The workers are nice here. The girl made my drink super fast, I ordered the strawberry milk tea and it's super yummy :D.. I like how the menu tells you how many calories in the drink. I like the big cushion booths- it gives a comfy place to study :)

Tastea is a tried and true boba spot! I like that they have a variety of drinks to choose from and you can adjust the level of sweetness and ice for most. You can also opt for non-dairy milk options. These guys offer a BIG 32 oz. cup, something you don't normally get at other boba shops! Sometimes they even have special drinks available for a limited time only. This particular location in Mesa has a great interior space. It has ample seating for a casual boba date with friends or a significant other. The prices aren't too steep, and the drinks are always made to my liking. They can adjust for you if needed. The parking lot outside isn't the biggest, but each time I've been here, it has never been an issue. Cheers to your boba fix!

7.20.25 - Stopped in for drinks and snacks. I don't believe I've been here before. It's a large space with plenty of seating. The girl taking our order was friendly and everything came out pretty quick. We ordered popcorn chicken, calamari, horchata milk tea and two fruit teas. I think one was mango. I can't remember the other. The popcorn chicken was good too. Comes with a sweet spicy sauce and a dry spice dip too. I don't eat calamari but my friends liked it. Horchata milk tea was pretty good! I would get this again.

Surprisingly pretty good. I'm a fan of their avocado smoothie. I'm not sure how much avocado they put in there but it feels like a generous amount as the smoothie is really creamy. I also like their fruit teas. The large is really large just fyi. I recommend following the workers recommendations for levels of sweetness, been good each time :)

Weeee finally Tastea in Arizona! Taste used to me one of my favorite boba spots in California about 15 years ago, I know now there are so many new boba spots but I wanted to try! I got my classic milk tea, and it was so good. I just love their creamy and deep flavor of tea, and it's so good! And i got "large" and was surprised at their large is mega size lol well I liked that I got to drink more boba, but well just beware, it's huge lol And when I went there, their boba tasted like not fully cooked, it wasn't soft enough! Hope they cook boba well consistently! Anyways love it!!

I was in the area, and tried out this location. It's spacious and have a better vibe than the Glendale location. Same great service though. I tried the green mambaa for the first time. It presents well. Great tasting. But I'll go back to my chamango! I love that drink!!

The Summer Special was a Matcha Coconut drink that I was curious to try. Instead of my usual Peach Me Freezie or Matcha Strawberry, I went for the special. Unfortunately, it was more coconut than a mix of matcha. Next time, I'll just order my usual.

Who went to Tastea twice just in the last week? Me! I feel like they're close to knowing me and my order at this point lol. Ordering from here never disappoints and I love the addition of the cheese foam as a topping. Yum! Tastea has been a nice addition to the East Valley and to Mesa's growing Asian District. This 25 year franchise got its start in California and serves up smoothies, tea and coffee drinks. I have been enjoying coming here during our hot AZ summers for a one of their refresher drinks. This location is very spacious and has plenty of room to hang out with friends or to do some networking. Tastea has a numbers of flavors on their menu to choose from. Some of them are seasonal. I enjoyed stopping in for a mango green tea and their watermelon heaven over the summer. I don't like my drinks overly sweet and like that I can adjust the sweetness level. The staff has always been super nice whenever I come here. The parking area isn't very large and can be a little tight at times.

Really cute, tastea(see what I did there?) , boba place! Has an excellent menu option from milk teas, lemonades, smoothies, and more! The service was good. They did forget my honey boba but quickly fixed the error. We got the strawberry smoothies and the yummy gummy smoothies. I added honey boba. It was delicious! The yummy gummy has some peaches pieces and the strawberry has some strawberry pieces. My kids didn't want the strawberry pieces so they were able to leave them out of theirs. They were also able to adjust the sweetness level of the yummy gummy which was perfect as it wasn't too sweet. My niece got the lychee peachee and it was also very good! I will definitely be back to try something new!

Stopped by Tastea with some friends after dinner during their grand opening week. The staff was warm and welcoming. I saw a sign for White Rabbit drinks and was immediately drawn to it. White Rabbit is nostalgic for me and brings back great memories. White Rabbit was a childhood favorite that I hadn't had in years. I opted for the White Rabbit matcha and my husband went for the taro fantasy both with crystal boba. Both drinks were tastea! Although I enjoyed the WR matcha, I would have preferred a stronger WR flavor. It was subtle. Regardless, I look forward to returning and trying more flavors!

The drinks here are very tastea! The white rabbit drink really tasted like white rabbit. The fresh watermelon frozen drink was so refreshing. With real watermelon for sure. I was a big fan of the sea salt jasmine as well. The food was ok, quick finger foods. Chicken and fries were mediocre. The shrimp was not bad either. Churros were kind of just an alright filler. 5 stars for the drinks. 3 stars for the food. But the drinks for sure were good! read more

I go to the Tastea in glendale all the time and was so excited to see them open one in Mesa. I went asap for soft open and it was just as good as it always is, their green boba is honestly the best and softest i've ever tried. Workers are kind and pretty fast, they made all our drink customizations perfect, great for studying since they have wifi. Sooooo worth a stop, especially after dinner at Jinbbq! read more

The day has come. Tastea Mesa is finally open. I made a visit on their soft opening day, and everything came out perfect from service to food. I was greeted warmly bu the staffs as soon as I walked in. Always go with my usual Peach Me sweet tea, when the name says sweet it really means it's sweet. Fries and popcorn chicken were fried to perfection. For the fries I chose sour cream and onion seasoning powder, the sweet-and-sour sauce complimented it well. The portion size were generous. The karate chicken didn't disappoint, I have had better. I love how they offer a variety of spice levels. Since they are now open in my city, I can finally go back to try more of their selections. read more

I got the white peach tea and fries, and the drink was super refreshing BUT THE FRIES WERE BOMB! I got the fries with their highest spice level (5) and it was exactly what I needed! Still new so I guess I would suggest waiting before going. They messed up my drink. Suppose to be 32 oz but got the smallest cup, and asked for boba, but got none. Made my little brother go back. Coming from California, Tastea has always been a staple there growing up! Was excited to see another location open up in Mesa, I know they have one in Glendale too. This location use to be a tacky tiger themed boba stop. Tacky tiger has transformed into a tasty-tea and holy hell am I impressed. I ordered the oh la la, mostly because I wanted any excuse to say that to a stranger with a straight face. It was pineapple, it was coconut, it was strawberry, and as the kids say these days - it was giving. The drinks are made fresh and taste so good! The specialties are on the sweeter side so I suggest medium sweet. Very good drinks and they have food too so that is a plus. The inside of the store is asthmatic and has plenty of seating, could be a great place to study or do work. read more

Service is good, ambiance is ok, drinks were decent. The table we waited at for our drinks was quite unstable...I only slightly leaned on it with one elbow and it lifted off its other legs, like it was getting ready to flip. The 5 other tables they have looks to be all the same type of table, so be careful you don't do what I did with any food or drinks on them because you're sure to knock everything over. Fyi, opening BOGO does not apply to coffee drinks. read more

OMG I THINK IM IN LOVE. The boba was perfectly chewy and the drink HIT THE SPOT. I got the Peach Me Sweetea drink and nearly cried of happiness. The workers are kind and actually look like they enjoy their job- unusual for food related customers service jobs. I love the vibes here as well. Plenty of people were meeting up there and others working on their laptops solo. We were meeting with our realtor and it was a good spot to fill out some paperwork with him and chat. The 2 baristas I interacted with were friendly and answered my questions about menu items. Drinks were made was speedy and bagel came out before burrito. I was told they were making the batch of vegan "steak" so I was given a heads up. All good things. For the drinks, I really liked them. The flavors all worked. The matcha latte was smooth and delicate. Not obnoxiously sweet like some coffee shops. I ordered the hazelnut cookie latte and it was better than I expected, sweet but again not overly sweet. Both with Oatmilk. I knew the Nile was a vegan place, and used to be called Volstead. I'm not vegan but always willing to try out vegan places. I ordered the breakfast sando w/ bagel and the breakfast burrito w/ steak. Both were good but I learned that I don't like the taste or consistency of vegan eggs, so that part I took off the bagel. However the hashbrown, vegan sausage patty and cheese remaining were yummy! Luckily the burrito didn't have the eggs in it and I'm glad it didn't. For me, the burrito needed a salsa or sauce inside. They have Cholula available on the side, but it needed more flavor in the burrito itself. I took the burrito home and reheated in toaster over for lunch, added some green tomatillo/avocado sauce and then it was perfect. I hope this downtown Mesa gem keeps going strong as a small, local place since there are so many Starbucks already no one really needs more of that. I'll definitely be back for music shows on the other side of the building, and now I can add coffee as reasons to stop by during the day.
