Location is great! It's right at the bus stop so I can easily commute from this store with all my bags.

I hate going here, but it is the closest target to Hollywood. Everything is always picked over, especially on the weekends. Holidays are worse. The customer service. ....it's target. I have always loved Target. I can go in needing only one thing and walk out spending $100.00. It does not happen to me at this store. The mens department is ALWAYS out of my size underware, slacks, jeans, etc. I am a 30 inch waist for crying out loud. Is this the Target for Big and Tall??????? I really love Target stores and I have been in a lot of them, all over the Country. I realize this one has a lot of pressures... Namely, it's in LA and it serves about a bazillion people... so keeping things in stock has to be tricky. BUT, even then it's just so-so compared to other locations. HIGHLIGHTS: Parking is underground and 1 hour free is nice. Also, they generally seem to have a lot of checkout lines open, which helps move those bazillion people through quickly. read more

What can I say about Target that hasn't already been said? I give this Target five stars for being located in West Hollywood. The lines were long - no surprise Cashiers were clueless - no surprise I originally had my heart set on Daphne's downstairs, but there was no way I was going to walk through that construction muddy mess. I was in line for 10 minutes to get a little chicken flatbread sandwich. Finally I'm up, and apparently they have run out of everything. I wanted the chicken spinach and artichoke sandwich, they were out, so I ordered the chicken marinara one. The guy taking my order had the WORST attitude. It's like they hired him that day, gave him an apron, and told him to do whatever he wanted. He was rolling his eyes, in a bad mood. I'm over here smiling, trying to be nice. Excuse me, I'm sorry you're having a bad day and other customers aren't being nice, but at least put in a tiny bit of effort! Waited 5 minutes for my sandwich to be microwaved. Came out frozen in the middle. Yuck. Got my money back and ran out as fast as I could. read more

Target, you are my most favorite store of all time. No one else comes close (except maybe IKEA, but the distance kills any chance between us). The fact that this is a Target store gets it three-stars by default. It's a more updated and bigger store though, with a market section with some grocery stuff like milk and cereal and other snacks and foods. It's clean and well lit and things usually are in order and organized with good service to cap it off (sure beats Wal-Mart!). I used to go to IKEA for all my furniture and housewares, but Target has done an great job with the buying for their Home sections. They've got nice and contemporary/modern designs for dishes and kitchenwares, and the same goes for their furniture sections. This Target has a particularly large selection of these things, including their World Market stuff. The extra star goes for the location - it's located in the same shopping center as a Best Buy, Ulta, BevMo, and other useful stores. Some of the basics you can't find inside Target you can probably hop over to the other spots to get. Talk about convenience! And after your extensive and enjoyable shopping experience, you can take the escalators upstairs to the outdoor eating area where you can get Jamba Juice, Ice Cream, Greek Food, Baja Fresh, Pomodoros, or Starbucks for the ride back home. But because of the location, the parking sucks (so no five-stars for you). That first-floor parking can be a merry-go-round, so if it seems full, just go straight to the bottom floor to cut out the unnecessary stress. And not to mention those folks who forget to pre-pay when they're leaving and hold up the exits - AND try to back up! The plus is that it's open until 10PM during the week and 'til 9PM on Sundays. And if you're in and out less than 1 hour, no need to pre-pay cause it's free. read more

So I never knew Target could be so confusing!!! I'm used to going to Target for all my little necessities and just having to park in a normal parking lot for free and going in and out!!! Since I moved to the area, this target has been my one stop place to shop. I was first thrown off by the huge line of cars waiting just to get into the parking lot. After about 30 minutes of looking for a parking, I had to take an elevator up to get to Target, but once the doors opened.... TAH DAH, its Target!!! I have never seen a more crowded Target ever!!! After about two hours of shopping I realized that I was gonna have to pay for parking, so that was a bummer!!! What made the trip alot better was a hot dog and a refillable icee for 4 bucks!!! This is a fantastic Target location. It is so huge and they usually have more selections than any other Target location. Great customer service, friendly and helpful staff. One hour free parking, make sure you use the automated parking machine before you get back in your car, even if your visit is under one hour. This is very important, or it will be a headache dealing with this situation with the parking attendant. The complex also have a few decent fast food restaurants so you can grab lunch before or after your shopping. read more

Favorite Target in the LA area by far. Always well stocked, clean, and organized. The parking can be a little annoying but only because it's a shared lot with Best Buy and a few other retailers so it gets crowded and slows easily. They also have plenty of team members on the floor so someone is constantly there to help you with whatever you're looking for. Keep it up! read more

this is the only target around my house and i visit it at least 3 times a month. the entire plaza is pretty awesome! it's extra convenient that best buy is right next to it and there's a baja fresh and payless shoe store! not to mention, it has bevmo AND ulta as it's neighbors! this target is not ghetto like the other ones around LA, but i've noticed that the prices are a bit higher than let's say the target in downey. however, it's a small price to pay i guess to not be surrounded by ghetto people. however, the parking situation is a bit of a downer and that's why i give it 4 instead of 5 stars. you get the first hour free but it's $1.50 for the second hour and honestly, who can BLOW through target in less than an hour??? you need to take time and appreciate every aisle!!! not to mention, if you're gonna be shopping here, you will wanna check out bevmo, ulta, and best buy when you're here so an hour is NOT going to cut it! also, this target is a bit smaller than let's say the GIANT ones like the one in cerritos and so doesn't have a lot of stuff "in stock." this fact and also, the parking fee makes me give this target 4 out of 5 stars. however, i'm still a loyal and devoted target shopper! i have their target red visa card!!!! My romance with target has been long and fantastic. I always find what I need and have no complaint about anything. I spend more than I intend to because I never know what I will get when I am there. Usually the basics and extras add up to above $100. I have two daughters and love the clothing selection. Great dresses, pajamas and tee shirts variety. read more

Had a good experience at target, i've actually being going there for years now. I've notice a change in the quality of the clothes and also in other products. I love the fact they have champions as sport brand which is a brand we use a lot in europe, also for the department of car supplies they have the maguaire brand for car cleaning and he prices were great. This Target is one of the better ones for me in the area. The parking is always plentiful, even on crazy nights, and the store itself is well set up. I once got something from the grocery section that they accidentally overcharged, and it was a cinch to fix the issue. They're good with pricing and reliable with their products. Another area that I enjoy shopping in here is the area rugs, as they tend to have different types from places like Ikea but still around the same cost. Target Pharmacy - the last time I went there, (12/08/2013) the woman at RX drop off was so incredibly rude that I want to never use Target pharmacy again. I have been filling with Target for 4 years and have been to this pharmacy in particular at least 30 times! I don't care if you don't remember me, fine, but I know I do not deserve to be scolded and judged because I am trying to drop off a controlled prescription that GUESS WHAT - I don't wanna take this either, but a medically trained psychiatrist wrote the prescription, approved by the FDA obviously, so don't give me shit for picking up a prescription I am already feeling awkward about taking. Megan is always very nice and so are most of the pharmacists there to be honest, but I have had to deal with this particular girl multiple times, and she's never professional. I really hope this review gets taken seriously because someone with that kind judgment should not be dealing with patients at all. read more

This is the most expensive target i have ever been to in my life. Taking into account that this location is in the heart of West Hollywood on the corner of La Brea and Santa Monica and also that it's extremely clean, well stocked, well staffed and the service is good, I guess you get what you pay for. There is an underground parking which I believe is free for the first two hours. Hi usually don't have trouble finding parking here but then again I've never been here during high traffic times like the holiday season. The only other remarkable thing about this target is that it seems to be frequented by the best looking people in Los Angeles. I mean it every time I visited this target in sweatpants or without make up I regret it because I see a number of super gorgeous people walking around buying paper plates and dog food and shit. Also I know some of you kids are into shoplifting, a word of wisdom: I really wouldn't try it here ( or anywhere else for that matter) , it looks like security is real tight. read more

As far as this location in particular, it's fairly clean and organized, decently staffed. (Most locations are so crowded, dirty they'd be lucky to get three stars from me.) One must have a strategy when going to Target--any Target, really, but this one especially. If you go there on a Sunday afternoon you'll be there with the entire middle class shuffling around with shopping carts filled way past capacity. You know how it is when it is crowded. It takes longer than anyone expects, everyone is a little grumpy... So, go there Sunday early AM, when everyone else is it church or sleeping off their hang overs. Or Monday AM, when everyone else is at work... But, no matter when you go there, you'll find probably 75% of what you need. For the other 25% you'll find empty shelves. read more

The only thing that I dont like is the fact that after 1 1/2 hours you have to pay for parking. How lame is that! Just came back from there and Tito was amazing. Needed help finding batteries for my camera and they were nowhere to be seen. We asked the tech people and they were USELESS. We walked by the home section and saw an employee (Tito) and he dropped what he was doing (stocking) and looked up the code for the item and then proceeded to physically go and get it for us. I was super grateful. We told guest services about this and I hope it gets to management because he deserves the recognition for going above and beyond. Tech people... step it up. read more

I love love love target and this is definitely a big nice one. The selection is on point but they don't carry as much clearance stuff as a lot of other targets. I would give this place 4 stars except for one thing, SHOPPING CART ROBBERS!!!! At least half the times i've been here i've gotten my cart stolen. Not like empty cart sitting in the aisle stylie, like straight jack my cart full of stuff and dump my stuff on a random shelf. This weekend i stole a cart for the very first time... on black Friday. Too many fake service animals in this store and the employees/management don't do anything about it. It's disgusting, it causes allergic reactions to some guests, and it contaminates products. This store would rather ruin the in-store experience for every other guest and jeopardize their health and safety instead of ask one person to remove their dog for fear of a lawsuit. You can tell that these "service" dogs are fake, and they are overrun in this store, often with several dogs in at once. I've said things to management multiple times, and nothing ever changes. We spoke to a security guard once and he said that as many as 20 dogs come in in any given hour, and sometimes they even poop on the store floor and are not asked to leave. This needs to end, and this Target (and Target as a whole) needs to do something about it. read more

I want to like this Target, but I'd go to the Target in Glendale from now on! Parking sucks, and they do not validate parking. i spent over 1 hour in the store since i was buying a lot of stuff for my new apartment. $250 later, nope. they don't validate parking. --Please read this review if you care to change this place for the better-- The RACISM at this Target is out of control. (Please note that someone found this review FUNNY. Racism is Awesome!) Mind you, some of the people that work here are really great. But others, not so much. I've lived in West Hollywood for four years, and I've been coming to this place since I first moved here. In the beginning, it wasn't so bad, but in the last couple of years it's gotten progressively worse. Just today, I was in the store buying the exact same thing I've been picked up twice a week for who knows how long when I noticed there was a clearance sale on blankets. I was in the aisle for a while trying to figure out which one I wanted, and I noticed one of the workers was restocking some of the shelves. She moved out of the aisle when I came, presumably to give me room. When I moved to another aisle to see if there were any more blankets, I saw here there so I decided to go back to the first aisle to get out of her way. After a few more minutes, I went to check another aisle and saw she had moved into that one. Once again, I moved to get out of this person's way so she could do her job, and went back to the first blanket aisle. --A few minutes later there were two male Target workers around the aisles, clearly not doing anything else but snooping around me-- I know the drill here, so I picked up a blanket and followed the larger man so he could see that I wasn't trying to steal anything. When I looked at him, he did not return my eye contact. Could I have been wrong about what I thought I saw? Possibly. Except: --This is not the first issue like this I've had there-- -I've had workers checking shelves give a funny look and tell me they were 'on break,' when I asked for help. -Late last year, I had a smaller girl with a walkie-talkie not so subtley accuse me of trying to get a free coffee at the Starbucks when I was having an issue with one of my cards. When I called to complain, I was told that the store manager, Simone, would reach out to me. I never received that call. I have since seen this girl giving me weird looks on more than one occasion. -I've had people repeatedly follow me into aisles. -I've gotten more than my fair share of abnormal behavior since they've been doing the self-checkout. Mind you, some people are great here. One guy even bagged my items for me this afternoon. Unfortunately, last night the girl working the checkout made it a point to turn her head as if she didn't notice I was there. No telling what that was about... -Once, I took a phone call near the entrance and was standing near the door for about ten minutes. A security worker started eyeing me and then made it a point to stand near the exit door facing me with his arms folded. --This was extra depressing, because he was black, too... ----- I'm really not sure what is going on in this place, but it would be nice if there was some kind of sensitivity training or maybe a workshop to help make some of the workers less unconsciously hateful. I think Target gets the misconception that they won't have this type of problem because they hire a relatively diverse staff. This could not be further from the truth, and I hope someone will acknowledge this as soon as possible. I also wonder why the people who are doing this stuff don't ever think about how they would feel if they were treated this way. In their own neighborhood no less. Add to that, you find yourself ignored when you try to speak to one of the few people who could potentially alleviate the problem. Once again, there are A LOT of really decent and friendly people that work there, too. But at this point, they're about neck and neck with the discriminators. Something else that makes no sense: Have ANY of these people ever actually seen someone shoplift or become violent? How many times have you seen it happen? If the answer is 'No' or 'I don't know' or even 'Not that many', then these people really need to check in with their attitudes about reality. Why do you think you know what a suspicious person looks like? Is it because of anything you've actually experienced? Once again, if the answer is 'No' or 'I don't know', then they need to acknowledge just how crazy what they're doing really is. Anyone who reads this post, please recognize that it wasn't just for black people. It's for anyone who has dealt with discrimination or unfair assumptions. It's also for people who really just want to feel comfortable wherever they are, and not have to worry about random people blowing their day. --Please make it a point to be more mindful of the way you treat people you don't know or know anything about.-- And to the Target management, please do something about these people. NO ONE should have to deal this type of nonsense. read more

Pretty solid Target. Everything is in stock and there are always plenty of open registers. I don't care very much for the parking structure and only given an hour for free when there are other retails locations (i.e. ULTA, Best Buy) and eating establishments (Pomodoro, Jamba) in the shopping center so am hour may not be enough time.
