Tasty Yerevan is a small, no-frills Armenian spot tucked into a busy shopping center in Glendale. The menu is simple, but everything they make is really good -- the focus here is 100% on the food, and it shows. I've had both the pork bread shawarma and the pork lavash shawarma -- both are excellent, but I prefer the pork on bread. The rice is solid, good sides and good drink options too. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and the flavors are on point. If you love Mediterranean or Armenian food, this place is a must-try! Nothing fancy, just great food done right. read more

Hands down one of the best shawarmas I've had! The wrap was fresh and perfectly toasted, the meat was super juicy and flavorful, and the veggies tasted really fresh. This place is great! The interior is a little stark, somewhat utilitarian, but the kebab was INCREDIBLE! Very fresh and full of flavor. Beautiful veggies and succulent spiced pork. I tried the chicken shawarma, and it was pretty average. While I enjoyed the onions, the flavor was overpowered by too much cilantro. The fries were disappointing, they tasted mostly of oil and lacked seasoning, not even a hint of salt. I think pressing the lavash in a panini press would really improve the texture and bring everything together. read more

I really like this place. Big free Parking lot. Open late night. They even have the glass orange fantas. IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW. Few places in Glendale serve real Armenian food, this is one of 'em. Menu small and simple. Wish they were open later. read more

Couldn't put 0 star so 1 will do. This was by far the worst place I've ever eaten at in my entire life. They decided to charge me $30 for a $12 shawarma plate and still ended up giving me the wrong thing. The owner was just sitting in the corner of a restaurant with a big bowl of candy in his lap staring at me while I'm trying to eat my wrong food. Hole-in-the-wall kind of place. Price and food wise bit pricey side. compared to other Kabob places I ate. The guy did not seem too happy when I asked for no bell peppers. But he was nice about it. So service is alright there. My critics are about the food taste, quantity, and price. Chicken was a little dry side. Rice was a bit stale. Imo not worth the price I paid for. Just my opinion. We ordered Oh My God Roll - 10/10 seriously so good Spider Roll - this is my favorite roll and it was cooked perfectly. Since we ordered it to-go, the crab wasn't as crunchy but it was still very enjoyable and flavorful Volcano Roll - one of the best rolls. It came with a yuzu sauce I believe and that sauce is bomb Fire Cracker Roll - one of the best rolls, flavorful and love the fried onions King's Roll - pretty good roll, my parents loved this one We only tried their rolls this time, but will definitely be back to try some of their other items. Parking was easy and the person that took our order was helpful and friendly.
