Pretty good spot for a coffee or a quick meal that punches above its weight in terms of quality. Not a full sit down restaurant, but not a chipotle assembly line either. I had the goat cheese salad and thought it was great. Light dressing throughout, tasty ingredients, and toasted bread with cheese to make the dish a little more hearty. Solid lunch option. My parents each tried a tartine (the main attraction here), and enjoyed their meals as well. The space is in the lobby of a commercial building, so there's lots of foot traffic next to the open seating area. And in the colder months it can get a bit drafty. Great find in a pretty hectic part of midtown, if you would like a quick but more elevated meal. read more

Was in the area one afternoon and decided to stop by here for lunch. I had their avocado toast tartine with chestnut & mushroom soup. The soup as better than I expected, but not very colorful just sort of looked gray and strange but tasted alright. The avocado toast was phenomenal, one of the best avocado toasts I have had as it was loaded with avocados on top. There is a lot of seating as it's inside of Olympic Tower next to a bunch of other shops and stores but a great place to enjoy a meal. read more

I've been to several Tartinery locations in the city and this has one of the best views. It's right next to the gorgeous St. Patrick's Cathedral, with high ceilings and glass windows. It's located on the 1st floor of a building and does have a bit of office / mall cafe feel, but it's a nice, open space. They have table service (it's not a cafeteria) but there were food crumbs left on the seats, so I'm not sure how well they clean them... I ordered the Smashed Avocado Petite Tartine with a soft-boiled egg ($14.25+). It is pricey for what you get, but the egg was boiled perfectly and nicely presented--and it was tasty, too. If you're looking for a brunch place in the area and enjoy spectacular views, I'd recommend stopping by. read more

Came here for a quick lunch after some shopping on 5th Ave. It's inside the Olympic Tower. They have a few different flavors of spritzes which was fun. I prefer sweet drinks and the blood orange spritz was my favorite, it was very refreshing. I got a quinoa bowl which was a solid healthy salad. It was decent but nothing special. read more

Good place in midtown to schedule a coffee meeting. A lot of space, and the tables are generally spread out enough to not feel on top of each other. Can do sit down or to go. Ooh delicious! We stopped in here in between Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral and a snowy walk in Central Park. The dine in section had quite a line, so we went for the 'to-go' side and found a little table across the lobby. There's also public bathrooms next to this spot, so that was great. It did take quite a while since one person seemed to be making all of the coffee drinks for both the to go and the sit down sides and they did forget my husband's croissant. Ordered lunch. Waited 40 minutes. Asked the server for the coffee part of my order which he brought eventually. He asked me if I wanted sweetener I said, yes. He never brought it. Went to see the manager who did nothing until I went back a second time and he looked into my order which he told me was never placed.
