    Goat Biryani Marrow

Tiny little mainly take out place with 2 small tables. The goat biryani is amazing, there was only 2 bones in mine but both had some marrow in it! Yum! The rice is strongly seasoned and every grain is covered. Nice fluffy rice, sooo good. There was a bunch of orders before us so order ahead if you don't want to wait 20 minutes for food.

This place is owned and run by a family and they are very casual and accommodating if you are nice. So if you are a uptight person please do a take away. The kid at the reception is really nice and always greets with a smile. The food is really good and Fresh. All in all a very good experience.

The man at the front was welcoming and very kind. Nice little restaurant. There isn't very many tables which I don't really care about. I just moved to the area and who doesn't have trust issues with new places nowa days! HAHA! This place is 10/10 recommended!! I gratefully enjoyed the Nahari, Haleem, Chicken Biryani, and Naan

Try the gyros!!!! Gyro meat is fresh shaved off the spit! (YES!!!:)

The Lagman was incredible -- rich, flavorful broth, tender beef, and perfectly chewy noodles. The bread came out warm, fluffy on the inside with a crisp crust, making it perfect to dip in the broth. The kebabs were juicy, well-seasoned, and paired wonderfully with sliced onions and sauce. The service was excellent -- the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is welcoming, the tea complements the meal perfectly, and the portion sizes are very generous. Highly recommended! And more park lots . 5 of 5.

You absolutely have to try the boorsok--they're freshly fried, served hot with sour cream, and are incredibly tasty. The plov was also amazing, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The gyuru lagman itself was delicious, with great flavor and perfectly prepared noodles. The only thing that could be improved was the meat. It wasn't very tender, and it seemed like it either wasn't cooked long enough or wasn't the best quality. Aside from that, the dish was very enjoyable. Overall, it's a lovely place with great hospitality and authentic, delicious food. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes!

The fried tofu, fried rice and noodle dishes would highly recommend. They are our staple dishes. The industrial decor with open ceilings make the space appear open and spacious. The Din Tai Fung of Illinois is finally here!…read more My family and I have been chasing the high of Din Tai Fung's soup dumplings for years, but there has always seemed to be an absence of restaurants like this in the Midwest. Thankfully, Phat Phat stepped in to fill that gap. We drove 30 miles for a late lunch around 2:30 p.m. to hopefully beat the crowds. There's a huge parking lot in the back, the building itself is incredibly unique, and the interior is absolutely beautiful. It feels modern while still being warm and inviting. We wanted to try a variety of dishes, so we ordered two baskets of the Shanghai Soup Dumplings, the Enoki Mushroom appetizer, Chicken Fried Rice, Phat Phat Chicken, Nasi Campur, and finished the meal with the Mango Sago. Everything was incredible. The soup dumplings definitely filled the void that Din Tai Fung left behind. Every dish was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and served piping hot. The Mango Sago was the perfect palate cleanser and a refreshing way to end the meal on a hot summer day. The standout for me was the Enoki Mushroom appetizer. That will be a must-order every time we come back. We also have Indonesian family and have visited Bali, so we were excited to try the Nasi Campur. It was spot on. The satay is another must-order in my opinion. Our waiter was kind and attentive, and the rest of the staff were just as welcoming and pleasant. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we'll absolutely be back.

I'd arrived during the lunch rush, and there was line of folks both waiting to order and to pickup their orders. This is always a great sign in my book! The aesthetic of this space was simple yet thoughtfully decorated. The staff was also really kind and created a warm atmosphere. I really appreciated the simplicity of the menu and how there was a handful of items to order from rather than an overwhelming amount that can cause analysis paralysis. Check out how simple it is! There are four different entrees you can choose from; a kebab sandwich, roll, plate, or box. Onward to the proteins, where you also have four choices: chicken, beef, a mix of the two, or falafel. Then you pick your sauces, choose your vegetables, and BOOM. That's all you need today decide in the have the kebap entree of your dreams. I ended up ordering a beef roll, with garlic and spicy sauce, and all the vegetables minus tomato. I also added on fries and a drink for an additional $3.99. Despite how busy staff was with putting out order after order, I received my order within 5 minutes. And WOWZA was the kebap roll a fantastic size. If I wasn't so hungry, I would've eaten half and saved the rest for later!! The fries were a bit overdone for my liking, but they were freshly fried and made-to-order which I appreciated. The beef roll was fantastic. The ratio of meat to accoutrements was perfect and I loved the medley of sauces. I will DEFINITELY be ordering this meal again the next time I visit.

My recent visit to this restaurant was the first visit in over half a year. My last visit was quite a bit ago because I was upset at how poorly resolution was for a missed meal I ordered for one of my co-workers. This recent visit as of tonight will be my final visit. I try to see it through and remain a good patron of businesses I appreciate but good service must exist. Do I expect a business to get it correct all the time? No! But I do expect there to be some semblance of competency, grace and determination to find resolve where error was made. Tonight I placed an order for myself and my gf. I received an automated email response suggesting the order would take between 30-45 minutes, which is totally fine. I figured I'd allow some extra time before arriving. When I get to the restaurant, I'm told my order would be ready in another 15 minutes. While I was slightly upset, I didn't let it bother me. I just went back and sat in my vehicle for about 20 minutes. I came back into the restaurant and waited a few more minutes before being called to get my food. Upon stepping to the counter, the lady looked at the receipt for my food almost confused and said "sorry, there aren't anymore beef patties but I can swap that item with another side" I'm not certain if she was aware or not from the kitchen staff that this item wasn't present but it struck me as odd based on her reaction. More importantly, I'm more than upset now but I handle this situation as calm as can be, by pausing to think about how to respond. I choose a side to replace for lack of the beef patty but can't help but notice the price difference doesn't even align. Shortly after making a decision on item to swap, I ask how long ago did that item sell out today. She replies and says, "it's been sold out since around noon" and at that point I just try not to stare or show emotion. While she did apologize for this mishap, it just didn't go over well with me. The lack of communication prior, struggle to find proper resolution for this incident and the previous one. Do you not have a POS system which updates automatically against your live stock? Or being attentive to detail would have helped and a simple phone call would have sufficed had they known this. Btw, the previous incident was an order they forgot to give to a delivery driver, only to blame that driver. I had to drive to the restaurant to pickup my co-workers meal during a busy work day after they realized they messed up and actually left that meal on the side of one of their counters. This restaurant has pretty good food and options for food in general but that alone won't solve your problems running a business if you screw up and struggle severely with customer service. I've come here more than several times in the past but no longer will that happen.

The sauce is bright and tangy--obviously spicy, but so, so good. And there's really no place similar in this area. Paired with the rice and beans and cabbage helps tone down the spice. Goat Curry - So spicy but so flavorful! The meat is tender and it's addictive. Beef patty - This is different than others, and it seems deep fried where I'm used to baked. Always love a beef patty and our kids enjoyed it. Plantains - Our kids love plantains in whatever form. Plus, these aren't spicy so they eat them all. Mac and Cheese - I'm usually wary of getting mac and cheese for kids because it's bland and watery (my child's words not mine), but THIS mac and cheese was SO good! So much flavor and gooey cheese sauce. Both our kids loved it and said it was delicious. Easy win! Candied Yams - Of all the tasty things, this is probably my least favorite. Everything on the menu is packed with deep, rich flavor. But candied yams are just too sweet for me. I think people who like sweet things will love this, but my preference tends to lean less sweet and more savory. So if you're not huge on sweets either, maybe skip this and go for the other items. The staff here are so nice--we ordered with the high hopes of ox tail (one of the non-spicy items) but they were all sold out! My husband was so disappointed that she took pity on him and just gave him the sauce and bits and bones that were left because they couldn't sell it anyway. It was SO good. Almost better than the first time I remembered it. I could be entirely too full and still want a taste of these ox tails! Please never go out of business or change hands--this place is a gem.

Despite missing the gyro burger and the gyro cone, I ordered the gyro sandwich anyway, and we also got a chicken shawarma wrap, a hot dog with everything, and a hot dog with just ketchup. I don't know what "everything" means to Palooza, but it doesn't add up to a Chicago dog. No sport pepper? No celery salt? One sad tomato slice? It was an insult to the institution. Feels like they skimp on the fries too. The gyro also felt small compared to what you would get at any other place selling them. The chicken shawarma wrap just didn't taste fresh and was drowning in some kind of sauce. As we left, I asked my wife the question I always ask her when we try a new place. And no, we won't be back.
