And most of it is small, hard pieces you can't even stick your fork in to. If I would've seen it while I was still in store, I would've returned it for sure but I ordered via app, picked up and left. Overall, great drinks, service and app. I especially love the rewards program (although annoying to have to say your phone number aloud every time), but worth participating as they have rewards not just for spending money on a certain amount of drinks, but offer discounts during seasonal changes , new drink launches, birthday. Those discounts get me in like half the time and a great way to encourage people to try to drinks. I typically get boba drinks less sweet down 1 or 2 levels but for this place I can enjoy drinks as the lowest sweet level, no ice, top it off and it's a good level of sweet. I like everything I tried so far: - peach me sweetea - main go to - bootea shaker - taro blended - honeydew - matcha strawberry (new addition which reminds me of boba guys' popular drink) - watermelon heaven I actually don't add boba to my drinks especially when they already have fruit in them so I don't have much to say about the actual boba but I feel they give you plenty of fruit in the drinks that include them. I came on grand opening day and I've been coming back since! On opening day, the line was wrapped around the building. The staff were really good about taking precautions and having customers socially distance. It was a short wait in the line, but not too bad. I've always been a fan of the peach me sweet tea but I recently tried the seasonal pumpkin pie milk tea. I'm not a milk tea drinker, but I absolutely love this drink! It has the taste of pumpkin, but it's not super strong, just enough to keep you wanting more. I hope it stays around for a while because I'm definitely coming back. Tastea in Anaheim...YES YES YES!!! I came in on a Friday night and it was busy with a line in the front of the store. Wait time wasn't too bad. Once we got in, it was nearly IMPOSSIBLE to hear the person at the counter due to the LOUD music. I am not saying don't play music but when it's loud and the blenders are all running, it's really LOUD there. I gave my order to the guy 2x and he still couldn't hear me. What we ended up doing was writing it out on a text and then showing it to him. Their other locations don't operate this way but I get it, they are new to the area and have all new employees. The poor guy was so nice but just couldn't hear our orders. Super fast service, the drinks are delicious (my go to is the golden milk tea and popcorn chicken)! It's next to a Vietnamese sandwich place that I have yet to try so the area is pretty packed since they share the space together. Parking can be a little bit of a pain depending on the time of day you are going. But I would definitely try to come here and download the app for extra goodies! read more

I went to Tastea because I love their drinks. However, upon arriving today the doors were alreadt locked and closed at 9:50 pm. The employees saw me and another group of people whom arrived, but ignored us . They were keeping their heads down too busy closing. Not even acknowledging us, the customers... Matcha milk tea is my usual when craving a milk tea at Tastea. However the female employee who made it this morning (9/12) failed to even get close to my expectations. I love Tastea drinks especially because you can adjust the sweetness and that is important to me when you are trying to cut sugar but want a refreshing drink. I used to really like Tastea a long time ago. But now I am sure they use different cheaper ingredients. I used to love their ohlala and coconut milk tea but I recently got them and they tasted vastly different and definitely not real fruit. Its taste nothing like I remembered... I tried them again different location and it was the same. I am not sure when but they changed their ingredients.... They used to use real fruit as and related fruit juice, and I am convinced they dont anymore. Not to mention their absolutley ridiculous prices and they now use cheap nasty imitation chemical stuff that tastes nasty and like chemicals.... First time here, there were TONS of bugs at the pickup area. On the counter, on the shield, on the trashcan, it was pretty gross. Second time here, no bugs, but husband found at least 6 pieces of (hopefully) the avocado seed in his drink. Made his drink less enjoyable for sure. read more

Tastea has been a regular boba spot for me since the early 2000s. When I found out they were in my neck of the woods I was excited! A few weeks ago, I downloaded the app because another location was only accepting online orders at the time. I was about 5 minutes away so I thought why not put in my order through there. We ordered the seasonal watermelon drink and a Jasmine Sunrise. Both were good, refreshing, and welcomed for this hot day in CA (low 80s). I understand the app might not be entirely accurate with timing of the order but there were a few flubs with my experience visiting this new location. What I hoped would be an easy in and out experience took much longer, and after some back and forth. 3:09pm Placed order 3:14pm Anticipated time order would be complete 3:17pm Checked on order as my name hadn't been called yet and overheard they were just starting it, was asked to wait as they're getting it underway 3:27pm About 10 minutes later, I asked them the status of the order again (people who ordered in store were walking away with drinks already)... this time they said it'll be coming up because there was a mixup with my order 3:30pm I was presented with a Jasmine Sunrise and another drink that looked nothing like the watermelon seasonal drink. It ended up being their cantalope drink so they said I could keep it and asked I'd wait for them to redo my order 3:34pm Eventually got out of there For a newer store, I imagine they are ironing out some kinks still. I was looking for popcorn chicken but I don't think they have it. I thought I smelled something but it might be the Wingstop right next to it.
