PURCHASE WITH CAUTION! On 5/24/19 I placed an order for a power window regulator/motor unit in which the original total was $50.20 with shipping. On 5/28/19 I received an email to confirm VIN # on vehicle. On 5/29/19 I get an email stating that the part in question was now sold as two different parts and my total would be $476.43......NO WAY! Upon cross referencing the two new part numbers they had listed on the invoice, one of the parts was a memory module for $383.46! This was something I did not even need! Obviously I became VERY suspicious of this and promptly cancelled the order. I then was able to purchase the part in question directly from MOPAR for $56.45! I suspect something fishy was occurring here with this situation.....if they deny this, I have all the emails to prove it. They should be investigated by state attorney general! read more

One of the easiest dealerships I have ever worked with. Shopped around several other dealerships before going to see a vehicle at Tasca. Our salesman Jorge was phenomenal and made the process extremely easy and efficient. I left with my new car just a few hours after test driving it. To make things even better, the windshield had a small crack that had already been repaired and could not be fixed, so Tasca arranged to have the windshield replaced at no charge to me. My wife and I recently bought a new Ford Escape from them. Based on many of the negative reviews, I preferred to go back to Flood Ford where I purchased my last car, but the inventory was lacking. I did my homework and found a few vehicles that I was interested in. The one I went with with the options, (and even the color) was right on the showroom floor! Alfonso was our salesperson, and I believe he was very honest with us and I didn't feel pressured to buy on the spot, even though I did that day. The finance guy Ron used the typical hard sell for gap insurance and extended warranty, etc. I ended up getting the lowest priced warranty, and it was still almost $1800 over the life of the loan! He also seemed in a bit of a hurry, but yet I was there more than 4 hours. That is why I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5. read more

While there were many decisions to be made, your people did not pressure us to make any hasty decisions. We also had not purchased a car for ten years, many things had changed! I was told a specific pre-owned car was on the lot so I said I would come in. When I arrived shortly thereafter the salesperson who told me this was not around and the one who did help me looked and said it was not there. I decided to see if they had anything else since I was a ready there and need a car, so he looked through their inventory and found a different pre-owned car I was interested in. He went off to look for the keys and I waited and waited and he did not reappear. I asked some other people about where he was and they said it was a big lot and he had to look for it. One of them went out to look for him, couldn't find him and took me over to the sales manager. Then it got really bad. I was admittedly a bit exasperated, told him I didn't have a lot of time and had been waiting a long time. His response "you need to be patient- you're buying a car not a hamburger." Nuff said. I was really skeptical about coming here after reading some of the reviews. The review is about the service department and the mechanic I dealt with. I waited a few weeks top write this because of what happened. I had to schedule an appointment for a recall on my Escape. They told me it would take about an hour to perform the repairs, so I opted to wait for my vehicle. I believe the name of the advisor I dealt with was Ed? He was friendly throughout the process. My car got in fairly quick, and the advisor had a quote for me. He explained some repairs I needed, some that would be on the way, and some maintenance. Brakes were low, something about a control arm? How it's a common issue on these cars but they are not bad enough yet to replace. Air filter, wipers, some of the usual stuff you get from dealers. He seemed to be honest about what really needed to get done. Once my car was done, I took off. It wasn't long before I noticed my car smelled like gas, so I had to turn around. They got my car back in immediately and looked at it again. About 15 minutes later my car was up front again with the technician. He wanted to explain he recall to me, and why I smelled gas. Without hesitating, he opened the back door, lifted the back seat, and opened this panel in the floor. He took the time to tell me that the recall was to replace my fuel pump, and the only way to get to it was through that panel. Had I known this, I would've brought my car in on empty. I just topped off my tank 10 minutes before bringing it to the dealership. The tech then told me that the smell would fade in a day or so, and if it gets worse within a week or so, then there's a problem. That's why I waited to write this. The smell went away, but I wanted to make sure it stayed away. Overall, my visit here went better than I anticipated. read more

THEIR SERVICE DEPT CUSTOMER SERVICE NEEDS WORK- HERE'S WHY: This situation started off BAD, but due to the great customer service work of Jenn Jaime a service scheduling manager, things worked out really well for me. I bought my Mazda CX-5 purchased in December '16 in for it's first service. I had called to set this up and requested a loaner since they indicated they would need to keep the car for a while. The loaner I requested was agreed to on the phone by the person who schedules service. I even called the afternoon prior to my service just to be sure and was assured that yes, I would get a loaner for the day. I arrived at the service desk at about 7:50 am for my appointment. There were two service guys - one was typing on a computer, the other had a customer in front of him. I tried to speak with the guy typing and he brushed me off and told me to wait for the other guy. Easily 15 minutes went by, but finally the second guy addressed me and told me i was in the wrong place for the service I needed, that I had to go to their quick lane area and that no, they do not give loaner cars for service. I was annoyed to no end as nobody had given me the correct story and also, since this was a new car with a first service scheduled nobody had walked me thru the process. I went to the quick lane area and gave my key and complained about the loaner issue. The fellow there escorted me to Jenn Jaime who was A WONDERFUL HELP. She got me a voucher for the loaner car and urged me to ask for her upon picking up the car. I was very grateful for her help and she also gave me her manager's name: Bruce D'Angcause and suggested I see him. I went to see Bruce to express my appreciation for Jenn's great help and I also mentioned my frustration with the intake process and the two service mgrs who I encountered first at the dealership who made me wait for over 15 minutes without even asking me what I was there for so they could route me to the correct area. Bruce was very apologetic and actually picked up the cost of my service much to my surprise and gratitude. The moral of the story is that I am here writing a complimentary review of the dealership after they more than corrected a bad situation. read more

After waiting 15 minutes in the quick Lane line I was informed that my fleet vehicle that was coming in for an oil change would be an eight hour process and I would have to drop it off and come back after 5 PM. The gentleman Eric behind the counter informed me there's a new policy in place that payment needs to be received before work is started. He couldn't take the time to discuss this with me he was more concerned about shuffling papers on his desk. As a loyal customer this is unacceptable especially for a fleet customer that comes in for regular maintenance. Sales at Tasca is awful. Do not waste your time in their showroom. At first I was impressed with the sales team. I went in to test drive and said I was going to drive a few other cars before I made a decision. The salesman respected me and didn't call every day after as most dealers do. When I made the decision to go back in to purchase the car that's where it took a wrong turn. We waited for a good hour for the salesman I was working with previously and while we sat in the showroom no other salesperson came to help or ask if they could get us anything. When we finally got into the office to discuss options we were interrupted constantly and the sales manager was not focused on us. When he was finally able to pay attention he would not meet us at a mutually agreeable number. We decided at that time it was best to leave. After about a week we went back in after researching other options and asked for information from the car we wanted but the sales manager was too busy flirting with my mom to give us the information we wanted and an honest deal. Tasca is a factory, not a company that cares to get drivers into the right car for the right price. I am extremely disappointed and will never recommend Tasca to anyone. I have a brand new pre-owned car that I was interested in selling to Tasca. Before bringing it there I tried to call ahead to make sure it was worth my time. I called multiple times and left a few messages. I never heard back from anyone. A week later I went to the website where there was an online form for an appraisal for my situation. I filled this out and it said someone would be in touch with me...nope. So a few days later I brought it by without any notice. I went with my mom and first went into the regular sales part of the building. The first guy we saw there was very nice and pointed us in the right direction to the pre-owned sales office. My mom and I walked in and we were completely ignored. We waited for a few minutes and finally were told to talk to "Lou". So we find Lou but this was the wrong Lou, turns out there are 3 of them. Once we found the right Lou, he was nice enough to us, but seemed eager to get rid of us. He looked at the car for about 10 seconds and then he told me he would call back in 3-4 hours. After the 4th hour I called Tasca back and someone said told me Lou would call me back in 10 minutes. I waiting all night, no call. I waiting all the next day, nothing. I left a voicemail that night. Nobody called me back so I then called first thing the next morning. A few hours later someone called me back and it seemed like they were looking up a price for my car right then since they asked me a lot of questions about it. The price they ended up offering was over $2000 less than the Kelley Blue book dealer price. And on top of this, Lou realized he hadn't given me my registration back, so I'm forced to return to that dreadful place! read more

I found a 2014 Focus ST on CARS.COM that was listed in stock at Tasca. After speaking with Alex Ramos, he said they had one in CT, but could bring it down. I made an appt to check it out later in the week. I then got a call from the sales manager, explaining that if they wanted to bring the car down, I needed to pay a (refundable?) $150 deposit. I told them I was not comfortable exchanging money for a test drive. Pros: -Alex was very nice over the phone. Also very apologetic. Pros: experience with salesman Devin, price of vehicle, fair price on trade in Cons: vehicle passed inspection in RI but failed in Mass (needs a new turn signal bulb - how does this not get caught?), not the most responsive bunch after sale made, felt duped by the difficult to understand finance manager on extended warranty, rattle in car's moonroof not noticed until I got onto a bumpy road. Overall, Devin is great and the car was a good deal. Everything after the agreement to buy has been not the best experience, from customer service to quality of the vehicle. Their motto is "you'll be satisfied". I am not and would advise people to be very careful and thorough with their inspection of the vehicle and on the finance side of things. read more

From the person I made an appointment through (courteous and knowledgeable) to the sales manager (friendly and polite, not at all pushy or slick) to the salesman we worked with--all were better than could have been expected. The salesman was particularly excellent: knowledgable without being bossy, helpful without being pushy, and zero pressure whatsoever. Let's just say I've had quite a few mechanical issues with my 2012 Mazda 3 sedan. Luckily, all while still under full warranty. By now Barbara Stenner in Tasca Cranston's service department knows me by name and has really been super nice and accommodating to me. I'm sure she feels bad I have had so many issues with a brand new vehicle but it's not Tasca's fault. If anything, they have really proven themselves to me throughout this somewhat ongoing ordeal. First, I must acknowledge that ANYTHING having to do with vehicle repairs stinks. Being in the suburbs we depend on our vehicles daily and it's a stressful situation in and of itself. Tasca is a BIG dealership so there is almost always at least a small line in the service department, especially in the mornings, but they are efficient and nice enough to get you in and out. Barbara was very nice to offer me a complimentary rental the last two times I had to visit the service department as I had so many reoccurring issues with my vehicle. I must also note their shuttle service is not bad either; it's typically you and the driver taking you to work in a Lincoln town car, really not bad at all. The car rentals are done via 3rd party through Hefty. Eh, Hefty is alright. It's a car to get you from point A to point B, but certainly don't expect anything fancy. The mechanics know their stuff and so far have really done an excellent job diagnosing and repairing my vehicle. I had to return a few times, but only due to the error code being extraordinarily vague. On both repair reports, they basically had to check everything in detail, call Mazda tech support and go from there. I really didn't have any issues using my Mazda warranty other than Tasca being required by Mazda to order the part direct, which always required an additional trip back to Tasca. Whenever I arrived to pick up my keys and vehicle whoever was at the cashier desk was always very nice and personable. So far the AC compressor, oxygen sensor, and fuel pump have been replaced free of charge and I pray we have gotten to the bottom of the issues! read more

Couldn't have been happier with our purchases. They stand behind their vehicles and each one is solid. A special thanks to salesman Lou Colon for being so great to deal with. He comes off as honest and genuine (rare in the car sales biz) and he always recommends the right vehicle. Very happy with our experience. Worked with Shawn H. to get a 2014 Dodge Journey. He was very knowledgeable and just gave us facts no bull. He also honored the online sale that was not documented at the dealership and I appreciated his customer support. I liked that he cared more about what we wanted in our vehicle versus the price- I was originally concerned about going to a dealership thinking they push you towards the pricier sale to benefit themselves. Didn't experience this at all. Very happy with our choice. Will be going back to Shawn again if we eventually need a new vehicle. Tasca- only suggestion I have for your team is to add a section to your website or have a brochure at your dealerships for first time car buyers on how your dealership works. This was our very first experience and we were happy with it, but I wish I had a resource for basic terms or general process. I thought Tasca was gonna be good to me. It all started when I began my lease on my 2013 Mazda3. For starters, I test drove one with automatic locks. And I told my sales man I wanted the EXACT car in black. A week later after all the paperwork and credit checks, I was given a car and with manual locks. Seriously? I never got a phone call saying this or asking me if I wanted another color. Then I was told there was nothing that they could so since the paperwork was already drawn up. So I just said screw it. It's only for 3 years. I'll deal. Then someone hit me. Took it to their body shop. They installed the bumper incorrectly. And it is the off and sticking up it on the passenger side. I brought it to their attention and they just "popped" it back in. And guess what it popped itself back out. Also I was charged 20 bucks for a tire patch as I had a screw in my tire. I have paperwork from toyo saying my tires has road hazard warranty on them. Now almost 3 years later I'm at my last oil change before I return the car. I decided to go to Flood Mazda because they had a special that I couldn't pass up being someone who likes to save money. And low and behold the Tasca service center has been putting the wrong oil in my car since my first oil change. My car requires a full synthetic oil while they have just been putting in normal oil into it. When it comes time to turn in my lease and look for a new Mazda I'm gonna stick with Flood. Let me just put it this way, I'm not satisfied. read more

i found a car online and went for a test drive. The car was certified pre-owned according to their advertisement. The car had scratches along both sides. I was promised the scratches would be buffed out completely. I was also told it may take a week or two for the title to come in. After two weeks of waiting and a $500 deposit (cashed immediately even though they didn't have the title, yet) I went to inspect the repairs. The car still had scratches all over, not that it mattered because they still didn't have the title. I told them they needed to fix the scratches. They refused to keep the agreement so I asked for my deposit back. The salesman didn't try to resolve the problem at all. I was then told they couldn't write a check for my deposit, I would get it in the mail in a week. I got a follow up email from someone asking if I needed anything else (like they had actually been of service to me.) I replied that I wanted my money back. "I'll let my GM know" was the reply and I haven't heard from them again. I have purchased 3 cars from them previously and that's how they treat a return customer. Horrible service. My wife has been getting her 2010 Mazda CX-7 serviced at Tasca Automotive Group since new. The last service was on 4/11/15 using the quick lane for an oil change. After the service was completed we noticed that the passenger side mirror was broken. I called the service manager on 4/13/15 and left a voice mail to address this issue and received no call back. During the service on 4/11/15 they completed a multi-point inspection where they check battery, brakes, tires, and etc. The inspection showed that the battery was "Good" however I had to get a jump start on 4/23/15 and a new battery on 4/25/15. The inspection also showed wear on all 4 tires . We had just bought new tires a month back. I wouldn't put much value in Tasca's multi-point inspection. Tasca says "you will be satisfied" but not in my situation. I also tried calling the service desk manager again to discuss all of my issues and have not received any call backs. read more

Recently purchased a certified Lincoln vehicle from Tasca. Purchase was solely based on the amount and reasonable fairness of my trade in. Car would be cash and out the door - no BS. I had initially called dealership in advance and arranged an appointment and test drive. I arrived earlier than planned. I had been to Tasca several times before and have never purchased. On the night I test drove the Lincoln, sales consultant, Lou Colon, treated my son and I respectfully. He Spoke with us- not at us. He did not berate or belittle the purchase - thereby preserving the dignity within the sale. I commented on his approach and thanked him for his service. Upon completion of the deal I had (2) requests. Mr. Colon fulfilled and resolved my requests in true veteran form. Beware if you bring your vehicle in for service! Brought in my 2015 F150 for a sunroof repair (for the 3rd time). We picked the truck up after it being at the dealership for 5 days to find damage to the passenger door. We are not talking a minor ding here, the paint was literally ground down to the metal! The, rude and condescending,service manager , David Mooney, after referring to me as his "buddy" basically told stated that it didn't happen at the dealership and we were lying. We we suggested that it may have happened the car wash, he responded that we created an "elaborate story." We take meticulous care of the truck as it is not a daily driver. Our suggestion if you visit Tasca for repairs is not to or if you must have someone inspect your car upon drop off and pick up. read more

I'm confident that routine service or whatever problem my auto has will be fixed correctly the first time. The one thing I regret is not looking at yelp before giving Tasca my business. I am not a person that post reviews often but in the case of Tasca it is well warranted. I purchased a part online that I needed for my vehicle several weeks ago. When I opened the box I realized that there was some damage to the part. I immediately reached out to Tasca and spoke to Bill(or Bob) who sounded as if he was skeptical that the part was sent damaged. He mentioned that it was very odd for that to be the case and asked me to email photos of the damage which I did immediately after hanging up the phone. I received no response from Tasca on my issue even after sending follow up emails to their employee. Now I have to spend extra time to dispute the charge on my credit card which is a high inconvenience for myself. I will never purchase anything again from Tasca and highly advise that you do your due diligence to investigate companies. Take a look on the Better Business Bureau, the ratings speak for themselves. Just wanted to pass on my experience. UPDATE: Immediately after this review I was contacted by Tasca to address my issue and it is in the process of being resolved. I really appreciate the customer service that was exhibited. It's good to see that the company as a while rectified the actions of one employee.
