I am very upset with this visit. I have been to this location numerous times, and each experience has been excellent; however, this visit was not the same. I arrived with more than enough time to sit down and eat, as I usually do. Instead of having my food brought out on a tray, as is customary, I was handed a to-go bag with very small portions and cold food. While eating, I bit directly into a bone in the orange chicken. Despite the delicious food- the staffs serious hygiene issues make it revolting. My last night living in El Mirage we chose to order from our local go to. Btw- undeterred by the nose picker from my previous review. I opened my seaweed salad, ate one bite with my chopsticks, went for my second bite & a long black hair was attached to the seaweed . I opened my vegetable ramen and first chopstick grab- ANOTHER long black hair. Needless to say I threw it all away. What a waste of money & good food due to poor staff sanitation. Nothing was as pictured, the broth was bland, and the pork I was given was straight fat don't even get me started on the microwaved gyoza with no sides or sauces. Food was good. Fresh, hot. The Las Vegas roll was delicious. I had the Malaysian Noodles and the flavors were great,but I'm a lightweight so it was a bit too spicy. My husband had the house fried rice which was also pretty tasty. Egg rolls were perfectly crispy and the Las Vegas rolls were really delicious. They were crispy with a great sauce. New place for sushi in El Mirage for el mirage and surprise residents. Also has ramen wich I have not tried yet but am excited to try. I LOVE ramen but need to eat it while it's fresh and hot. I had a salmon roll and avocado roll to go. The fish was fresh and delicious. The avocado was also fresh and ripe. The only complaint I have is the rice was too mushy. I know sticky rice is supposed to be mushy to an extent, but this was way overdone. I was very pleased with the prices- very reasonable. Excited to come back. So cheap, so good. I got the Spicy Pork Tonkotsu and the Spicy California Roll. Ramen was about $12 and the 8-piece sushi was $8.50. Not bad at all. The portion sizes are big too. You can just get a main dish and be satisfied but I'm a big back so I got sushi too. It was so good and the service was very friendly and quick. I have been looking for a reasonably priced ramen restaurant with counter service and seating. In particular, I was looking for Tonkotsu with Chicken or Pork. I found NoRa Asian Fresh, which is located in El Mirage. The location is in a strip mall, and the neighborhood is transitioning. The signage is not good, making finding it a little tricky. On arrival, I saw two families eating ramen and poke. I ordered the spicy Pork Ramen Tonkotsu along with a shrimp tempura appetizer. The shrimp was good but a little oily. The Ramen came in a large bowl with a rich-looking broth, three large pieces of sliced pork, ample ramen noodles, corn, mushrooms, and other items found in good ramen. The broth was quite good, with a rich depth. I did not find it spicy. The noodles were done just right, and the pork tasted fresh. I was not thrilled with the corn. Two employees were working hard. A lady did double duty as a cashier and assisted the kitchen gentleman. It is an open kitchen, and it looks immaculate. The lady was delightful and brought the order to my table. It is one of the best ramen dishes in the Surprise/El Mirage area. The price was reasonable, and the ramen soup was delicious, with excellent service and quantity. They had a steady stream of customers with a lot of takeout orders. I plan to return and try the poke and one of the bowls.
