I know Target doesn't care because they're a giant heartless corporation, but I find it unbelievable that, after being sold a defective DVD (didn't play past a certain point), I could only return it for another copy of the same movie. And, since they didn't have it in the store I was at, they wouldn't let me return it at all, instead directing me to run around to a different target to try returning it. It's not really about the money, I just think that's really fucked up customer service. read more

I heart Target. Just FYI--the difference between a regular Target and a Super Target is the fresh grocery section. This one does a pretty good job at keeping affordable fresh fruits and veggies and has an extensive frozen section as well. Prices are slightly higher than Walmart, but the quality seems to be much better. This store is vast... don't plan on running in and out very quickly. The apparel sections are much larger than other Targets. Usually it is fairly well organized, but the last few times I have been in it has been a mess. I am hoping it is because of the back to school season. Other than that it is pretty much what you can expect from a Target. Lot's of parking, clean and well-organized store. Typical Starbucks inside. But it is nice to know you can pick up groceries while you are picking up all the other random items you came to get but probably didn't need in the first place! read more

This is my go to shopping place for household needs. It is large and usually very clean and well stocked. I have two minor issues with this store. First, they got rid of the "Build your own bag of jelly belly dispensers". That was the highlight of my trip most days. Oh well, back to just getting a regular bag. Second. Unless its a holiday there is never more than four registers open. If that is the case, they NEED to get some self-checkout kiosks. Overall, very good, as far as Targets go. read more

LOVE.......Super Target!!!!! I was super excited when it opened in Tucson near my house (dangerous for my $). This is my favorite store in the whole U.S. No matter what state I am in I can find my way around, find good prices, good quality products, and my favorite color happens to be red. I am one of the crazies that go out for black Friday and when I do my first hit is Target. One year I was at this Target location on oracle at about 3:30am (freezing) waiting to go in and spend all my money. Prior to doors opening the staff/management came out and provided maps for everyone to plan their attack. In addition we were given one of their recycled canvas shopping bags for FREE. When we were allowed in the store everyone was very helpful and management did a wonderful with organizing the line so it was fast and efficient. The grocery section is nice and always clean. Shout out to the bakery for their Tres Leches cake which is one of my faves. I bought the cake here and had Happy Birthday written on it, oh it was delicious. Every time I go to this store it is very clean and staff is friendly. read more

Store is clean, but the layout is confusing and difficult to navigate. Checked out with a new cashier the other night - and somehow three of our bags were left in the bagging area (behind the register, out of our reach). Got home and realized what happened. Called, was transferred twice, and was told they had our items at Guest Services and that we could just come get them the following day (aside from 2 refrigerated items). Came in the next day and it took 5 people to determine our stuff had been put back. So we had to go gather all of our items a second time and wait in line again. 45 minutes later, we had everything we'd paid for. Just won't be coming back to this Target. read more

This is a Super Target - and I frequently find myself here to do my shopping runs for both groceries and any other odds n' ends I need. The store is fairly large, clean, and overall well-maintained. They don't have ALL the groceries you need, but the selection is decent for last-minute standard items and the other usual Target options - clothes, shoes, cosmetics, home supplies, etc. are all there waiting for you. As a bonus, they happen to have a fairly large beer/wine selection, too! Close to home, pretty big parking lot, and close to lots of other shopping on Oracle - I'm a fan. read more

I get a coffee from the Starbucks inside then I venture around this huge store. This is the Target of all Targets in some aspects. Some departments are great and you'll find one of a kind items, other departments aren't so great. You will find the motherload of groceries here. They have a large selection of food. Even harder to find items. There is an abundant supply of vegan and vegetarian food, but the only thing they don't carry is vegan cheese which I think is weird considering they have a ton of vegan stuff. Try items from their bakery and you won't be disappointed. They do sell out pretty quick of their bagles from Einstein Bros, and their single pastries. Deli items are the best and you can taste the difference from the pre-packaged cheese and meats. Most of the departments are great but, they're lacking in stationary (think school supplies), crafts, candles, purses/totes, and jewelry so sometimes I end up having to go to other Targets for these items which kind of sucks. They have self check out on both sides of the store which in theory is nice, but it is only open for a limited time during the day. Most likely you'll have to stand in line, and boy do the lines get long here so be prepared to wait a while. read more

I give this Target one star because the old Target here was perfectly fine. The new Target just means that my favorite breakfast spot Don's went out of business (RIP), that there is now no outdoor section of the target, I can never find what I need in the new cavernous interior, and I have to walk a mile just to go across the store. This isn't a Super Target - - it's a Super Duper Target! Apparently this location is the highest grossing sales volume Target in the entire state of Arizona. (Or atleast that's what an associate told me the other day while Christmas shopping.) i believe it! For as large and busy as it is, it's still pretty organized -- well staffed. Whatever department designs the ever-so-strategic layouts of your stores is made up of sheer geniuses; never let them go! I like you because you're clean and your employees are friendly. Yep, big box review that's positive from this "shop local" kind of guy. There's just some things that are easier to find at these behemoth stores. And while this one is a little bigger than what I typically need in a store, it does serve well when I need to hit a big box. The store is immaculate. Hands down the cleanest Target I've been to. Then again, it's likely also the newest. The staff appear to take pride in the way their store is run. Thumbs up to that. They are kind, courteous, and attentive to the store's overall appearance. Other than having the standard Target-type fare, throw in an entire grocery store and pharmacy. It really is a "Super Target". I'll try my best to hit the small stores where "everyone knows your name", but when that isn't going to work, this place is an excellent option. read more

This review is for this particular store, and not the corporation. I'd seen their weekly ad, looking for a food scale, and found one that was priced reasonably. I bookmarked it on my phone, so I headed for this particular store because I'd purchased Philips crab claws prior, and I wanted to pick those up, too. I found a great parking space, the store was clean, as always, and headed for the kitchen department. I found what looked like the same item, but it wasn't marked down, and the item number didn't exactly match. I was a little disappointed, although in my research, the TARGET website stated the item was in stock at this particular store. I went to a red phone, picked up the receiver and punched the option for a team member. The recording stated that a team member would meet and assist me in 60 seconds. And that actually happened! We went to the item. It WAS the item I'd seen in the ad, although it wasn't marked on the shelf at the sale price and didn't have the exact same UPC number. The employee seemed genuinely concerned that the sale price wasn't indicated at the item location, and apologized for the inconvenience. I didn't hang to find out if he fixed the problem. I found my crab claws, picked up some Tex-Mex and Sweet Cajun trail mix, all with my food scale (TAYLOR, $18.19, 30% off), made my purchase after being directed immediately by another team member to their register. I didn't wait at all for cashier service. I shop this particular TARGET maybe once a month. I shop this store because it's a Super TARGET with a food section that has affordable, different products (much like Trader Joe's, but not as extensive), and it's the most convenient (10 minutes from home). This store and employees are absolutely 5 stars! read more

It's a little sad how much I love Target, especially this Target. I can pretty much always find something I don't need but definitely want here. These things range from an adorable pair of socks to ipod headphones. But where Super Target really makes my day is in its frozen food section. I usually end up taking a Lean Cuisine type frozen meal to work for lunch. It's easy and it works. But the regular Lean Cuisine ones get pretty tiresome. Super Target though has the most amazing selection of meals. They have a wide variety of the Kashi and Amy's meals, which always leave you feeling like you ate something at least halflway decent, as well as every variety ever of the classic Lean Cuisines and Healthy Choice meals. Lunch time is much more exciting after I've been to Super Target. My only compalint about this Target is that even though they have tons of cash registers, they never seem to have enough open. You always end up standing in a longer line than you do at El Con Target. However it's not WalMart long so I really can't complain. I was excited when I found out this was going to be a Super Target and I'm excited still when I get to visit. read more

Since its makeover this Target has really gotten much nicer and carries a much greater inventory. If I have light errands, I can do them all here now...even light grocery shopping. Be prepared to spend some time wandering around your first few visits here as the layout is a bit odd and I don't fully understand why dog food is so close to kitchen utensils. For ease in and out...you can go in or out at the light just south of the store, which can be helpful as Oracle can get some pretty heavy traffic. read more

Dear Target, what has happened to you? I used to LOVE this store but it has sadly gone down hill and I walk around talking 'angrily' to the air. Their shelves for about the last year, are always half empty. If I go there for 10 items, they only have 5 then empty slots; it is very frustrating. I asked an employee about it and he said, "they won't give us enough hours to do our job". I read somewhere recently that Target would like to become as big and successful as Amazon. They're never going to get there at this rate. If there was somewhere else to shop comparably price-wise, I'd never set foot in Target again. Love this location! It is one of the cleanest Targets in town. I don't usually get my groceries here, but that area is well kept and organized. Customer service is very friendly here. I was greeted the moment I walked in today. The nice lady also asked if I needed any help finding anything. She said not to hesitate asking her for anything. I was a little disappointed with their selection of infant/toddler clothing today. It was very limited, and disorganized. On past trips this section of the store was stocked full of cute clothes. And nice displays. Maybe it's bare b/c they haven't restocked after the holidays?? ^__^ I will check next time and update! read more

It's a Target... pretty average. I think this Target has better sales than other Targets (or at least I can find clothes in my size/things I need at good clearance prices more than other Targets around the city). I always feel like it is kind of dirty here... every time I go there is garbage all over the floor by the carts and the carts LOOK filthy. Other than that, lots of groceries and stuff to choose from. This 5 star review is for the pharmacy. I love this pharmacy, I seriously look forward to picking up my prescriptions. I have interacted with three different pharmacists there and everyone was 1. super friendly 2. happy to answer all of my questions- even weird ones about what interacts with what. 3. super smart- I always feel very confident with their advice. Not to mention when you go to pickup your prescription you can also get a glass water bottle, a new dress, a new sports bra, a birthday card for your grandma, lunch for tomorrow, an ipod, a bicycle, etc. read more

Targets are targets, and if you've been in one, you've been in most. This one is quite large, newer, and reasonably well stocked. The grocery area is always clean and orderly, although the produce can be hit or miss. My only knock is the parking lot and the constant lack of clearing carts and having baskets at the front. Otherwise, it's a great spot for your Target run. read more

This is a huge Target store, the kind with groceries. It is convenient to stop in on the way home from work. I live their bakery as it allows me to get bread that is fresh. For the most part this store is well stocked and clean. The biggest drawback is their people. Not friendly at all! Tonight as we were checking out, the cashier carried on a side conversation with a coworker while she checked out the customer ahead of us and continued that conversation completely through our transaction. read more

As a loooong overdue update. I have received my TV back from the 3rd party warranty company. Whom have reported that they could not 'repair' the set due to the limitations of pixels needed for repair. I had two pixels out, but needed at least 5 for repair. Not happy. It has been so long, that I have moved on and will NEVER purchase electronics from Target again. BestBuy or Newegg.com are far superior places for such items. read more

I normally do all my shopping online but was in the area for a trip to REI so I decided to stop in and pick up a few things. Brooke, a manager, was unwilling to let me use my target team member number to use my employee discount because she said I could have gotten the number from anyone and there was no way to confirm it was actually mine. So I went to my car, placed the order in the app (which allows me to use my team member number) and picked it up in the store. The greeters at the front were super helpful and kind. Brooke was unhelpful and I wish she could have come from a place of assuming positive intent, instead of thinking I was trying to lie to her about not really working for Target. read more

A great chain but this store isn't what it used to be. Empty shelves on items I go there for and store drab looking. Boxes of inventory stacked in the aisle blocking them. 17 check out lines but only one open. Encouraged to use the self checkout but there's an employee stationed at those areas so doesn't that defeat the purpose?? Using actual people in this "historic" economy is true customer service & prevents items from "walking" out the door. What happened to caring about employees and staffing properly??Seems Target is now set up for failure which is one reason more people shop online. read more

I don't care if I should be embarrassed to review Super Target. I have never even lived in a town with a Super Target until now and I am damned excited. Many nice touches in this store you wouldn't expect to find, wood fixtures for some fruits, vegetables, and bread. Very nice (and "green") lighting in the frozen food aisle. It's all about the shopping experience at Super Target and they have done a very nice job. Somehow it feels decadent, luxurious, and yet fun to saunter down the aisles with your newly designed plastic cart. The aisles are a tad narrow and I probably wouldn't be caught dead there on a Saturday morning. But if you have the place to yourself, well grocery shopping might just be relaxing, imagine that! There are a lot of organic choices and a million versions of every product. The choice can be overwhelming. The prices are remarkably less for most things than Fry's, Albertson's, etc. They work this low-food-price model on the off chance that you will buy an ipod or a new sweater (things with a higher profit margin) while picking up some eggs. It's certainly not my everyday store. This place could be a time vortex with all the choices. But, I am not embarrassed and maybe I have seen too many Target commercials, but shopping here is fun ™ read more

Clean & organized as usual w/ Target. I feel safe knowing there's strong security. I feel comfortable when around Target customers or employees here. Also, partly because a lot of hot ladies shop & work here ;) Where there's ladies, men follow. SuperTarget beats monopoly-Walmart & the 99c store any day. Aspects you can't really find w/ other grocery stores especially Walmart & the 99cent stores. Target treats their employees better than Walmart's. Despite what you might here in the news about Walmart, & others, raising their employees wages'. Get a Target RedCard & save 5%! Double that w/ their Cartwheel deals! Their apps are great. They even surprisingly have a large organic section that's visible when you walk-in! You should only shop here if you're poor or trying to pay-off debt. Otherwise, stick w/ Bashas, Food City, Safeway, Sprouts, or Whole Foods. Because Target is still a corporate giant like Walmart. #2 behind Walmart in wealth & dominance of this market. Target has really made an effort to win-back consumer support through improved services. Only complaints are: They should open earlier, like at 5am. And post on iMaps their store hours. Because i don't wanna arrive when it's 100 degrees outside w/ traffic! There's usually a strange carpet smell when you walk in. I question the necessity of having carpet at the entrances. Walmart, Albertson's, Bashas, & others don't have carpet when you walk in probably for this reason. Because it smells, is flammable, higher-maintenance, holds in: dirt, spills, & dust mites. That carpeting needs shampooing, get a RugDoctor. I'm surprised Target hasn't fixed this by now. read more

You would think customer service would be a little more friendly. I was searching for a board game online and found it was available in store locally. So I drove to the store where I found the game for a different price, this isn't the first time this has happened. So I went to the customer service counter where they will adjust the price to reflect what their weekly add says. The lady behind the counter was extremely short with me and said the price is the price, and she wouldn't honor the Internet price for target.com she said I would have to buy it on line and pick it up in store instead. Although it was a headache I began the process, after getting to the checkout page and creating an account I get told by another stellar customer service agent that there's no reason to wait for the game that they won't even give it to me within two hours of me buying it online because it has to be pulled from inventory. I still had the game in hand....so I canceled my order and bought it on amazon. I try to shop locally but in the case of target, I won't be back unless I have to. read more

I shop Target regularly-all of them on the east side and this one as well because it's the only Super Target Tucson has. We usually find what we are looking for and can navigate the store pretty easily. They have a decent grocery section, and sometimes you can find really good deals on the steaks and pork. My reason for this review though is solely for our regular cashier. We go to his line always and have for a couple of years. Imad is always kind to us and so friendly to my son. My son calls him his friend and will always ask Imad for a sticker. Of course Imad will never disappoint! This guy is a great cashier but he is even better at providing us with excellent customer service! We enjoy checking out with him! read more

Have not been to a super Target in a long time. It seems that for us Walmart is the best price point for many of the household items we use for our home. . They even show some occasional athletic outfits for great prices. However, I must say that Target fills a more sophisticated look for clothing for women, athletic wear, juniors, men, children. A lot of very trendy chic clothing. Also a great selection of bras, panties, lounge wear etc. This store is stocked well with clean shelves in the food market area. The sad thing for me is that there were at least 15 check outs with no one manning them. Just two with a live person in the whole store. Plenty of self check out venues. I guess the trend is to save money and hire less people who needs these jobs. Sadly this is becoming nationwide. I must say though Target is making progress to fill the needs of the population with reasonable prices for clothing of all sorts. Behold.. a SUPER target?? Super target is a totally foreign thing in S.F where I'm from... place is huge with tons of goodies ranging from clothing to housewares to food.. etc tempting me! I normally frequent this location when I need cheap furniture. Just scored a faux grey leather ottoman this weekend for $30.00 here at 50% off. So happy with my purchase... they were selling similar ottmans at Homegoods for around $60.00 so I say I definitely found a good deal. On my way to check out I like to peruse the Essie nail polishes.. and most of the time I end up snagging up one of those on my way out! Service is always great here too and the cashiers are always so friendly =) read more

This is my local target, its pretty good albeit a bit understaffed. Everything is always well stocked. Most of the staff are friendly as neighbors bar two employees, Abram and this lady Damarice or Damris or whatever. Honestly, I ran in this target just for a quick Starbucks fix before running to the mall, but I was quickly distracted by the huge cosmetics section. The store itself was clean and tidy. After finding some new eye shadow I wandered over to the check out to see only 3 lanes open with medium-long lines. I jumped in the shortest and overheard the cashier named Harrison talking to customers. This guy was awesome. Super friendly and polite, and the line went quick. This store is a little out of my way, but I definitely won't hesitate to revisit in the future. read more

We are fans of Target and this locations is not different. This locations is large and roomy. There is plenty of room to move around. I will note that at times when the University is starting up it does get a little crowded with students and parents doing some last minute school supply shopping. Other then that it is a relatively quiet store. This is a Super Target so you get a nice selection of groceries. read more
