    Stir-fried green beans
    Lauren W.

Having recently moved in the area and being so close to this restaurant, I knew this spot was going to be a fast favorite with my family after our first visit. Knowing we were going to return multiple times, I decided to try a majority of this menu before writing my review to really capture how great the food is here: -Hand pulled chicken breast / sliced beef shank: very soft noodles! You can watch them being made from scratch through the open view kitchen window. Bonus: free noodle refills are available if you ask! -Pork soup dumplings: delicious! The quality of these soup dumplings is similar to others I've tried at other restaurants. -Crispy wonton: very delicious, so crispy on the outside with steaming hot and delicious meat on the inside -Orange chicken: this seems to be a very popular dish and rightfully so! The chicken is lightly breaded and the sauce is not overpowering. What impressed us is that there were orange peels included in the dish! The orange fragrant notes are very obvious in the dish and it's quite delicious -Stir-fried green beans: easily one of their best dishes, this is such a simple dish but the seasoning is perfect everytime we order and small pieces of meat are included! -Chicken fried rice: a favorite that always gets reordered, it's also a simple dish but the flavoring is quite savory -Chicken lo mein: same seasoning as the fried rice but with noodles, also tasty! -Mapo tofu: this is a very fragrant dish, plenty of tofu provided as pictured. I was given a heads up that the spice level of this is around a 5/10, but to me with low spice tolerance this was more of a 8/10 for me. This is still delicious nonetheless but since spice levels can't be adjusted with their dishes, I would rather try other dishes. What I would like to try but cannot with a low spice tolerance: spicy popcorn chicken. I was told the spice level of this dish can only be handled by customers who really enjoy spicy dishes, as this is seasoned with a type of spice that lingers in your mouth and cannot be quenched with water. The service is always friendly and quick, and since their opening earlier this year, we have seen numerous improvements to the space (including upgraded tables, chairs, cutlery and cups). We noticed a new beverage bar being set up so we're excited to see what's new and upcoming with their menu in the future! This restaurant is always booming with business, with rush hour seemingly always starting around 6pm. It's wonderful seeing so many customers stopping by for a visit because their food really is worth trying out at least once!

Tablet for signing in. The party size is a drop-down menu and the rest you have to type in.

This place is good! We went on the recommendation of a friend, and I'm glad we did. Parking was a little tight but there were spots in the lot available when we went on a Sunday afternoon. The place was pretty busy, we were a party of two and they made us sign in on an giant tablet and wait for a table to be available. Once seated, they brought us some water cups; these were a kind of ugly plastic, felt really cheap and were unpleasant to drink from. Would have rather had glass. The vibe was also a little hectic, a little loud and busy. Finally, we got to the food! Which was excellent. We got the popcorn chicken, which came with a lot of spicy peppers and had a good bite to them. It came with white rice and a small amount of broccoli. We also got the short rib soup. The broth looked like it would be thin (very light colored) but it tasted great and full. The only real vegetables were the bok choy, I would have appreciated if there was a little more, but there was plenty of short rib and noodles; I was very full by the end. Overall had a great experience, would definitely go back if we're in the area again.

Even Better the Second Time! This was my second visit since they opened, and the flavors have leveled up significantly. Everything tasted even better than I remembered: * Soup Dumplings: Absolute perfection. The broth-to-filling ratio was spot on. * Fried Rice: Deliciously seasoned and perfectly cooked. * Ramen: The stars of the show--incredibly fresh noodles and a rich, flavorful broth. Beyond the food, the service remains great. The staff is consistently attentive, and the food comes out fast. It's rare to find a spot that improves this much after the grand opening, but they are definitely doing everything right. Place is simple and tables are long so you might share with others not bad at all.

    Shrimp and pork soupy dumplings

I was so excited to try this place and was reading Yelp reviews and looking at their entire Instagram. Well you walk in and they don't have working AC and they have a bunch of junk in the corners. You need a code to use the bathroom and the view is all traffic. They should figure some way to decorate the windows so guests could look at something pretty. Their parking lot should be converted into outdoor dining and build some grass walls and garden features so we have something nice to look at besides junk in the corners and traffic. There was no music and no beer or wine so maybe they could convert this to a BYOB? We ordered 2 soupy dumplings to get In and out since no AC. The dumplings don't have a thin or delicate wonton like wrapper and have a thick dough skin like a ravioli. Some had soup and some were over handled so the soup leaks onto the plate. Both the shrimp and pork dumpling and the pork dumplings both had the same problem of lacking soup inside of them. The dumplings are as big as golf balls so imagine shoving a big meatball into your mouth with no space to chew or breath because your mouth can't open any wider and it is full of a gigantic dumpling. When you can finally manage the gigantic dumpling in your mouth and you bite down if the dumpling does have the soup the soup squirts out of your mouth. I suggest making them smaller and more manageable...

Pork bao. It tastes more like beef, not pork. It was good, just not my favorite

Delicious noodles and soup dumplings! Will be back to try other menu items. We sat at the bar and it was fine, there's no reservations so be prepared to wait, but they do get you in and out pretty quickly. We loved it and will be back !

THANK YOU Yelp... you did it again! Ya'll lead me in the right direction and did not fail me!! OMG... I'm rather speechless of how good this place is but instead I'm going to share how wonderful of an experience I had. First and foremost the service. The service was FANTASTIC! I immediately felt welcomed. My server (whom I'm going to assume is a manager or even the owner) was spectacular. He took his time to explain the menu in detail and even made suggestions on how to better eat the dumplings with a combo sauce! I had the Dan Dan Noodles, spring rolls and the shrimp/pork soup dumplings. Everything they make is fresh! And proof is in the pudding. WOW!!!!! I was all by myself and still managed to eat it all. I was FULL but I didn't care. This was about a week ago and I'm still thinking about my delicious meal. I told all my friends about TastiGo and I'm planning a trip next week with a good friend! I'm over the moon excited about coming back!!!

    Short rib noodle soup

Wow! This is quite the upgrade to the corner of 27th and 27th. We went a few nights ago and it has a very casual vibe with communal tables. Oscar seated us right away and we had a clear shot to watch the noodles being made in the kitchen. We both had the short rib noodle soup and shared the shrimp and pork bao. I didn't catch the gentleman's name but thanks to the staff member who came by and gave us the recommended ratio for the sauces 80% vinegar sauce, 10% soy, 10% chili it was a perfect complement to the baos, 10 out of 10 would recommend! There was not a lot of meat on the short rib noodle soup but the broth and noodles were so good it wasn't an issue. I didn't finish mine and wasn't sure how good it would be the next day. Fast forward, it was divine. All in all, I'm so glad they're part of the grove now because I will absolutely be going back. Maybe tomorrow. It's so good.

This may be the best Chinese in Miami! After all the rave reviews, we stopped by for dinner. The restaurant was at capacity, with a decent wait list. It was worth the wait. Excellent chicken lo mein, juicy soup dumplings. the service was excellent too! They offer beer but no wine (yet)!

    Andrew P.

Finding good or even decent Chinese food in Miami always proves to be difficult, but my Chinese friend who lives here had us come here since he's already been before and thinks it's decent enough to return to. We both got beef noodle soups and shrimp dumplings (they were out of pork and beef sadly). The flavors were all pretty good overall. Definitely a little bit pricier than usual, but I think they can get away with it based on flavor and scarcity. I actually really liked the dumplings, however I wish they gave us a bit more quantity in the soup and more meat in general.

    Jessica W.

The food was delicious, and the service was warm and attentive. We ordered Dan Dan Noodles, Mapo Tofu, Pork Buns, and Shrimp Soup Dumplings and every single dish was absolutely amazing! We will definitely be back!

Just ordered take out, waited awhile. Got hyped up seeing the crowd of people however I got home and i'll still starving. The kung Pai chicken im ready to drive back to the place and tell them. The orange chicken is way worse than a food court

This is a nice new spot for authentic Chinese food, they make handpulled noodles. I ordered the Spicy popcorn chicken and it is to die for, crispy, well seasoned spicy and leaves your mouth with that szechuan numbing deliciousness, that makes you eat more and huge portions, I ended up taking home. Also tried the beef shank soup with the fresh pulled noodles. Very subtle flavors and clean broth, noodles were chewy and delicious woud come back to try their other menu Items. The staff were friendly and will answer questions and will be helpful to recommend dishes, very clean and minimalist, and quite fast service.

This is the second time I've ordered from this place. They got my order wrong completely the first time, and I just went back and they got the order wrong again, adding toppings I specifically said I don't want, as I have an allergy so now I can't even eat it. Very disappointed. Won't return

Dan Dan noodles had so much flavor, chili beef dumplings were thick and juicy, and the pork and shrimp dumplings were cooked perfectly. However when my fiance asked for a check all we got was one of the handheld devices with the total. I thought it was strange when the server said tipping was optional after the tap, and the options were 1%, 3%, and 5%. Since the food and service were great, I wanted to tip 15%, so I changed it to a custom value and did my own math. However when I got my printed receipt, there was a 20% service fee, plus my custom tip of 15%. Being from LA, when restaurants have the mandatory service fee, they usually tell you at the host stand or after you just sat down. I felt like this place was shady although it is in their fine print on their menu. What the server could have done is said "service fee is already included," after the tap, not "tipping is optional." I did like the service, but the 35% tip was not well deserved. I didn't feel like they went above and beyond and like I said, there's a special type of mannerism that I feel was a huge miss about the service fee, which could of been handled more professionally.

I had the tofu, fried oyster mushrooms and the green curry with shrimp. Everything came out fast and was delicious. It's definitely not the best Thai food I've ever had but I loved the service, the vibe and it fulfilled my Thai craving. The beef was perfectly stewed and seasoned...easily the highlight of the visit * Basil duck (9/10): Fresh, crispy, and paired beautifully with the basil. Super flavorful * Fried rice (5/10): Not my favorite, but still decent overall * Pad Thai (7/10): Tasty and satisfying, just not particularly unique compared to others I've had * Passion fruit sake: Perfect balance between the sake and the sweetness of the passion fruit. We went on a Saturday night and were initially told it would be about a 40-minute wait. A month ago I wanted to go again and remembered that there was more than one location. Came to find out one closer to me situated across FIU on 107th ave. All of the sudden the 107 in the name made sense. I asked if that location was the 'OG', and they confirmed it was and hence the seemingly random name. Service was good. There's a mix of regular folks and students (both servers and dining), which ensures pricing remains reasonable in order to cater to student budgets. I found pricing to be the same at both locations. I ordered the same Mama Pork Fried rice with an extra of shrimp, and I have to say, it was just as delicious as the Gables restaurant. I went again just yesterday, and food was just as delicious. I can't bring myself to order any other dish because it's so delicious. Dish flavor, look and texture are consistent too, not just within the same restaurant, but at least across those two locations I've visited, and I've attended twice to both locations ordering the same fried rice - it is always 'identically delicious'. I tried my friend's dishes, and they were all good, and while they wouldn't be my choice, they were all yummy. Their dishes tend to be a bit on the gooey side, but I love that, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I found my new favorite Chinese restaurant. The ambience is basic, but definitely a more elevated look than that of your typical Chinese restaurant. I highly recommend

Rating: 5.0 Been a…read morehuge fan of the Iron Chef show since I was a kid and my favorite has aways been the Japanese Chef Masaharu Morimoto! And since experiencing his Disney Springs restaurant Morimoto Asia, I had been looking forward for him to come to Miami. This was a couple of years back during the cooler season in Miami. RESTAURANT: I just know that this location is going to be beautiful. Chef Morimoto restaurants are worldwide and so I was not disappointed to see how beautiful this restaurant was and how perfectly complemented the vibe of the Wynwood scene. The restaurant doors open to the street, which was perfect during our winter visit. Inside is an open floor plan with a variety of seating options from the izakaya style table, banquet dining against the wall, to the huge bar. There are even covered seating outside that reminded me of New York. Decor is both minimal but with burst of colors with his signature wall art and backlit panels against the wall. And ofcourse, it won't be an authentic Japanese restaurant without the a display of hyper-realistic food models which can be found as soon as you enter the restaurant to entice your taste buds. Everything just looked sleaked and clean and love the pop of green from the huge fig trees. SERVICE: Service was amazing. From the moment we entered, we were greeted and seated right away for our reservation. Our server answered all of our questions and suggested some fruity cocktails. And lo and behold, owner Chef Morimoto himself presented us with our food and torched it right infront of us! He was so polite and humble and wonderful. We watched him moved from one side of the restaurant to the other with the endurance of a guy in his 20s and he's like 60 something! He did not stop. It was such a treat to have him in our table and how he indulged us when we chanted "Iron Chef! Iron Chef!". It was an amazing experience. FOOD: The menu have the right amount of options, from finger food to ramen, sushi and not to mention the drinks. For starters, pork belly and soft shell crab bao and bbq ribs. Deliciousness! The buns warm and pillowy. The pork, so tender. But that soft shell crab...that made me want to slap someone it was so good. Flavorful, no fishiness whatsoever, crunch on the outside and just happiness on the inside. I will eat a million of these. Then my friend ordered some Yakitori fresh from the grill: chicken, pork belly, shrimp, wagyu. They were simple, fresh and so fingerlicking good. Then the ramen; tonkotsu and gyukotsu. On this cold evening, it was exactly what we needed. These two huge bowls we passed around our table of six. The broth were divine! The pork belly was so delicate that it melts in your mouth. The beef falling off the bones were so tender and delicious. Sushi rolls: spider roll and the surf and turf. The spider roll with that soft shell crab was bomb. But the that A5 wagyu surf and turf was the star of the show. It comes out as raw slices on a roll and Chef Morimoto came out and torched it himself next to our table! I don't know if it tasted spectacular because it's wagyu or because the chef himself had torched it but this was my favorite! Overall, this was the most memorable dining experience I've had in a long time. I am sure that fangirling over the Iron Chef was the main reason but it seems that everything just fell into place for us that evening. Parking was literally next door in the garage, super easy no drama. Service was next level, maybe because the boss was there but we were not going to complain. And the food, impeccable! Pricepoint is just reasonable considering the quality, quantity and the location. It is definitely worth the trip coming here and I can't wait to visit again soon to see if everything will be the same without the Chef Morimoto around. I have a feeling it will be just as wonderful.
