This was super good. Definitely a hidden gem. I especially loved the LiangPi. Their portions are also surprisingly large and good value.

We ordered takeout this time, and the overall experience was great. We placed an order online, and everything was very neatly packaged and ready to go when expected. The food even travelled fairly well, such that it was still in good shape after traveling home. The restaurant itself is in a bit of a drab strip mall, but it's generally nicely decorated with colorful signage and a nicely kept interior. In terms of the food, the shrimp spinach dumplings were really nicely done, with lots of flavor and texture. My partner especially enjoyed the barbecue pork bao, which were nicely steamed with a very flavorful filling. The egg tart was good, but not really my thing. It had a bit of a caramelized sugar flavor reminiscent of waffles with syrup. The spicy oil splashed noodles, one of the noodle dishes on the menu, was generally lacking: some nice toppings, but not much flavor. Overall, this is a nice little place that seems to be fairly well run. I suggest going for the dim sum and giving up on expectations for anything on the menu that isn't dim sum. Find another restaurant for your main course.

Sometimes I find that food quality suffers a little by the time it gets home but that was not the case here. I was super impressed about how well packed it was and how warm all my food was when I opened it at home. The restaurant is very spacious with lots of tables available for smaller or bigger groups. Their service is quick both when you are dining in and for takeout. The staff is really nice and helpful in providing recommendations. The spicy dry chicken was very salty very spicy (not in a good way) and very dry. The appetizers we got were ok. The dumplings were just ok. Not amazing. The prices were fair. We fed four for 100.00 and had some leftovers. The noodles were probably my favorite. It looks like there are a lot of good restaurants in the area I would try a different one next time.

My husband and I ordered only one plate of Sunrise Chicken Dumplings here--yes, a tiny sampling of the menu. They cost $17 plus tax and tip. Please note that the dumplings that I as a real, paying customer received did NOT look like the dumplings that the Instagram influencers receive. Multiple 5-star reviews below were written by influencers who did Instagram collabs with this restaurant. (Btw, Yelp's policies do NOT permit influencers to write Yelp reviews for collabs.) Their Instagram reels and their Yelp reviews contain images of dumplings accompanied with beautiful plating with extra designs such as flowers. My dumplings had NO extra designs on the plate at all, even though I ordered one of the same flavors. (I acknowledge that some "regular people" Yelp reviewers seem to genuinely like this restaurant, depending on what they ordered.) As for the flavors of the dumplings, both my husband and I thought that the dumplings were definitely some of the worst that we have ever tasted in our lives. They tasted OK only if we doused them with sauce, and they were still NOT enjoyable to eat. My husband was very hungry from eating almost nothing all day, but between the two of us, we did not even finish our one plate of dumplings.

We got there at 4:40 on a Saturday and they open at 5. I'd say that's a good sweet spot although there was already a decent line when we got there so I'm sure it just depends! Such a simple dish but I could eat a VAT of that Roti app once a week for the rest of my life and be better for it LOL. It's seriously so good I crave it constantly. I tried out the lemongrass meatballs this time. They were SO GOOD. Normally I need a thick sauce with a meatball idk it's just who I am. These needed absolutely nothing. They were the perfect texture and I loved the crispy shallots. I've actually never had Khao Soi and man I have been missing out! The meat was seriously so tender I could not get over it. The flavors were perfectly married it was a great dish. The crispy shrimp was also amazing the pieces were massive and the SAUCE (lol) was so good. Pusadee's knows what they're doing. There is a reason why they're always so busy and I'm happy we have a place like this in the burgh!

The food was very good. The meatballs were dense and flavorful, and I loved the crispy shallots that came with them. Everything had such a great balance of flavors, and the portion sizes were really generous. The employees were a little lackluster, but honestly, the food and the aesthetics of the interior more than made up for that. Overall, I'd definitely come back!

The table was big, but there wasn't a Lazy Susan to spin things around, so I was only to eat predominantly from the dishes closest to me. P12 DUCK YOLK PORK RIBS - 17.95 This was my favorite dish of the night that I kept reaching for. The duck yolk crusted exterior provided a salty, eggy flavor that enhanced the juicy pork underneath. I'd come back and order a platter of these for myself. B12 STRING BEAN W. BEEF - 19.95 A classic string bean dish but with shreds of beef! This is a common staple, but one I continued to reach back for since the green beans were pretty crunchy and crispy, and the beef was pretty tender. V07 EGGPLANT W. GARLIC - 15 Pretty saucy eggplant that was fresh with the perfect custard-like flavor. It's a simple dish, but the stir-fried eggplant and the marinade went well with the minced garlic. We also got the (E12) Garlic Fish Filet, (C1) Chicken w. Basil & Garlic, and (B5) Beef & Watercress in Black Pepper Sc. I only had maybe a couple bites of those and can't comment too much since it's been almost two weeks. These dishes are a fan favorite among my CMU alumni friends. The food was good and legit with most dishes priced under $20. Definitely check it out if you're in the area craving Taiwanese food -- one of the best meals I had in Pittsburgh!
