main store and at Starbucks know my face. The pharmacy ladies know my name. I love that it's exactly like the Coleman location, except that it's on my way home and I'm able to stop by once, twice or thrice a day. I don't think I've had a bad experience here, yet. They rang up an extra soda carton the other night, but that was quickly resolved at Customer Service. The market area is usually well-stocked, but I have been there a few times when there was only one cucumber left. It's not as packed as other Targets (*knock on wood*), but I'm not complaining. Parking lot is a bit odd, so you should park on the side near the entrance if you value your life. If you love holiday clearance stuff, then come here a week after the event. Ok Pros: Clean & not as busy as other Target stores... Cons: I asked a store rep for a floor lamp of they had it in stock, he said no. I wanted a jogger, he said they don't carry it anymore, yet its still on display... ok (mind you this is all coincidence in one bloody night), then I inquire about a blender, which the tag label was for a vacuum cleaner... the stock code was in the wrong slot.. blender no where to be found, not in back and the display blender was discontinued... hmmm... Great clean store, stock guys have no clue about their items, and they have display items which are not currently sold in their stores.. I think i'm being generous with my stars here... read more

Does love at first sight exist? Indeed it does. Ever since I laid my eyes on the Target store, I was sprung. When they decided to open the 10th San Jose store down the street from me, I was so excited. I told my boyfriend about it, but he didn't understand what the big deal was. HELLO?! I could wander around "Tarjay" all day!!! I went there yesterday afternoon and although it was packed, there was plenty of parking. AWESOME! There is a pharmacy, photo center, a café, and a Starbucks! This Target also has fresh produce, so I could go here and basically get everything I need. They also carried my favorite Loreal eyeliner that I haven't been able to find anywhere in months!!! Of course I walked in needing nothing, but I left with $150 worth of stuff. You know, important stuff like eyeliner, an eyelash curler, a tie-out and treats for my dog, a clock, and a big picture frame. HAHA I love how this Target is so easy to get to, it's literally right off of 237. To top it off, they will also be opening a bank, shops, restaurants and possibly a midsized grocery store in the same development soon! Now they just need to open a gas station... read more

I absolutely love Target and this location is nice and new. It's conveniently placed right along the 237 Freeway for any quick trips before going to work or heading home for the day. I love going to this area because there's a nice food court just across the street from this Target making this a fantastic place to grab lunch and do your shopping errands for the day all in one location. All of the cashiers that I've encountered have been really nice and friendly. read more

This Target doesn't have a Pharmacy. Most times, there is a person who pushes a wheel chair to the front door and sits on it as they wait aside a money collection box. This, even with the strict "policy" Target holds against solicitation. I came to Target to buy soap, TP, toothpaste, soda, maybe a clearnaced XBOX game, a DVD, and a random T-Shirt. I didn't come here to give money away. Please get rid of that guy, or the sign you have out front is a lie. read more

Came to target to pick up merchandise that their own web site has it on sale. In store price was almost double. Was told by store manager that price match can be done on one item, per customer, per day. I'm my opinion, if I can order online and pick up in that store, I should be able to get same price in the store ... without ordering online. So I end up ordering items online in front of them .... waiting for an hour around the store and walking back in to pick it up. That is complete disrespect for customer time read more

Gigantor Target in the part of San Jose that still has a lot of land. Always a large selection of almost anything you could need for home. I actually stumbled on some good deals for some blue ray movies. I dont get to the theater nearly as much as I used to so catching flicks for cheap on other avenues works quite well. I lOVE this Target. This Target is complete with the fresh food/groceries section. Has a huge selection of Hello Kitty. Their beauty section is always well stocked as opposed to the Cupertino location which has aisles and aisles of empty shelves. There's a Starbucks and food cafe but not the full-blown Pizza Hut/Taco Bell. They also have the new fancy shopping carts that never get the bent wheels. One drawback is that the automotive section is tiny. read more

I haven been to this Target a few times to buy bread and maybe Toys for last minute birthday gift. I am giving them 4 stars for Toy discount prices and you cannot beat them when they have discount. I don't buy any adult clothing from Target but they are great for kids. The Oroweat bread when it is on sale is only $2.99 is much cheaper than SafeWay (not sure about Costco) but they run out so fast. My only complain is that the check-out line is long and they take a while to get more cashier. If I have 1 item, I skip this Target and just drive to Safeway and pay more to use self-check out counter. I don't like standing in line for 20 minutes for item. On weekend, the line is so long that it looks like Walmart. I I hope the manager read Yelp review and do something. I am giving them 4-stars because it is San Jose and they stop giving away plastics bags. read more

This is an AWESOME TARGET! Everything is so clean and organized, obviously because it's a new location, but I love it. I love that they have a starbucks inside and the new fancy carts. They have plenty of parking and it's well kept. This target is really similar to the one in Watsonville if any of you have been there hahaha. They have everything from clothes to fresh produce to dollar bins. There were plenty of employees to help me out and I didn't have to wait in a ridiculous line, so I was very thankful. This Target is one of the best ones I've been to because it has a great food selection and is always very clean. I lived nearby and so I could ride my bike here in a matter of minutes. I wish there was a bike rack (unless I didn't find it). Anyhoo, I usually did some light food shopping since there are no other grocery stores nearby except at Rivermark. Checkout lines went quickly, and the Starbucks near the exit tempted me often. A cool frappucino after buying Eggo waffles, sounds like a good start to the day right? lol... read more

This hidden Target in the area is a true gem for providing clean and organized items without the large crowds hovering around. The parking structure is huge and the amenities and nearby eateries provide an incentive to shop here. Pros Atmosphere: The place is really clean and organized. The items on the isle isn't scattered everywhere and beautifully decorated. Parking: The parking area is huge so there is not need to struggle to find parking and because its so hidden that not many people visit this particular Target so they're isn't much difficulty finding parking. Less crowded: There is virtually no crowd at all. Barely anyone knows about this place which is great for those trying to avoid the large lines and packed crowds at other Target Locations. Location: Although its hidden its in a great location. Surrounded by other commercial eateries so you can grab a bite across the street. Amenities: There is a Starbucks inside and they have a fresh produce isle also so to get your grub on. Overall, Target near Holger is a great hidden gem in the area. Come by if your sick of long crowds and difficulty finding products. You won't be disappointed. read more

Store manager Rebecca and employee Valerie can not be representatives of service people at target because they carry a negative attitude towards work and provided "racist" service. I believe target is still a good company and trying hard to prove they can provide good service but this location is not the right one to go. We bought a tv and found out they lowered the price both in store and online. We are within 14day policy and fit their policy completely, Valerie rejected to do the price match and we noticed most of the customers in front of us she turned them down too. Maybe they don't feel like doing so today. Rebecca is more of a different case. As a store manager, she not only mentioned "different store do it differently, " but also literally mentioned "whatever I decided is based on my mood of the day". Seriously? I thought target is a publicly traded company and should be based on their policy. At the end we went to the location at sunnyvale and did the price match with no problem. Rebecca, you are giving a wrong model to the employees you lead. And Valerie, if u do not like this job you can stay away from customer service, or please correct your attitude and follow target's policy. This is not a kindergarten and you can decide which customer can return while others cannot based on who you like. We are loyal target customers for years and will still be. But we will not seek for customer service at this location because there is none. read more

This is my 2nd time passing through this Target on my way out of the City, but I've experienced better service at other Target location x1000. FYI: I didn't realize that I had to bring my own bags. lol I didn't see any plastic bags laying around like I did the first time last summer so I decided that I will place my items in one of their paper bags, which were laying around in bulks. I took one and the Asian lady didn't say anything at first until she turned around and seen me bagging my stuff. Asian lady:, "Did you bring your own bag?" Me: "Do you guys have plastic bags?" Asian lady: *She gave me this look that went something like this* o_0 Asian lady was like: "Paper bag cost $0.10 per bag." I generally love Target, especially for groceries, toiletries and household items. This is one of the best Targets in the Bay Area. I prefer to shop at the Target in San Mateo Bridgepointe, Sunnyvale or this one because they have larger selections, are cleaner and better organized, have better staff, I am not afraid my car will get broken into because the customers are not as sketchy as they are at the Redwood City location, and they have a full grocery section unlike the shabby Mountain View location. The entire shopping center is brand new. The ceilings are high, the store is bright and clean, and the large shopping center it is in is great! It's proximity to highway 237 is convenient, as I really only come here when I am passing by on my way back from elsewhere. The employees are okay. read more

Worst customer service ever!!! I came here to buy some small stuff at 9:30pm tonight (sunday). The cashier who rang up my stuff is Janessa. The total was $17, so I handed over a $25 gift card to pay for it. She scanned the card and immediately threw it to trash. Then i was told the balance is $6. WHAT???? I was shocked because I added them up myself several times and the total must be under $20. I repeatedly asked her to verify her system and later she did. What happen is that she scanned some items which i didn't buy. Without an apology, she corrected it on her screen, then bend down and digged up my gift card from the trash can, scanned it and handed it back to me along with the receipt. Without an apology, without eye contact, and without saying "thank you for shopping at target". What kind of customer service is that???? This cashier definitely needs some training! read more

Today's super late lunch story. So I had a doctors appointment that ranover by an hour. Oh my. I am terrified of yelping my doctor, lets leave it at that. As I drove back to work I thought I should grab a late lunch, perfect day for a salad. They were sold out, the lady at the counter asked How can I help you? I said " The fridge is out of salads and thats what I was in the mood for, thank you." She then said which one did you want? I said Chicken Cesar she then asked can you give me 4 minutes to throw things together I said absolutely. I bet I was smiling ear to ear. So chicken ceaser a side of carrots & ranch, 2 mozerella sticks $7.02. Great service, she made my salad :) Yay! I get to have lunch. Other neighbor hood news I saw two signs on my way out of target. They are opening a Panda Express and Chipotle restaurants across from Target. Yay! Im so excited. New restaurants = more jobs :) Target stores are great! read more

This rating is in comparison to Targets in SoCal. I was staying at the Courtyard Marriott in the far end of the same lot from this Target. Very convenient to have this store here. Parking isn't a problem in general. I don't know if it's because there aren't too many locals in the area (I think), it's not crowded at all inside here. Neatest and organized Target I've been to. It's also a plus that it has the exact same layout arrangement as the store I normally go to in the West Covina area. Many lines were available and there was pretty much no wait. Other Targets I go to have less than half the lines in use and are slow. If only the Targets here in the San Gabriel Valley were this clean and efficient. read more

My husband and I got caught up in the Chobani yogurt recall - we had four bad packs. Chobani sent us coupons and told us where we could use them. Target on Holger Way was one of them. So I went there last night and picked up the replacement yogurt I wanted. When I tried to use the coupon at checkout, the cashier told me I couldn't use them because target didn't carry much Chobani so they shouldn't be involved in replacement. I informed her this Target was listed as one if the replacement stores, and she still wouldn't take them. I told her I didn't want them at all, at which point she dropped then all into a box under her register. Wonder how long they stayed there before being reshelved. For the pharmacy, the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful and I'm sad that we'll have to transfer prescriptions to a pharmacy closer to home (since I like this one so much). They do a great job and I feel that they typically "get it right" the first time. For the store, it's newer, but they still keep it very clean and are rarely out of stock of typically purchased items. The staff is helpful as well. This is probably one of my favorite Targets in the area. Right off the freeway so it's a great location too. read more

The grocery department is awesome with a large selection of organic goods at very good prices. That is a huge plus in my book! Lovely new Target! Lovely new Target! Went there on opening day and got a $5 gift card - better than nuffin'. It's shiny, sparkly and I went there for household items and came out with 4 bags of clothing. How the heck did I DO THAT?! Hubby deliberately steered me past the shoe aisle without me realizing it...crafty, very crafty. For a hectic first day visit, service was wonderful. I can get lost for hours in a clean, well stocked target and this is one of them. I go to this target for just about everything. Sure their food selection isn't savemart of Safeway, but what they have is fresh and affordable. Parking is not usually a problem unless you roll in around noon whe everyone is at lunch. The Starbucks inside is also clean and well stocked. They always have a good selection of home goods and clothing, as well as office needs and health and beauty supplies. read more

One of the better, newer and cleaner Targets in the area. In short, it was my favorite, but the staff service has been hit-or-miss lately. I have had really friendly service here before, which were more common when Target first opened.
