BUT, my husband and I recently took a trip to Paris and I also love pain aux raisins. To our delight, Cafe Bilboquet has those too, so my friend and I each had a small coffee and a pain aux raisins. The pastry was as good as any that my husband and I had in Paris! I've also had lunch here with a couple of other friends in recent months. They have a good variety of pretty authentic French sandwiches and some quiches, eggs, etc. Not inexpensive, but the food is top-notch. You order at the counter, then move up to the cashier, tell them what your order is and pay for it. If you're lucky, as we were around 9:45 this morning, you'll get one of the little round tables where you can sit and chat and relax; in good weather there are some tables outside as well; a lovely boulangerie or patisserie experience!

The espresso drinks are good enough to brave the pandemonium that is ordering/waiting for your beverage, but plan on taking it to go if you come here!

I'd recommend that at least one person at the table order them, but the portion is pretty generous. :) The service was nice, albeit a bit slow at times. However, the staff was friendly and the overall atmosphere is chill -- we weren't in a rush at all! Sitting at a booth in the back, we had the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy our meal, making for a lovely brunch with friends or family.

I ordered the iced honey oat latte and loved it. The honey was subtle but did add a lovely touch of sweetness. And of course I need a pastry with my coffee and decided to switch it up and go savory because balance, right? The spinach pastry was AMAZING! Exceeded my expectations and was the perfect snack size- but I almost went back for a second one! Friendly neighborhood cafe that is worth a visit!
