I had a maintenance light come on and one of my tires had a small leak. I dreaded having to take my car in somewhere on my day off but was pleasantly surprised by the professional treatment I received. The mechanics checked everything out and saw that my oil was at 15% but didn't need an immediate change and my tire just had a screw in it and was easily repaired. This is the most awesome tire store I have ever been to. I'm from the Kansas City area and I'm going to Tulsa promoting a bodybuilding show. They open and saw me before 7 a.m. not only that they put me at the top of their list. They sold me much needed tires but also contacted Firestone in Kansas City to make sure I had free rotations Etc. I was wanting to get out of there so I could get to the after party for our show and they just gave me a car to make the party till my tires are done. This is going above and beyond I don't see service like this anywhere. Kudos to Tate Boys. I even like the fact I'm a Royals fan. read more

Tate boys was new to me when they opened there new store in BA. Let me tell you how nice it is to have a small town company that's truly cares about the customer. Started by having them fix a flat tire when I went to pay they shook my hand and said come see me when you need some tires. Which I did during my purchase I elected to take out the warranty. I never do this because it seems there is always a catch not here they replaced a tire for me no questions asked and at no charge not the industry standard pro rate fee like the rest of them. Since then they have been maintaining my work truck flawlessly at the lowest cost and with the highest level of customer service. I deal with Justin and he's a real superstar but after spending time at shop waiting on service to be done I have noticed that the entire crew gets it done. I had a flat tire Friday night and Stan stopped and changed my tire. He told me he worked at Tate Boys and to stop by because you might have used tires or could price a tire for me. I only stopped because I told him I would but I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The waiting room was clean and fresh smelling. The young man who helped me was patient and didn't try to pressure me into a purchase, he even went to see if ya'll had in used tires in my size. While he was away I was asked if I was being helped twice. Thank you for having such wonderful employees, even when they are off. The first time I went here I had excellent service but recently no so much.... I took my car in to have my chrome wheel ground and my tire resealed as the chrome has been corroding and I have to air my tire up every few days with the cold weather. I also needed an alignment done as well. I dropped my car off after Christmas knowing it would be a few hours as they were closed a couple days.... a few hours turned into 7! I was called an hour after I dropped my car off and they were telling me my brake pads were getting very low. To be expected since I have 77k miles and never have done a brake job. They just talked about the back so I asked about the front. I went ahead and gave the go ahead to do the back. Three hours later they called me back and said the front were low too so I went ahead and gave the go to change those too. I then asked...."you will have my car done before you close right?" And I was told yes. Mind you this was already 4 hours after I had left my car... the shop closes at 7 so about 6:30 my boyfriend and I decided to go ahead and drive up there since they almost close and I hadn't been notified... when we drive up my car is still on a rack. I ask if it's almost done and I'm told that the alignment and the wheel have been fixed but they are finishing up the brake job.... really?!?!? So we leave to grab some dinner. As we are about to head to the shop I get a call that they are almost done (45min later @ 7:30) and they want to go ahead and cash me out. Ummmm no I want to see my receipt first and talk about the work. When we arrive my car is on a DIFFERENT rack. "Why is is on a different rack?" "Oh the alignment wasn't done yet...." are you serious? Soooo I drop off at 12:30, at 1:30 you call about my back brakes, 4:30 finally call back about my front brakes. I show up at 6:45 and the wheel is done and the brakes are finished but the alignment isn't done?!?!? And to top it all off I am out of town and guess what? The low tire pressure sensor came on. So did you even work on my wheel? Because I still have the exact same issue as before.... and another funny thing. The guy who asked to cash me out before I got my receipt was very unsure about his role. When I asked if he was the manager he just stared blankly at me and looked at the girl next to him who said "he's the assistant manager". Unacceptable. I'll be in to have you fix what should have already been fixed but after that I'm never coming back. Update 1/5/2017 - I am pleased to say that Tate Boys made all efforts to solve the issue that I still had. read more

Tate Boys guys are awesome! They were able to get out son's car in quickly and diagnosed the problem. They got the car fixed and he was on his way the same day! The price was fantastic! Much more reasonable than the dealership we had used previously and much more knowledgeable. Everyone was very friendly. They have made him a regular customer! We spent about $1400 during the summer on tires and brakes but had a tire blow and the wheel bent as a result. It was a Sunday and Tate was closed so we went to another place, they informed us our tires in front needed to be replaced, that they were bald. They told us they should not have worn out that fast and informed us that sometimes if you haven't had an alignment that will make tires wear faster but not this bad. They said we should go back where we bought them. We went back to Tate and they just blamed us and any other company we mentioned that was associated with our car. They were very patronizing and rude and gave us a little credit towards the tire and wheel. I will never do business there again! If your a woman don't go alone because I feel they will take advantage and not stand by their work! I also found out one of their service techs had contacted my daughter( it was her car) and I find that very unacceptable! read more

These guys are top notch! I am from Austin, TX and was recently in the area visiting family. We had hauled our new to us pop up camper there for some family camping with grandpa. Unfortunately, we had a blow out on I-35 south of Dallas, but limped in on the spare. It was the weekend and everyone was pretty much closed and we were road weary. We waited until Monday morning to shop around and were surprised at the lack of trailer tires on hand in the area. We were to leave that afternoon for Arkansas to start our camping trip. After calling about 6 other places who either had no access to the right size trailer tire, or couldn't get them in sooner than 24-48 hours, my dad (grandpa) said to try Tate Boys. At the end of the call, I had an appointment in one hour to get both tires on the ground swapped out and send us on our way. Fortunately for Tate Boys, they have a local warehouse and were more than willing to make a 20 minute drive over to grab our new tires. We waited about 30 minutes in the store and my family made use of the popcorn machine, free coffee and the golf tournament on the TV. Very friendly employees there to boot. If I were a Broken Arrow resident, I'd go there for everything! Well done guys! read more
