This is the best Target I've ever been to. It's a relatively new location so the design is modern and fun to browse through. Sometimes when I'm bored I'll even invent an excuse to come down here and shop for things I didn't know I needed. The register service is excellent, which is my biggest pet peeve. They actually hire a person to stand by the lines and direct you to the quickest one available, so I've never had to wait more than a couple minutes. Unlike walmart (shudder), the employees are actually friendly and prompt at the registers. You might pay a couple cents extra on your items, but leaving the store happy and without a headache is more than worth it. As a bonus, the Target is equipped with a Starbucks and nice cafe area in case you need to relax after your shopping. read more

THE WORST TARGET EVER. I work about 5 min away and go during lunch. This time I went and picked up a few things and got in line with plenty of time to spare. I spent 30 minutes waiting in line and ended up leaving without my stuff! The checkers and the whole system of checking out is completely preposterous. First the lady's ID wouldn't run through. Gotta call the manager. Then the lady's radio wouldn't ring up. Gotta call the manager. Just horrible. It's a pretty nice target, can be rather crowded at times, but it doesn't give you an odd gloomy and crummy feeling that I get when I go to other targets. This target is bright and is actually really nice. One thing though, be wary about target, because when they usually have a clearance or price reduce, it's usually not by a lot, but then again, they usually have the lowest price around for some of their stuff. I like going here and shopping here. They're kinda inconsistent. Some cashier will give you 5 cents off for every bag you bring, some don't. Some cashier will bag for you, some don't. read more

I've been here more times than I can count. Probably around a zillion. That sounds right. Everything is clean, easily located (I found a aisle of body wash. Take that Saratoga Target!), and there's actually real workers in the aisles. Also, it's a smaller Target which means I don't have to go to a second floor to find things. Thank you! It's Target!! I love Target, especially this one. The prices are good and the aisles are fairly clean. The toy section has a nice selection too. This one also has a Starbucks inside of it, along with your usual Target snack shack and Pizza Hut express. The only thing that bothers me is that sometimes the lines get crazy long and they don't open enough registers to bring the lines down. I try to avoid this location as much as possible because i end up spending more money than i should on things i didn't even need! But it's great because i can run a quick errand during lunch. Parking kind of sucks because i guess everyone decides to go at lunch but it doesn't stop any of us from going. There's plenty of other small shops around here so it's always jammed with people. This target is terrible. Always out of stock of essentials. Always dirty and items sitting in carts waiting to be put on shelves. None of the team members seem to give a crap about you. Carts are always all over the parking lot so be careful about where you park unless you like door dings. and there are never ever any baskets out front. Over all skip this Target and find a better one, even if it takes a few more minutes to get there. read more

I like this target. It is quite a bit larger than the usual one that I normally visit. Parking is sometimes an issue if you want to find a space close to the door. Otherwise you will find one further back. The only thing I don't like is you always get hassled by someone who is asking for donations. Why don't they just let those who want to donate walk up to them vs. when you walk out start yelling? Most folks pay by credit card these days and don't carry cash, when you tell them that, they look bemused. The store itself is well organized, normally well stocked. You get a nice walk if you go to the grocery section and walk around the store. They normally have a number of registers open so you don't have to wait too long to check out. I tend to give Targets a 4 star rating because of the convenience and the easy flow of the store and just generally because all targets are the same. But this one gets 3 because no matter what time or day I come there is always something crazy happening outside. On my last visit a woman in a bikini (that was about 3 sizes too small) was screaming at a man for sitting to close to the door. I'm pretty sure he was a customer of the store because he had one of those target slushies and a bag from there. But she cornered him and was screaming obscenities. I mean it's not a surprise for the area, but still maybe hire security or something? read more

For as new as this place seems to be, it's a pretty bad Target. Their selection of items doesn't seem to be as good as other Targets - both because they just don't have as much variety/volume as other stores and they're constantly out of or low items they should have in stock. As far as South Bay Targets go, the one on Blossom Hill and Santa Teresa is much better. On the upside, this Target has tons and tons of parking. read more

This is our local Target store and I love that it's so darn close. Before this one opened, all the other ones were at least a 10 min drive if not more so I hardly ever went to a Target because I'm flat out lazy about going to buy crap at what I deem 'too far away' stores. It always boggled my mind how INTO Target people were because I just never had the love. But now that this one has been open, I am always over at the TJ's on Coleman, so I just mosey on over to Target to see what they have. It's actually quite the fun experience. I have found some really cute fitted Mossimo tshirts and sweaters for CHEAP, $20 or less. And they last at least a season and a half. Great for throwaway fall or summer fashion or for supplementing my fave pair of too-expensive-but-make-my-butt-look-great jeans. Who says fashion has to always be expensive? Also it's a great place for things like basic workout clothes and cheapo but don't really look like it picture frames and knickity-knacks for the home or office. And am I the only one loving their monster jumbo packs of toilet paper? One other fab reason for lovin' Target (but my wallet doesn't)...is that I go in looking for one thing, but come out with 3 big bags of STUFF that I discovered we 'need'. Target loves me actually. I can always find stuff in the store that I didn't realize was necessary to my daily existence. However, the best reason for megaColeman Target love is that this particular one is NOT as crowded as the other ones...and the service is fast, the people are friendly and pretty helpful (for a Target), it's very clean and well-stocked. Some Targets are hit or miss like that. Random note, I went there on Dec 24 thinking I was going to be screwed needing to get a gift card for a friend...expecting to wait in mondo lines of last-minute shoppers... but I was amazed to find parking quickly in the lot and no lines in the store!! I even got some fun extra stocking stuffers for my husband...was in and out in less than 10 min!! read more

Two words. DOLLAR BIN! Ok, I can't stop there. This is my favorite Tar-ghetto! Know why? Because it's not ghetto! haha In fact - it's clean, well stocked, always something new when I go & I'm there just about every week! ok, yah... sometimes a couple times a week. They have GROCERIES NOW TOO! Are you kidding me? Pick up that gallon of milk you need, some fresh produce, a new pack of socks (cuz let's face it - why do laundry when you can get 6 pairs of new white socks for $7.99!!), & that SWEET LOOKIN jacket you've had your eye on for a couple weeks that just got marked down. Now, I call that a SUCCESSFUL Shopping Trip! YAY-ya! I just love the people who work here too. They are all young & hip and still helpful when you ask them silly questions like - do you have any 50's style bathing suits??? (on a chilly eve in September) The girl in the dressing room the other night was crackin me UP! ***This is for Sweet Tomatoes next door. Not sure why it says Target but whatever. *** I eat here at least once or twice a week for the past 2 years. I have to say that in the last 3 or 4 months it has gone downhill. Today for example alot of items along the salad bar were empty and there were 2 employees cleaning up behind the salad bar arguing about something very loud in spanish to each other. Then as we sat down aboout 6 unruly kids were running around all over the place yelling and running into people. The employees seem unhappy there now. Maybe there was a change of management or something, but it really sucks now. read more

I went to target to use a gift card I was given to buy some valentine gifts . The card did not work I had the receipt that it had money on it. So I ask the cashier Rosetta if she could help me she swipe the card and with a aditude said there's nothing on it I said I have the receipt there's money on it and she said to me there's nothen on it . No explanation at all . So I ask can she call the manager so she did . He came over his name was Darrell and when he came ove I explained about the card that I have the receipt and the cards not working he just pointed his finger over to one direction and said I can't help you. Go over there I look and said over where he just pointed his finger and said over there . He could have said go to coustomer service but he didn't . So I went over to coustomer service and waited in line as I was waiting he walked over later and said you have to call a number for them to help you. I didn't understand and said why do I have to call the number and he said call that number. And wrote the number on a paper and I couldn't read the last numbers so I had to ask him what he wrote down. So I talk to the people on the phone which they did help me told me I have to wait 2 to 3 days before I get it thru my email. That was a big bummer . I couldn't buy any thing that day and it spoiled my surprise . I will not buy gift card from target any more to much trouble and the additives of the manager and cashier didn't help me any . I don't recommend. Colman target for shopping since there so much attitude there . The only helpful one was the customer service guy he explained everything to me. He was the only one helpful his name I didn't get . but the guys behind the desk I give him all the credit. The manager and other cashier should take training from him. read more

All target stores lay out are the same. It should not stand out at all, with the exception of this messy target store. Floors are not clean, toilet papers are all over the bathroom floor, popcorn and trash are on the floor in the Starbucks area. Items on shelves are not restocked. It is a total mess. read more

One of my favorite Targets! Newer store, super clean/organized and it's never really that BUSY because the MarketPlace is out there on it's own. The parking lot is XXL sized and super easy to find parking. This is a super convenient location as well as it's right next to downtown and right off the freeway. Great for running errands and grabbing lunch too, as the MarketPlace also has a Trader Joes, Chase bank, and TONS of restaurants. read more

Checked in just a few hours to grab some hair product since I ran out. The location is somewhat of hassle to get to as it lies on the outskirts of DTSJ. Hella people venture over here to have lunch at this plaza (Wingstop, Panera, Thai, Sweet Tomatoes, etc.) Pair that with people trying to go to Target to get things and you have a small parking lot traffic jam. The Target is new and it's well maintained inside but the staff is a little young. After retrieving my hair product and waiting in the express line. It took another ten minutes to get out of the store. The cashier who seemed like she was 15 was having trouble scanning a UPC. No managers around to help us out or anything. Not the greatest experience here but I'll be back if I'm around the area and need something as they are better stocked on merchandise than other Targets I've been too. read more

Target: tons of great crap at great prices. What more could you ask for? IMO: Target is to Wal-Mart as Cadillac is to Chevrolet, in terms of quality, not relation. This particular Target is pure win. It's huge, has tons of parking and is located in an incredible shopping mall that includes the likes of PetSmart, Trader Joe's and Cost Plus. I shop for pretty much everything from TP to golf balls to video games here. I prefer going about an hour before closing because the foot traffic is greatly reduced. read more

This is a Super Target. Huge, a flood of merchandise and it takes a bit to get the lay of the land. Everything you need, and things you didn't even know you needed. Very impressed with the Home Decor dept. - easy shopping for super cool things to decorate your home or dorm. Long lines on Saturday...really long lines. read more

You find nothing even the most popular items in Targets, any Targets! They lie and make you go around to all of their stores turn out you find nothing they saying have it! I googled Advil Sinus Congestion & Pain Relief Tablets - Ibuprofen (NSAID) - 20ct, it shows Target selling $8.99. So I came here, turn out they have none of these items. Then the stuff of the store told me another Target has 12 of this item in the store and it says in their inventory, so I drove another 20 minutes and got there, turned out they also have NONE of these items either! None of the Target has the item but they lied and made you drive around to go to all of their stores! They wasted 1 hour of my time plus $5 gas, which is at least $20 costs to be wasted for nothing! Totally garbage chain stores to shop! Maybe It is better just order it on Amazon, period! read more

It's a one stop shop.... soap, clothes, shoes, eyeliner for the puffy eyebrows!!!! Jess loves the clearance racks... Brother checks out the toys and games and meets me later.... I run thru the puffy chica section.. check out the latest and greatest shoes.... we all meet up.... one last check at the earrings section and we OUT!!!!! If it weren't a crime, I would live in this Target forever!!! I am bias towards Target, since my first paid job was a Target cashier. I will only go to Wal-mart if its the last resort; its 3am and I absolutely need fresh milk, but that is besides the point. This Target is my go-to for everything!! I am there AT LEAST 3 times a week, for DVDs, house ware, food, clothes, more food! The store is always stocked and I haven't ran into an item not being available yet. And if they don't have the newest DVD on shelves, I've gotten a rain check slip before :) woot! Shop the clearance racks, you never know what you will find! Make sure you check the Target ad when you walk in the front door. Target exclusive coupons and the Cartwheel app are awesome! Then swipe the Target debit card and another 5% is taken off!!! WHOOOWOOOOO. Example: "XYZ" Blu-Ray DVD was on sale for $22.99 (regular is $29.99) + Cartwheel's 10% off and then Target Debit card's 5% off. Best Target I've been to and it's a plus because it's walking distance from my apartments! Why is this the best Target? The Saratoga one annoys me because it's 2 stories and taking the cart up there is a hassle. The Cupertino one was newly remodeled so I guess that one's alright but this one has many other stores in the center. Only bad side was that they did NOT have a black or black metal DVD rack I was looking for to match the rest of my place! They only had ugly grey metal and their other wooden ones were not the right color. So I had to drive all the way to Best Buy.. However, always buy your DVDs here!! Best prices everrr. I love their random sales. We got our Nip/Tuck seasons for around $20 for the complete set when they were on sale! They're usually around 40-50 bucks elsewhere. Entourage was also on sale.
