Excellent place. The service and the owner were great, friendly and welcoming. They fill your cannoli in fresh, and it was really excellent! I wish I'd gotten more. The customers look like regulars. The owner was making fresh coffee cakes raspberry, blueberry, and other flavors. Everything looked fresh. They have olive oil with herbs, bread, cheese, and other stuff too. There's a place to sit down, too.

I was finally happy to make it to Nonni's after experiencing their cannolis that were gifted to us from our cousins when they stopped by our house. I figured with their fantastically fresh and uniquely stuffed cannolis that were some of the best I've had in a very long time, what else do they have cooking up in there? So I took a drive and had some fun. Upon entering and properly ordering 1/2 dozen mini cannolis which are piped fresh and made to order, I somehow got a dozen but wasn't mad! I also ordered some other Italian pastry classics: rainbow and anisette cookies and a few diff types of cake bc hellooooo.. Then another customer was ordering a sub/grinder and the young gentleman behind the counter seemed to take pride in his sammie making skills so OF COURSE I'm going to support local! Give me one of your best chicken cutlet sandos I said! And that's exactly what happened.. The sando was great but I'd say the cannolis were still my fav and can't wait till go back for more! Ran into Nonnie's; in a pinch, to grab cupcakes. The cupcakes that were available were absolutely beautiful. Each 4 pack had completely unique, detailed floral designs with both vanilla and chocolate cake. Beyond this, there were also small terracotta pots with the larger sized cupcakes inside, with the gorgeous floral frosting design as well. When my coworkers saw the cupcakes, every single person asked to take a picture of the assortment before anyone started eating- they were truly gorgeous and perfect for this time of year. The taste matched the aesthetic- perfection all around. This is not the first time I have had Nonnie's sweets. My husband ordered my birthday cake from here; a chocolate peanut butter cake with the whipped cream frosting- amazing. I also had their pistachio cupcake with a ricotta frosting, outstanding. I cannot recommend Nonnie's enough.

Came in before closing . Staff was attentive and friendly . Fresh cannoli cookies came out , I'm assuming by the owner . We got those, a cake slice and other cookies . They just started selling grinders . We'll need to come back for . The menu for them looked great .

    Nonni's Bakery birthday cake

Amazing customer service, family owned and operated local spot with delicious cakes, pastry, cookies, & stuffed breads. I had a special cake made for my Moms 70th BD party & Nonni's took the time to REALLY listen to what we wanted. My Mom is picky and she ABSOLUTELY LOVED her cake. Our guests are still talking about the yummy strawberry & peach cake! Highly recommend!

Made French toast with their gluten free fresh bread

Made French toast with their fresh gluten free bread SO good. Gluten free cheesecake, stuffed breads, cupcakes, bagels, cookies and chocolate cake. Cinnamon buns and pastries and everything you else could imagine for the gluten eaters too

Needed cookies for 50+ people at the last minute and they surpassed my expectations

I really love this little bakery. I was in a bind and needed a cake within two days and every other place that I contacted said they could not do what I needed. For reference it was a white cake, with a picture of Ronald McDonald on it with a raked texture and matching frame. So in my opinion it was a cake that was not complex, but for some reason the large grocery stores refused me. When I went in to Nonnie's , everyone was so warm and kind. They were personable and became really invested in my silly McDonald's Birthday Cake Debacle. The cake was loved by all that ate it. Very light, but fulfilling. I would recommend anyone who needs baking done, to take a visit to Nonnie's. They treat you like family , their prices are VERY fair and I will definitely return again. also there Italian cookies next level good! I plan to grab some more in a couple days.

I was looking for a stunning and delicious cake for my mom's 80th birthday, and I was absolutely delighted with the result. From the moment I walked into the shop, I knew I was in the right place. Lori greeted me warmly and generously took the time to talk through exactly what I was hoping for. It was such a refreshing change from the usual "hurry up" and "good enough" experience I often encounter when searching for something that matters deeply to me, even if it may not seem as significant to the person helping. Lori was attentive to every detail in the most efficient way. She guided me through decisions without ever being pushy, offered recommendations that were perfectly suited to my needs, and ultimately created one of the most beautiful - and most delicious - cakes I've ever had. She also packaged it carefully for the three-hour drive to New Jersey and thoughtfully accounted for potential January weather complications ahead of the party. My mother was truly blown away by the piano keyboard and hydrangea flower decorations, and our guests raved about the chocolate raspberry buttercream cake, as well as the salted caramel and vanilla cupcakes. Thank you, Lori, for an exceptional bakery experience at every level.

They were helpful, responsive, and everything was clear and upfront. There were no surprise charges, or "gotchas". In fact they did several things beyond the scope of the contract without additional charges. More importantly, on the wedding day everything went perfectly. They gave us great advice on the set up of the tables, chairs, bar etc. They listened carefully to everything that was asked of them, made a couple of outstanding suggestions and dealt with the problems caused by strong gusts of wind at an outdoor venue with calm assurance. All of the food was incredible. The hor's d'ourves were fantastic, especially the brie and artichoke tarts, mini lobster rolls and tuna tacos. The mac and cheese in mini ramekins were also a huge hit. The dinners were equally delicious. I had the half chicken, which was served with a delicious polenta. It was absolutely amazing. Perfectly cooked, moist with a crispy skin. Other sides were served family style and were all fantastic. The dessert was also superb. Each guest received a trio of mini desserts, each of which was delightful. We had several guests with food restrictions (vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free). The servers made sure the restrictions were observed, and they made it a point to bring appropriate appetizers to those guests, which was a very nice touch. All of the guests raved about the food. The service was also first class. There were so many servers handling the passed hor's d'ourves that every guest had multiple chances to try each of the offerings. Service of the dinner was equally impressive. The venue is outdoors, and it is a bit of a hike from the kitchen tent to the dining area. Despite that, the guests were served quickly, and the food came to the table still hot. Finally, their prices are quite reasonable, especially given the outstanding quality of the food and service. A very good value.

With axe throwing, a retro arcade, coffee, chocolate, and this bakery. I got to explore the exposed brick and large filament lights of this specific locale, and picked up some sweets from this little shop. It's very much loud and proud in it's appearances on popular food television. Having pride in your success is a good thing, but it's very much in your face about it. It also prices accordingly, making the price of the baked goods you get at least a couple bucks extra. Thankfully, the baked goods are actually pretty good. We got a couple misfits, a couple french macarons, and one of the dessert waffles they had. The misfit muffins tasted pretty good, soft and light, not too sweet, and well balanced. The French macarons, they were not too great. the filling was sweet but lacking depth. they were pretty though. The standout was the Dessert waffle. Sweet, crispy but cakey, and plenty of chocolate and peanut butter flavor. A surprising bite, and tasty. Overall, it's a good dessert place to go to and try out. Not worth a trek, but a solid choice for that specific area

The bakery was initially founded as a cupcake truck. The two bakers were then featured on Food Network shows such as "Winner Cake All" and "Cupcake Wars", winning the latter. After that, they opened their first brick and mortar bakery. Most recently they competed on the Netflix show "Sugar Rush". A second location opened in Southington at the historic Factory Square complex in October 2021. Another location once existed at the Buckland Hills Mall in Manchester, but it has since closed. The locations offer cupcakes, custom cakes, cake pops, whoopie pies, cookies and muffins. I stopped at the Southington location of Hardcore Sweet for the first time this past July. Several businesses located at Factory Square were offering special menu items to celebrate Harry Potter's birthday. Factory Square is located conveniently alongside the popular Farmington Canal Trail, so I cycled there. Hardcore Sweet had several Harry Potter offerings that day, but by the time I had arrived most of them were sadly sold out. I ordered one of the few Harry Potter treats that they had left: Buckbeak's Breakfast Cupcake. It was delicious! I definitely need to come back to try more of their tasty treats on a future visit to Factory Square. I just need to get there earlier in the day when their selection is bigger.

So being in the area, decided to come here and pick up some donuts for the ride home. We got here late in the day, and they were out of almost everything when I got there. I managed to get a churro and matcha donut. I then saw they did a Dubai chocolate strawberry cup, and had to give that a try as well ( they only do the cup on the weekends) The donuts were very fresh, light and chewy. They are high in price but much better in quality compared to other places I've tried. The Dubai strawberry cup had a kind of weak chocolate sauce over them. Not the cheapest stuff on the market, but not strong or mellow like the expensive chocolates. The strawberries were fresh, and the Dubai part needed a little salt to counteract the sweet and enhance the earthy. Inside is well decorated but dirty. All the tables were dirty, there's lots of dust and other ditritus when I was waiting for my dessert. It was end of day, so I get why they would not be fully clean. But there's some repairs that need to get done and there's cracks in the facade. Despite the lack of donuts, the quality was good and the Dubai strawberries were a nice sweet treat. This is a good place to get some interesting food items or sweet treats. Not a trek worthy spot, but good if you're around

Once it was our turn to order we were devastated to find out that they were out of the K-dog batter and could no longer make any so we decided to get extra sweets instead. Overall the deserts were absolutely delicious especially the mochi donuts I would recommend the ones that we tried but of course I'm sure the others taste delicious as well. Our least favorite was probably the crepe cake but that doesn't mean it wasn't also good me and my friend just thought the batter could use a little more flavor. My friend bought the coconut cake and when she first tried it she didn't like it all that much but she said that once she put it in the fridge the texture and flavor of the cake was much better and rated it an 8/10. Aside from the pastries I ordered a mango fruit tea with passion fruit popping boba and I was a bit underwhelmed. The flavor of the fruit tea is lacking a bit but I feel my taste buds were a bit altered after so many sweet treats. I will definitely be back again to give the boba another shot and finally get my hands on those k-dogs!
