The desserts were actually quite good. As we left, I noticed the specials board, which included a special I would have ordered had the server bothered to mention the specials. The server also didn't bother to bring cream for our coffees, and when we pointed it out she said she'd bring some right away--then proceeded to ignore us completely for the rest of the time we were there. The door of the ladies' room was very difficult to open, so each of the senior citizens in our group was temporarily trapped in the restroom trying to get the door open. The roof of the deck leaks, so some of the tables were unavailable in the rain. It's only open until 2:00, but it stops serving breakfast at 11 AM. I'm not sure whether I'll ever return to this restaurant, but I will update the review if I do.

The clam chowder was good, but I wouldn't get it again. It's just not my style. The single lobster was excellent. The lobster was sweet and there was plenty of it. When you pick it up at the counter, they ask if you want the lobster cut for you. I appreciate that. Especially with the hard shell. It makes it much easier to crack open. My kids had the lobster roll. There was plenty of lobster and they enjoyed them very much. I recommend Young's Lobster Pound. Lobster was excellent. The view was spectacular. My only suggestion would be to have someone outside wiping down the tables or have spray and paper towels available so patrons can wipe down the tables and seats before use. The tables can get sticky with all the butter and lobster juice.
