I too am a target whore. The unexplainable phenomena that is Target while always mystify me. I usually just go here with a small list of things that I need to purchase, for example the other day it was light bulbs, a surge protector, and some workout clothes. Yet I somehow always manage to leave with a basket full of goodies. They somehow just suck you in with all their fantastically wonderful, affordable things. Rarely do I purchase any single item over say...$30.00 yet I manage to spend like $150.00, I don't know how this works. This Target has amazing people watching too, perhaps because it is on the edge of WeHo and Hollywood. I enjoy going for that aspect as well. I love that they have all these high end designers producing lines of stuff at ridiculously good prices. i.e. GO International, new Proenza Schouler line comes out this week!! Even their own lines of things surpass all other super supply stores, particularly the kitchen stuff (I just picked up a new bamboo plater and my man got a plate shaped like a boat) If you haven't been to a Target in oh, say like EVER, you might like to know that they now carry their own line of delicious snacks under the name of Archer Farms ( I recommend the apricot macadamia nut granola) Also they have started carrying a nice selection of salon hair care products!! I'm here too much. At first they try to kick my dog out...I found out it's against the law to kick out a paying customer so now I never have a problem with bring my dog into target. I live a block away and it's amazing how much I spend every time I go in. As far as the toy department goes it is just okay. There was a lot of emptiness on the shelves today and it made it hard to find a toy for a gift. Furthermore those that I did find had damaged boxes, which you can't exactly wrap and present as a present. Parking is free for the first hour. Although it's not hard to spend an hour in target browsing around. It's convenient for me since it's just down the street from my place. Nice and big Target store. First hour of parking is free. It was nice that it was open till midnight. Most Targets are usually open till 1100. I came in at the 1100 hour and they were already restocking. I expect this out of a Walmart, not a Target. So walking down some aisles was a bit of a challenge. read more

This is the worst Target. They continue to rearrange their shelves at random so it's impossible to find what you're looking for. And today, despite having a packed store, they had three, and only three, of their checkout lanes open. The lines stretched well back into the store. Target is great. They seriously have everything. Food, home goods, beauty stuff, home goods, decor, clothes, pet clothes, and always excellent seasonal stuff. I'm sure a bunch of other shit too that I just never look at because I don't care, like toys and technology and whatnot. Target is enormous. Can trigger my big-box store anxiety as a result but not always. That's what the Xanax in my purse is for. Target is clean. Prices are reasonable. There's usually a Starbucks if you need to recharge after some hectic shopping. I have bought some really cute clothes here which I never expect to happen until it does. I bought a suit for my cat here that regrettably didn't fit her. So disappointing. I really wanted cat-in-suit pictures for my Instagram. Target is still my go-to for pet clothes. Size smaller next time. They have a wide selection of everything, including pet clothes. My cat is game to wear clothes, she's a unicorn like that. Target sells this Pacifica Blood Orange Body Butter that I really like. Target is especially great around Christmas and Halloween. They have such great seasonal stuff. I got this hilarious spooky raven clock there today. The goths never can resist the Halloween merchandise. A lot of my Christmas decorations come from Target too. Aside from allowing the far right to dominate its pharmacy in areas of the country where they are needed most and aside from donating megabucks to Schwarzanegger, Target is fun. Unlike Wal-Mart which must steam roll hills, trees and creat these awful big boxes to ruin small businesses nearby, pay their workers nothing, restrict unionizing, demand tax breaks and limit women's equality, Target is more than happy to fit in to the place you have for it, heck if you had rooms between the webbing of your toes, I'd bet Target would set up shop there if you'd let it. Such flexibility is proved by Target's willingness to come into this mall like design in the spirit of the Kodak Theatre center at Hollywood & Highland and Sunset & Vine. The staff are super helpful, the store is immaculate and the items are easy to find. I hate not supporting local businesses but in this modern world, sometimes when you don't have internet or phonebook handy, you just say "Well they have everything at Target" and such was the case here. They have everything, even stuff to clean up the stuff between the webbing of your toes. read more

Crazy parking! Crazy busy! But oh so cute Target stuff. I really want that penguin martini shaker. Um, do I need such a shaker? No, of course not. That's how they suck you in with their cute housewares, cheap prices and crazy good marketing. I commented to my friend upon entering the store that I had never been to this particular Target before. Upon leaving, I commented to him, I most likely would not return. No, I don't need to steal your shopping carts and your crazy signs with the dire warnings that the carts won't work after you cross to the outside world are silly. The operative word in this review would be crazy. And despite what the other reviewers have said, I actually like the Culver City location better. I love Target. I hit it up at least once a week usually. I even have a Target registry list...... this particular Target pisses me off. The staff is fine.....I don't expect much, so I don't really look to them for help. The store is clean and pretty well stocked. I never really have trouble finding anything...... however.....there is nothing more annoying than the check out lines. The store was poorly poorly designed. Why would you have the main entrance pour directly into the line area? Basically everytime I go after work, or anytime in the evening, the 20 people and I who are trying to get into the store are slowly pushing our way past the people in line like cattle crossing a bridge. There is no way out. Maybe a few adventurous people try to weave through the purses and jewelry, but there always seems to be a stray shopping cart or small child/road hazard in the way. As for the people in line....they do not attempt to alleviate the problem by pushing their carts to the side, or pulling their 5 children out of the aisles....oh no, they embrace their rudeness. They lean on the end of their shopping carts, ass sticking out, reading Us magazine, not paying attention to the fact that the people ahead of them have moved and now they are holding up the 8 other customers behind them. There also seems to always be some little child in a tutu or with a tiara practicing their spinning skills while their mom gossips loudly on her cell phone.....(and people are actually shocked when a child is abducted?) anyways....i love Target. sometimes I crave it so bad that i sigh, and drive to Pasadena for the quiet, stress free experience. read more

Sure, the first hour is free at the garage but what if you end up walking aimlessly through the aisles and forget your hour is up! In general, the prices are quite reasonable, especially when one is afforded the opportunity of purchasing a product under the "Up & Up" label (Target's brand), which are, more often than not, seemingly of comparable quality... Speaking of quality, furniture and home furnishings vary but you often get what you pay for... However, there are some very attractive designer lines and the quality tends to be pretty good. Most stores are well run and it is rare to feel life wasting away stuck in a register line. I purchase fairly regularly via the website and delivery. Beware of their so-called "2-Day Shipping" as this ain't no Amazon. Weekends don't count and locating the products and boxing them doesn't start the clock either. read more

Target is my favorite one stop shop for household supplies , cosmetics and food if you need it.

I love Target, don't get me wrong. But this one is a bit of a mess. I usually avoid trips here and if I must, go early on the weekend or at another non-peak time because it can get insanely crowded. Parking is free for an hour and I usually skip the chaos of the top floor of the parking garage and go straight down to the lower level. There's always a ton of spaces and, because I normally try to be in and out in an hour, it that saves me the time I'd spend hunting for a space on the first level. Anyway, once you get inside the store, it's usually relatively clean but it can be really picked over. I go here for basic necessities every once in awhile and I dread it every time. And most of the time, on the way out, someone will have not pre-paid for their parking ticket and it usually holds the exit line up. I've been there once, possibly, when this has not happened. I would say trekking a little farther to a less chaotic Target location might be worth it! read more

I love Target! It's not necessarily cheaper, you just have to be a smart shopper. The clientele has become complacent and has numb minds; as most places do. Unaware is another good word, but I can get outta there in less than 30 minutes and do a full shop. Customer Service is adequate, but I wish they would be more on the advanced customer service technology savvy-side. Self check out, perhaps. This is the Target closest to where we live, and while it's not awful, it's far from my favorite Target store. First off, the parking lot is annoying (and I'm very used to Los Angeles parking), and if you take your time shopping, you'll find you have to pay to park there. What really earns the 3 stars rather than 4 or 5 is that of all the Targets I shop at, this one has the least items that we regularly buy. Both Targets in Culver City and the one at La Cienega and Jefferson, not to mention the Glendale Galleria Target have the stuff we want to buy, but not our local Target. Prices on some items, like cans of cat food, are a few cents higher, too. Still, when it comes to things like toilet paper, you can't beat having a Target nearby, and we shop here and get our prescriptions here regularly. read more

This place has gone downhill fast. I went to get shelving and they were out of the storage cubes I wanted. Looking around at their meager selection of units, all the good stuff is at Target.com since they want to shove the Internet down our throats some more. I finally buy a five shelf unit, lug it home, try to put it together and have it break apart half way through assembly. So into the dumpster it goes along with 49 dollars and no shelves to clear all my clutter. If Target doesn't want to lose more customers, they need to have a wider selection available to the public since fewer and fewer people are wanting to buy everything online. For the most part, this Target has what I'm looking for. I absolutely hate the parking garage, though. An inconvenience to customers, really. Workers are OK here; some of them aren't very good at directing customers to aisles and specifics, while others have an "i don't give a sh*t attitude." I came in here and asked where I can find tote bags and light bulbs...and none of the workers seemed to know. I was misdirected twice. I stopped to ask another worker for the third time, and he "KIND OF" knew where to find what I was looking for. Another inconvenience was when I was searching for a specific furniture and called to ask if they had it in stock. The woman on the phone put me on hold for 15 min. Does it really take 15 min. to check up on one item? She told me that the item was out of stock, but her tone sounded pretty lousy and fake so I went back to the store. Guess, what? She lied. I found what I needed, but it was the last one available. Yes, I ended up going straight to the customer service and truthfully complained how annoyed I was. I got an apology, but that doesn't really mean anything. I like how close this place is from where I live, but the lousy workers here make me want to b*tch at the customer service so often. Don't buy bikes from them!!! I bought a Schwinn mountain bike less then a month ago and since then have taken it in to get serviced buy their bike technician twice! Both times he has kind of fixed the problem but then created another problem. The gears wouldn't shift properly, all of the screws on the bike were loose, the breaks didn't work, the crank was broken, the chain broke, etc! I bike to work so I thought that by getting a $200 bike would at least last me more than a month. I took it in yesterday and exchanged it for the same bike. When the manager Jeff (who was very helpful) showed me the new bike, I immediately showed him all the loose screws.. I took the bike home after screwing it all in properly. This morning I get up to go to work and the gears won't shift at all! They stayed on the lowest gear. So once again I'm late for work (third time this week due to bike problems). I'm returning and getting my money back! Do not go here if you want a bike. If you do get one please test it out because you can seriously hurt yourself read more

Seriously the WORST Target there is, and there shouldn't be any such thing as a bad Target because it's an amazing place. First of all, parking sucks. It's in a center with some many things that you always have to fight for it. It's also awkwardly built so a car pulling in/out will lead to lanes being held up despite their being 2 lanes in the lot. The actual stores are pretty far from where you end up parking. There are different elevators and escalators that lead to different things. Next, Target itself. It's older, dirtier, jankier but whatever. The workers! IDKY they're all mad and angry but they're not very helpful and have no idea where things are, where you can products, how to work the registry, nor even try to help you locate something. I had one worker point me to a box that was clearly a different brand from what was displayed, and when I tried to tell him, he's like no... it's still a stroller. UGH. I've never been so angry walking out of a Target. Oh yeah, there was also vomit next to my parked car. WTF. I would rather drive further south and go to Culver City's or east to somewhere in the Valley than come back to the WeHo Target. read more

I personally love fmthis location! Not because it's the closest to me but because it's huge with free parking upto an hour. They recently changed things around in the store and are show casing alot of their home furniture @ Watch out Ikea! It seems the furniture may be a little better quality than ikea so it's a win win if you only went to target for milk and end up buying a whole new living room! The down side about all Targets no matter the location is that you can never only buy 1 item!!!!!! You have a plan to get a rug for your bathroom and boom you just brought a new camera, dvds, an iPad, a tent and some workout gear that you will never use. By time you are rolling out of that place and half way home you then realize you never got the rug you went there for in the first place but it's ok because you're happy with the new items you brought!! read more

I needed a phone fast because mine was damaged. I arrived before 10, the time the phone representative was scheduled, at about 10:30 I had to get a $110 prepaid Verizon phone that ended up needing here to turn on several hours later. At that time I had to wait another 30 mins for her break. The big kicker is I find out I qualify for a new Samsung Galaxy 9+ phone for$88 which I got, no thanks to the girl in charge that when I asked her to check for me proceeded to say she's be back and15 minutes later I got tired of waiting.
