It's a cozy cafe with friendly staff near Lincoln Center. There aren't that many seating options, but there is a variety of food from pastries to sandwiches that all looked promising. I ordered a cappuccino and egg frittata for breakfast. The coffee is bold and contains a hint of hazelnut, one of the best I've had in the city. The frittata is pretty good too.

I've been coming here for over two years now, and it's become one of my go-to spots near campus. The pastries are always fresh, the sandwiches are solid, and the coffee never disappoints. The staff is super friendly -- honestly, that's one of the main reasons I keep coming back. They also offer a small discount for students, which is a nice touch. Definitely a great spot to grab a quick bite or get some work done between classes.

This is one of my absolute favorite cafe/coffee shops. Servers Always friendly and professional. The barista knows exactly what I want when I come in. "Ice Americano with a pump of chocolate." They serve LavAzza coffee which is amazing. They also serve Monin chocolate for the syrup. Delicious The almond croissants are always flaky and fresh! There are tables in the front under a small canopy, and when the weather is nice, they have a couple of tables outside. The prices are fair to a little high but the quality is excellent! They are a part of the Masseria Dei Vini restaurant, which is next-door with a completely separate entrance. I love this café and I'm here at least twice a week. I highly recommend them.

the PEC (pancetta egg and cheese) sandwich was so good! didn't expect much from it but I enjoyed eating the fluffy eggs, and the generous amount of pancetta. green tea was a good, caffeinated beverage to accommodate. pleasantly surprised!

Swung by on a Wednesday morning to try their pistachio croissant, bombolone (jelly), and espresso. I was not disappointed and would recommend this place for good espresso. Their pastries were yummy, however for croissant aficionados, take note that these are more on the dough-y side and less on the flaky side. The service was fast and friendly. Like someone had mentioned before, there is minimal seating inside - but fortunately they have a small covered outdoor seating area in front.

For me, the best iced latte I have had. Friendly and cozy, Italian style. The almond cornetto tastes so good. I will come back when I come manhattan next time.

I have been walking past since this opened a few months ago telling myself I was going to come here for breakfast. Today, I finally was up and out early enough to get here and get my coffee before 9am. The place is small inside but boy do they have a lot of different items. The woman who was taking my order was so helpful Along with the 2 others I saw inside (who helped me with some authentic pronounciation.. I'll get better). The main woman recommended her favorites and I just went with it. I ended up getting a panBrioche (no meat) which was egg and asiago cheese between hand made croissant bun . The croissant bun was soft and flakey as it should be. The sandwhich was more way more filling than I was expecting. You can get the same sandwhich with meat in it too if that's what you're feeling. I also got a sfogliatelle a similar outside to a croissant but with more structure filled with ricotta and some orange zest. This is definitely a sweet item as it's also sprinkled with powdered sugar. But not too sweet! Its pretty dense and filling. I was confused on the item when I was recommended it, but was pleasantly surprised with the consistency. Lastly (for food), I got a rustici, a puff pastry filled with ricotta and spinach which looks amazing but I haven't tried yet because I am still so full from everything else. Coming to a caffe I also had to get some coffee. So I went with my favorite morning sugar bomb, a mocha. I was medium happy... only because my husband ended up stealing most of it. The few sips I was able to take before the robbery were delicious . Next time I will definitely get a large so when it inevitably gets stolen I'll still have time to take it back. It is related to the nice restaurant next door with the same name so the caffe also has some nice lunch options including pizza, soup of the day, and pasta of the day (i was here early so didnt get to witness this quite yet). The Cafe is very small on the inside with only a few bar seats. But they also have a couple small tables outside.

Caffe Latte and Occhio di Bue

Fantastic stop -- small place with just a few seats, but it does the trick. Strong latte (with extra shot) and one of the best cookies ever!

I definitely would've given a higher rating if there wasn't a piece of hair in my croissant... :( unfortunately will not be coming back.

They're always so lovely in Masseria. The flat white was perfect and the jambon pastry was delicious. Always a good stop.

BUT, my husband and I recently took a trip to Paris and I also love pain aux raisins. To our delight, Cafe Bilboquet has those too, so my friend and I each had a small coffee and a pain aux raisins. The pastry was as good as any that my husband and I had in Paris! I've also had lunch here with a couple of other friends in recent months. They have a good variety of pretty authentic French sandwiches and some quiches, eggs, etc. Not inexpensive, but the food is top-notch. You order at the counter, then move up to the cashier, tell them what your order is and pay for it. If you're lucky, as we were around 9:45 this morning, you'll get one of the little round tables where you can sit and chat and relax; in good weather there are some tables outside as well; a lovely boulangerie or patisserie experience!

Upon getting closer to the door, I learned it's part of Le Bilboquet restaurant on the same block. It wasn't too crowded when I visited on a Tuesday mid-afternoon. Every table except 1 was full, but most people were heading outside on such a beautiful day with their drinks and pastries. The cafe is very cute and French. They have so many pastries I couldn't decide, so I ordered a pain au chocolat and tea. They serve Harney & Sons teas. This is a lovely spot, and I'll return to try more.

I always get almond croissants from coffee shops but wow this one has to be one of my favorites. The crunchy (sugar?) top coating and the filling were delectable. I got one of the seasonal spring drinks, called "Karl" which is a banana cold brew with cold foam. I don't even like cold brews since they tend to be super strong and pretty bitter, and banana can be a hit or miss, but I enjoyed the hell out of this drink. It was a bit sweet, which I like, and the cold brew itself had a banana flavor when I had just expected it to come from the cold foam. I didn't sit or stay inside as I had to go to work, but there are a few (maybe 5 I think?) chairs along a bar counter on the side. Plants in the window too which I love. The barista was nice and made the drinks quickly despite being there by herself early in the morning (or at least I didn't see another employee). I recommended this place to my coworkers and can't wait to go back and try the other drink options!

Theres a shared bar table along one wall with high top chairs and menu options at the counter + a chalkboard with seasonal drinks. I left with a Balthazar Bakery box with 4 items. The 2 Everything pastries were filled with what looked like spinach and cheese. Incredible when reheated, but I wish they were served warm. The cinnamon roll was good, but not standout. The pain au chocolat was tender and flaky. Some of the seasonal drinks, like the Grinch, looked really good and I'd come back to try one, but I likely wouldn't swing for a pastry this time.
