Tatte is a great testament to Massachusetts's variety and love for breakfast. Most known for their Shakshuka, and their baked items, this is a solid place to start your day! The bread that they use for the shakshuka is pretty tasty and soft. The spices and blend for the shakshuka is very delicious! My only comment would be either having the ability to add-on eggs or have at least one more by default. The egg provides a lot of the balance on the dish and once I was done eating it I couldn't keep going. (To be fair, I didn't ask if I could get extra, but didn't see an option on the menu). Overall, this is a solid place for breakfast and I would stop by again! read more

This place lives up to the hype. So delicious! We got a chicken sandwich and a lemon tart and both were Devine.

I tried to order a decaf coffee. The girl working the register seemed confused and could only offer me a decaf expresso ???? (She had fluent English language skills). I said that was fine then she mumbled something else. I got frustrated at the service , told her to forget it. A manager , a lovely woman with not so good language skills saw the exchange , figured it out and came over and gave me two raspberry cookies as an apology. And because of that I will be a return customer. Cookies were very good, the chocolate rose pastry was delicious. Ambiance was was awesome. I thought I was back in Paris . I had been looking all over the South Shore for hamantaschen to no avail. I found Tatte online and tried to order some but they were out of stock. So I called the Downtown location and spoke to the manager. He went above and beyond to get me hamantaschen including getting some from a different location when there was a snafu with my online order. This bakery is incredible - the ambiance is beautiful, the pastries are fresh and high quality with a great selection. The croissant breakfast sandwich is the best I've ever had! Peach & Ricotta Tartin is also a great choice. The deliciousness of the food is unquestionable, but it's truly the service that has taken this place over the top. Everyone I've interacted with has been genuinely kind, and everyone is working as a team and executing flawlessly. Baristas are quick and talented. Cashiers are super friendly. Manager (blonde short hair) is very hands on and supportive. I never leave reviews, but this place is just doing it right and deserves recognition. The place had the most amazing looking pastry and I wish I had been able to try something but I was here strictly for breakfast and needed something with some sustenance. Traveled from out of town with friends to visit this spot. I would definitely not recommend. It was ridiculously over crowded. About 15 people in line to order and then over 20 in line to pick up your drink. After about 30 minutes we got our food. Breakfast sandwiches were mediocre, the eggs were bland, cheese was cold. The bread substitute that we asked for wasn't done AND we NEVER got our coffees. We stood there for an additional 15-20 minutes after complaining. All they would tell us is to wait until they called our names. They never did. Well... they yelled out our name, we got to the counter, and they claimed they never called us. So upset! After over an hour, we decided to leave without our drinks. Don't waste your time. You'll leave unsatisfied and upset oh and without your coffee. read more

I have been dying to try this bakery out and finally I got the chance too today. They have a good selection of fresh baked bread and pastries and the smell of the room was amazing. It's a very cute and clean place. They had menus on the table right when you first walk in. I don't think coffee so I didn't get any but the lol of the coffee menu seemed like a good amount. They had a long list of different flavors of coffee. Tatte Bakery is a huge Covid-19 superspreader site - the place was packed with almost every table full of people eating, drinking, and talking with NO mask on. I couldn't believe it - Covid has killed almost ONE MILLION AMERICANS and these business owners think dollars are worth more than lives. Terrible. For some silly reason they make you wear a mask while ordering but as soon as you sit down you can remove the mask because Covid only spreads when standing??
