Filet mignon and chicken sandwich is the best! Freaking life changer. Get it!
    Katrina N.

I owe this place many reviews. I've been coming here for a while now, and every time I take a bite, I'm reminded why. The sandwiches are amazing. The filet mignon bánh mì is perfection -- the meat is so tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Add in the XO sauce and mayo combo? It's like reaching heavens gate. I will focus on the mayo for a second and its the orangiest mayo I've ever seen. They must be using the richest, most golden yolks because the color and taste is unlike any other banh mi sandwich place. The grilled chicken is also bomb. You can tell it's fresh as It's juicy, well-marinated, and full of flavor. The price point is about the same as many good sandwich spots, but the quality here stands out. You can taste the care. The employees give it that true local, super mom-and-pop feel -- welcoming, hardworking, and consistent and that Mom and pop feel is another reason why I keep coming back And the bread? Light and crispy on the outside, soft and airy on the inside. The perfect crunch-to-fluff ratio. Honestly, close your eyes -- chef's kiss. It's the combination of amazing food and that genuine neighborhood vibe that keeps me coming back and the reason you all should be giving it a try.

    1. The sandwich had good grilled meat with crispy bread! The milk coffee was not bitter! 2. The spot has fast casual vibes! The interior is small! 3. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! It was ready in less than 10 mins! 4. There were only indoor seatings! There are not many tables! 5. There is a small parking lot and street parking available! Note: There is no restroom available for customers! Photo: Grilled Pork Sandwich and Milk Coffee

The bread is 5 out of 5. Soooo light but still crispy. The size is pretty generous too. The only thing is that the meat was fine. We got the grilled pork banh mi. I wish it had a bit more grill flavor. Veggies were standard. Space is small. They did have a parking lot in back with lots of spots.

Haven't been here for awhile and since was in the neighborhood, stopped by to grab their banh mi. Easy parking and quick & easy order with nice & friendly staff. Their banh mi is still consistent and good. The place still clean and got plenty of ready to eat packed to go.

I was in Garden Grove and was craving a banh mi, so I saw that VO Sandwiches was near me, so I decided to pop by. The restaurant is in a small plaza and there is plenty of parking around. I came right before closing and there was no one else, so I was able to order pretty quickly. I decided on a grilled pork sandwich. It did take a little bit of a time for the sandwich to come out, but I figured it was because I came so late in the day. There is also a small selection of snacks and drinks which I looked around while I was waiting. I was taking my sandwich to go, but there is 1 table in the restaurant. It's not really a place where you would eat there, more like a to go place, which was OK with me. As for the sandwich, I thought that the meat was really good. So flavorful and tender. They were also pretty generous with the meat in the sandwich. The bread was just OK, but paired with the meat, it was pretty good. I was sad that I didn't get a second one. I will definitely come back here next time my banh mi craving hits. I do want to mention that they do take credit cards, but I believe that there is a small charge if your transaction is less than $5. So, if you are paying by credit card, I would suggest making sure you get everything together to avoid the charge.

Wow.. I can't believe I've never eaten here. What a gem! The baguette is so light here. The grilled pork banh mi is the star here. The best one I've had in OC yet. So tender and juicy. And a lot of flavor. It was not busy at all when I came. The lady at the counter was very friendly. I've driven by many times but never stopped in till someone sent me a recommendation for banh mi. It's just your Vietnamese take out feel inside of the store. This place is a gem Recommendation: grilled pork banh mi

Walked in nervous because I knew I was going to be placing a big order. I spoke to someone over the phone, and he was really sweet. Upon arrival, the store was cute on the inside and very roomy! I loved it! I think Husband & Wife were both working, and they were totally patients with me. I had ordered 40 Sandwiches, 100 Eggrolls, and other items for us to share. Waiting at the counter he gave me a coconut jelly and pastry to try. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! Upon picking up my order, they were very helpful and walked me to my car! I got the following: 8 BBQ Pork 8 Grilled Chicken 8 Pork 8 Tuna 4 Veggies (no meat) I forgot which other kind I tasted, but none of them disappointed. I am happy to order again and will be back sooner than later! Thanks for having us!! EVERYTHING IS AFFORDABLE!!!! TRY EVERYTHING!!!!

Parking can be in the plaza they're located in or on the side streets of where you turned in. We came in on a Sunday morning and waited to be seated. I noticed a slow trickle of people coming in, eventually, filling every table. It was an easy, simple Sunday morning. The energy of the restaurant was very relaxed and not stressful at all. The tables and chairs are fairly old and well used. Our server had little to no words for us, which was fine. She gave us a kind look. We had ordered a breakfast burritos, eggs, bacon, coffees all around, and an omelette. The food came out a few minutes later. Very quick, but hot and crisp. I wasn't a fan of my latte and their house coffee was a bit watery. I did enjoy my breakfast burrito and bacon. My dad enjoyed his breakfast platter, too. My fiancé's omelette was okay and wasn't fantastic. We finished our meal rather quickly and left. It's nice to have a local breakfast restaurant that has been well loved by the neighboring residents. Definitely will be back again.

It had a Filipino sausage called longanisa which is slightly sweet, hash Brown, egg, cheese, garlic mayo, and banana ketchup (which is a popular Filipino condiment). As it came with a side of potatoes it was a very filling dish best shared. I also tried the lychee panacotta which was also delicious. It sat in a bowl of chia pudding with granola and fruit. The juice from the lychee may have slightly sweetened the pudding which was a nice surprise. The service was friendly and easy to get assistance.
