Amazing food and amazing service. The environment was clean and inviting. The egg drop soup and kung pao chicken are remarkable. Get the lunch special to get half a plate of rice and a side of your choice along with an egg roll and egg drop soup for $15! We shared 2 lunch specials and a plate of beef chow mein between 2 people and had more than enough to take home. Our total was $53. For 3 plates at $15-17 each + drinks and tax, not bad! Tonight I we had our favorite, "skinny noodles" with chicken. Delicious, tasty and never disappoints. Normally, to go along with the noodle dish is side of fried rice and Mongolian beef. Also a favorite. Wanted to try something different, so we ordered pepper chicken in lieu of Mongolian beef. Although not a huge fan of bell peppers, pepper chicken was on point. Two for effort We paid $125.00 for our take out, the rice was extremely undercooked, the orange chicken was old, I know restaurants recycle food but how many days? -that orange chicken was at least over a week old, the foo young was scrambled egg, it had a few stands of chop suey. Ordered a very simple order (Fried rice, and Orange chicken) over the phone, got told it would take 15 mins to be ready. It takes me approximately 20 mins to arrive hopeful I can just grab and go. Unfortunately upon my arrival I get told it'll be another 5 mins, no big deal but for the next hour and some change I receive no updates on when the food will be ready until I eventually asked for a refund and was told it'd just be another 5 mins. Wooowww, I can't believe I haven't been here. The customer service is excellent and the servers are nice. Most order take out but there's a good amount of space to sit and dine. The only complaint is the parking lot is very small and tight. It can get a little crowded. We ordered the two person family style meal with orange chicken and beef and broccoli. The only thing I didn't really like was the sliced pork bbq and the egg rolls that came with it, it looked like it was just sitting there and just reheated on the wok. The wonton strips that they give you as a little appetizer were a little stale :( I can't say much about the fried rice because we just had the plain rice... The best Chinese food I've ever had. For real. We ordered the family dinner # 2, it was $22 per person - there was only 2 of us. (I was hungry so no judgment lol). it came with wonton soup, cream cheese wontons, egg rolls, bbq pork for an appetizer. Orange chicken, beef and brocolli and rice (fried or steamed). We also added house noodles since we came with our toddler and also I was hungry. The family meal itself although it was meant for 2, would have fed 4. We took home enough leftovers to have another full meal and lunch for me :) The orange chicken was by far, best I've had. It was so crispy, I hate when places drench it in sauce and it's soggy... or worse they bread it so much there's a tiny chicken nugget in there. The flavor was also perfect, not too sweet or tangy. The brocolli and veggies in the beef and brocolli and noodles were so fresh and I like my brocolli still a little crunchy, which it was. My son is 2 and half, he LOVED the noodles and the wontons in the soup. The service was FAST, I mean we got our food super quick and they were really nice and kept checking in. We wanted some good authentic Chinese on a Sunday night but I was shocked to see how many places closed at 5pm or a bit later. It was about 630 when we were looking. Took a bit to find somewhere and that's when we saw this place with pretty good reviews. It's a drive for us (about 35 mins) but we thought why not. Once we got there we walked in and there were a good amount of people sitting and dining which gave me faith that it has to be good! The guy we talked to was very nice and friendly - he quickly took our order and said it would be a 20 min wait. So we waited in our car and then went and got our food. We ordered two white rice, Mongolian beef, pan fried pot stickers, and Szechuan beef to go We drove somewhere else to eat and that's when we discovered my white rice was instead fried rice. I was bummed because I was craving some good authentic, sticky white rice. The fried rice was okay - it at least didn't have many veggies in it so that was a a plus. The Szechuan beef was okay. It didn't really taste too strongly of it - more of just that subtle spicy taste and that was it. Beef as cooked alright. The Mongolian was alright too, but it was better than the Szechuan in my opinion flavor wise. We got one white rice and it was okay....nothing to brag about or really satisfy my craving. The pan fried pot stickers weren't very good. I only had one and that was enough for me. The portions were pretty good though and we finished maybe half of the entrees. I wouldn't drive that distance again nor would I put it high on my go to Chinese places. However, it wasn't horrible so if I was offered it or in the area I wouldn't avoid it on purpose. read more
