Restaurants win awards for fantastic food, and this place was definitely was one would have expected........let's get that clear from the get-go. My wife and I made reservations for dinner as we have wondered about this place for some time. We were the first ones in the restaurant when they opened, but the kitchen was ready to serve and did not disappoint. We started with the Caesar Salad, which was a borderline work of art, and dressing that was utter perfection. For our main course, I had the lamb shank, which literally fell off the bone, and was cooked to perfection in a delightful gravy that was out of this world. My wife has the oso bucco, which was also cooked to perfection and fell off the bone as well. With both meals there were vegetables, and garlic mashed potatoes that were heaven. All in all, a ton of food.......When our server came back and asked if we wanted desert, I asked, "Are you trying to kill me?" Definitely going to be going back here! read more

This place is so charming! Great for a quiet, cozy nice dinner for a date night. It's fairly small and we loved the atmosphere and the friendly staff had us well taken care of. The same gentleman who greeted us was our server and from what I could tell very efficiently and kindly took care of the restaurant's patrons this particular evening. I went with the Chateaubriand Shitake Pasta. Quite tasty! I am a bleu cheese lover but my one critique is that I don't think the flavor goes great with the otherwise wonderful ingredients to this dish. Definitely do not come here if you don't have patience. Salmon was amazing, but service is extremely slow, even on a Monday night. Only 2 people running the place, and as another review states, we did feel ignored by the waiters as well. We waited 10 minutes after being seated just for our drink orders and 20 minutes at the end just to get our bill, another 10 minutes to bring the card back. Very small place, 49 max occupants, so it can get very loud. Only non alcoholic beverages are Coke, Coke Zero, and Sprite. Not sure the price was worth the meal. read more

I've wanted to try this place for so long and finally found the perfect cold, rainy night to stop by! This quaint bistro is super tucked away. If you're not paying attention, you'll drive right by the entrance. Parking was a little hard, but inside you'll find all the cozy vibes you're looking for! Multiple team members served our table and were super personable. Unfortunately with multiple servers, some of our menu items and requests were overlooked or were not communicated to the kitchen, HOWEVER the staff quickly rectified that. The grilled Brie and crab cakes were standout appetizers and the sea bass was our favorite entree. Portion sizes were perfect as well. 10/17/22 We couldn't decide where to go for dinner and I found this little gem on Open Table. Was able to make reservations easily. Jason was our bartender and server and he was amazing. Started off with a blueberry martini with grey goose (delicious) - and my work boss ordered a grey goose and soda We also ordered the pan seared tuna tower was smaller than we thought but delicious! Just wished there was more pieces. It had 3 pieces on a nicely decorated plate. Filet mignon was seasoned perfectly. We both ordered it and I cleaned my plate! Yummm! Jason gave us a side of green peppercorn sauce and it was delicious with the steak. We ordered for dessert the poached pear with truffles. This place is honestly one of if not my favorite in Bentonville! The ambiance is incredible and intimate, the food was phenomenal, and the staff was incredibly pleasant! I went with my mum on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving as our celebration and we just had a lovely time! We shared a great Bordeaux, had appetizers, split a salad, and both had entrees and everything was perfect! They also paced everything well so we were able to enjoy each course without feeling rushed and were able to enjoy the food at the right temperature! I'll definitely be here again!! We loved this place! I was looking for something quaint, local and unique to the Bentonville Arkansas area we were in. I took my wife up there for a quick getaway to celebrate six months of marriage. The restaurant is in what used to be a house I believe. It small and rustic looking with a little wooded area around it. We caught a glimpse of a deer walking beside the place. The inside was was nice but a little too dark for my taste. I guess that was the idea to create a nice intimate setting but the dark walls seemed to suck up all the ambient light. Still it was nice on the inside. Service was excellent. The person who took care of us was friendly and knowledgeable. We both ordered the ribeye steak with sea scallops with squash and potatoes. Our meal was out of this world! The steak was cooked the way we wanted it and was flavorful and the scallops were tender. For dessert we order some pear thing that was amazing but I forget the name. My wife and I were surprised not only did the servers make minimal effort to have a decent appearance, all the patrons in this place were dressed like bums. This was a $190 ticket for two people. They should set a higher standard. Also, this place is understaffed. The 2 servers completely ignored us the last half hour of our meal. I had to get up twice and literally go to them to get service. We were held hostage. They took away our leftovers to put in a box and never brought it back. It wasn't my favorite, but my coworker loved it. I should have gotten the lamb. Second coworker has the short ribs and enjoyed them. Third coworker has a steak and shrimp special- it looked good but his steak was quite overcooked- he opted not to send it back. Wine was good, we didn't have dessert. It was quite expensive. Husband and I saw this cute place when we drove by it a week ago. We recently moved here to NW Arkansas from Northern Illinois 5 weeks ago. We thought we would try it on a Thursday evening after shopping. We arrived at 7:15 pm. Right when we walked into the front door, a man behind the bar area( he never said his name or introduced himself), walked up and said " Do you have reservations "? Mind you , I tried to make reservations on their website page which says " reserve a table ", an hour b4 we arrived. I received an error message that read, can't make reservation due to it is too close to your arrival time. We decided we will try our luck and walk in. There were seriously 2 ladies at one table in a corner, and one other couple who were just leaving when my husband and I walked in. So, when the bartender/ server/ host guy asked us about reservations right when we walked in, I almost said, No, we don't, but can you add our name to your very lengthy waiting list The "nasty man with the attitude " asked if we want to sit at one of the two tables by the door. I didn't see any reserved signs on the other 20 plus tables either. We sat down and almost walked out due to the attitude we received in the first 5 minutes. We decided to "give it a try"- but NEVER again! $27 for pesto chicken pasta( no bread/ olive oil/ crackers/ nothing) while waiting for our food. And $27 for my husbands shrimp pasta , which included a whopping "6" shrimps. One star due to the desserts were delicious. read more

Had dinner here with a group of friends. Food was good but tiny portions. We were in a small rush to leave but we all PAID for our food. The next day, we come to find out they overcharged my friend. They told her, "you seemed intoxicated and someone didn't pay". First of all, how dare they assume that. Only 2 out of 5 girls had ONE alcoholic beverage. Second, pull up your receipt records and you can clearly see we all paid. Third, we have proof of what we ordered and we can show bank statements. Our server (I'll be nice and not name) could've questioned us before we left instead of assuming we didn't pay and then overcharging us for an extra steak and an extra drink! Petit Bistro offers a unique rustic Italian dining experience. Prices are high. Food is quite good. Service is also quite good. The grounds are beautiful and patrons are offered indoor or outside dining options. But we felt Petite Bistro fell short of what it should have (or could have) been. Petite Bistro offers no table cloths, paper napkins, a very casually dressed wait staff, a few flys in the indoor dining area along with a need for refining or updating the facility. For about the same prices, you can dine at River Grill and enjoy a much more refined dining experience. As long as you set your expectations accordingly, you will enjoy your visit at Petite Bistro. And we will likely come back - mainly for the knowledgeable and polite wait staff and the good food. read more

The ambiance and atmosphere was charming. We had the privilege to be waited on by one of the owners. I started with the Godfather drink along with the crab cakes and would highly recommend them both. We then moved to our entrees and I picked the pork shanks which had a very rich flavored plum compote underneath and the pork literally fell of the bone.... Literally! The vegetables were cooked to perfection and had a light buttery flavor to them that paired well with the plate. My other half said that the chicken was cooked perfectly and was very moist. "The pesto pasta was both savory and balanced." Then to finish the night off we had The Worlds Best Tiramisu. It had the perfect amount of sweetness and bitterness with the cocoa powder. Amazing. Great vibe in a lovely inviting old farmhouse from the 1930's. The place is warm and inviting, the service was exceptional and attentive. Food for four of us was top notch and everyone enjoyed their meals. We had Duck, Osso Bucco, Trout, with Tuna Tower and Caprese as appetizers. Bread Pudding, Pear Helene and Crème Brule for dessert.
