    Fried Spicy Chicken (Popcorn Chicken)

It's been a while but I don't know why I don't order more from this place. Their food is A+. Love their popcorn chicken and braised beef. I wasn't a fan of their boba but their food more than makes up for it. Service was quick. I don't think they have indoor sitting anymore so I can't comment on the ambiance and it's more of an order grab and go place. Overall I highly recommend.

Its been many years since my last visit. Same consistent quality :) I'll be back since I got a stamp card now.

Found this place on Yelp & was pleasantly surprised! They only offer takeout here, they've closed off their dining room. I definitely didn't know this before I came so I ended up eating in my car because I was so hungry. Service was okay, not super friendly. I feel like pricing was a little on the higher side but you do get a lot of food. Quick service even when ordering there. What I ordered: -Fried Spicy Chicken Meal: This was their popcorn chicken meal and you get a lot of food! In addition to the popcorn chicken, you get rice, cabbage, pickled cucumbers, and a chicken and potato side dish! Everything was so good and very flavorful! Definitely quality food that I'd get again! 5/5 -Lychee Black Tea: This was okay. I enjoyed the lychee at first taste but then the aftertaste and bitterness of the tea wasn't appetizing to me. 3/5 Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this place! They've got great popcorn chicken! I will definitely be back!

Haven't been to a taste tea cafe in a long time Located in a parking lot - looks to be order to go only as the seating and entrance area is blocked off For the online order aspect only - easy to use site but I did notice somethings on their menu was not available online Also there is a .99 fee when placing the order online. The physical menu shows the item order actually cheaper than what is posted on their website. Order place for pork and bamboo meal - menu shows 15.99 and online shows 17.59... The owner did reach out to communicate when placing an order to either call in or simply order in person as it is a 3rd party site utilize to placing orders.. so an FYI For the food! (Also note when placing the order online pickup time will literally be close to the minute stated on order) Boba, teas, meals, and appetizer - large variety !!! Food was piping hot Well package Pork stew and bamboo shoot - tender, meaty, great ratio of meat and fat, fat was tender and not overwhelming Bamboo shoot crunchy goodness! Came with hot fluffy rice, broccoli, eggplant and garlicky potato side, and a dessert item? Easily shareable! Leftover yes or very sizable meal to consume! Will return! 2-3 chairs outside to sit. Appears to be very minimal folks working so just be patient as the gentleman see was making drinks, getting food prep, and handling orders. Thanks for the tasty treat to self!

Came across this place and decided to try it out. You can walk up to the door where they only provide take out ordering requests - decided to try the almond slush with boba and it did not disappoint. The flavor of the almond didn't taste artificial and the boba was a good fresh consistency. It came in a reusable cup if you're trying to be eco-friendly. The place seems to be family owned, give it a try & support a small business!

I came here because my friends recommended it. I got the passion fruit tea with boba and it was really good. The boba was perfectly cook. I love that you are able to choose your sweetness level and it's reasonable priced. The only thing I would change might be the service. They weren't the nicest and it took a while to get the drink.

Been coming to this place for many years now, specifically for their meals. I usually order the popcorn chicken meal (mild). It comes with rice and 3 sides of veggies and tofu. Before covid, they used to have indoor seating, but now they just do takeout. I suggest calling in your order ahead of time, and it is normally ready within 10-15 minutes.

Stopped by for some small bites and drinks and was so pleasantly surprised! For what you get the prices are extremely fair compared to what's around the area. We got two orders of popcorn chicken and a milk tea and everything was great - exactly what you'd expect. We were pretty much in and out. Will definitely be coming back to try their other items, so nice to have discovered another taiwanese restaurant nearby!

My boyfriend and I visited Taste Tea Cafe for drinks and they were delicious! We were greeted by a friendly staff member who made our drinks quickly. The cafe is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. I highly recommend giving this local spot a try!

Out of 5 Cleanliness ?? Service 3 Food 5 Atmosphere ?? Price 4 When I went, they had only the front door open. The interior is blocked off by a table and I'm not sure if they are still serving hot food. So I can't relay on cleanliness or atmosphere. The drinks are strong and tasty! My friend loves this place and recommended it to me. I've gone back twice already. Service is okay... the guy (I think is the owner), doesn't have the best customer service skills but he's not mean either. Just kinda curt but he makes an awesome tea. Would recommend if you are ok taking your tea to go!

And prefer it over many other Asian cuisines.* The reason I chose M's Kitchen over two other Taiwanese restaurants in the area? So many more vegetable dishes! And wow, am I completely grateful I did! We arrived on a Saturday evening, and the server and chef were both in the kitchen. The server came over and gave us menus before getting our drink orders. She was prompt in a very caring manner without ever seeming rushed. She had lots of suggestions as we asked questions about the menu. At some point, the chef was sitting with us, and she asked him clarifying questions for us. She even went back into the kitchen to find out which vegetables were the freshest (which I appreciated)! We ordered a cup of ginseng and goji berry chicken soup, chicken cream corn soup (with egg), ong choy with garlic, walnut shrimp, crispy tofu, and green scallion pancake. As each dish came out, it felt like different instruments in an orchestra being highlighted as they wove into the tapestry of the music. The ong choy built onto the soup, the crispy tofu onto the ong choy and soup, and so on! Until there was this grand harmony of pulsating flavors and textures! I thoroughly enjoyed each dish! I only wish I had a bigger appetite so I could eat more and faster! The server helped us to pack the leftovers. We spoke about how traditional Chinese and Taiwanese food get lost in the mix of more modern and fusion recipes and restaurants. I am also a loving fan of mom and pop dining because it reminds me of the many meals I have been gifted by the parents of friends and friends who have opened their homes and hearths to feed and nourish me in my life. I love feeling like I am visiting someone's family and sharing a meal together. This is how M's Kitchen felt for me! I am planning how many meals I can have here and who I can invite to experience the deliciousness soon! Please consider visiting! Even if you haven't tried Taiwanese food yet, this is a wonderful spot to start with!

Sad to see that their last day is May 11th. Would highly recommend people to try before their last day. Our latest visit was during lunchtime on a weekday. We were greeted upon entering and were told to choose whichever table we wanted. We ordered a Wintermelon Tea, Fried Pork Chop Rice, and the Century Egg Tofu. Food and tea came out quickly. Everything was so good and felt like comfort food that family would make. The pork chop was seasoned well and came with a tea egg, and vegetable sides of broccoli and tomato as well as soup. The tomato side reminds me of this tomato egg that we eat often. The century egg tofu was delicious. The tofu had a great texture -- soft, creamy, but also dense. The sauce that it came with was sweet, salty, and garlicky. The century egg was good. The winter melon tea was light on ice, well-balanced, and not too sweet. Overall, giving Formosan Restaurant a 5/5. Wish we started coming here sooner. Staff are nice, service is quick, prices are great, and the food is delicious. It was absolutely delicious, and the 50% sugar level was perfect. It was just sweet enough to bring out the flavors without overpowering the tea itself. The mango and guava notes were a bit subtle, but they paired wonderfully with the delicate oolong tea, creating a refreshing and well balanced drink. The lychee jelly was also a great addition, adding a little extra texture and sweetness with every sip. I'd also say this jelly was softer than the typical jelly I've gotten, which I really liked. The shop can get pretty busy, probably because they really do offer a little bit of everything. Besides drinks, they have a food menu that seemed surprisingly popular during my visit. I saw plenty of people ordering snacks and meals, and everything coming out looked and smelled amazing. I'll definitely have to come back and try some of the food for myself next time.
