I came in on 8/10/25 and ordered the prime rib sandwich. The sandwich was tasty; however, the problem was there was a HAIR on my sandwich. I picked up the hair, examined it up close, then put it right back exactly where I found it...on the bun. I showed it to my waitress who apologized and took it back to the kitchen to have the issue fixed...or so I thought. Instead of FIXING the issue, the kitchen staff directed the server to bring back out the sandwich, WITHOUT the hair on it, to tell me I was wrong and that it was "just a piece of cheese". I have been in the restaurant industry since I was 14 years old and my first job being at a pizza place... I KNOW WHAT CHEESE LOOKS LIKE. I also have hair and know what hair looks like. At this point I did not want anything else from this kitchen. Trying to manipulate a paying customer into eating something with a hair on it instead of being truthful is diabolical. If that's how they handle a simple customer service issue, then I don't want to imagine what could have been done to my food if they were instructed to remake it. If it was "just cheese" then why not bring it back out with the "cheese" intact and explain it to me then? And why put the server through the humiliation of coming back to the table to try to tell me I'm wrong. Disgusting. Do better. read more

The Tavern is a hidden gem. This place has surprisingly great food and the coolest bar tenders. If Justin is behind the bar you're definitely going to be taken care of. He's a super laid back guy and he's great at making random drinks that you've never tried before. read more

It wasn't my favorite first experience, but you have to take it for what it is, a really loud sports bar. It's on the smaller side and there seems to be a bunch of regulars who seem to be the only ones acknowledged. We had two employees walk right past and ignore us upon entrance so we assumed we just seat ourselves and took the last table available. The food was ok, high priced and luke warm at best by the time we received it. Our waitress was attentive enough, but we felt like we were being rushed out towards the end. My aunty liked her philly cheesesteak which didn't look appealing and my daughter also liked her burger, the onion rings were bomb, but the cold fries were nothing special. My aunty also sliced her arm open on the door, when we were leaving, so that sucked. Don't know what was sharp enough on the door to cause such a huge cut, but just a heads up. read more

If you like bars and taverns - this is it - for us, it won't work again. The people were very nice who served us. We just don't like the bar atmosphere. It''s an emphasis on bar rather than restaurant. Hubby had a Reuben Sandwich which was good. I had 1/2 Sandwich and Salad of Pastrami, which had WAY too much mustard that I couldn't taste the meat. I've had many Caesar Salads at lots of places and this one has too much vinegar. It was okay - not bad - just not the best I've had. The service was pretty good. But we really felt out of place. We were referred to Tavern Grille by a friend, so we took time on a Saturday afternoon to enjoy lunch there. Soon after seating ourselves at a table with a good view of the many TVs in the place, Rosalie came to our table to take our drink orders. Once the drinks came, we figured out our order and she was spot on once again to accurately get that to the kitchen quickly. We waited for 15 minutes or so before the meal came, but it was well worth the wait. We opted for the Mac n Cheese (mild, but you can get the ghost peppers if you like it hot) and a Meatball Sandwich with Tater Tots. We planned to share the meal, and it was PLENTY for the two of us and then some. The servings are very generous. The mac n cheese was a little saucier than I like, but the toppings and flavors were a great offset! I wish it had been served with a serving spoon so every tasty coil of cheesy pasta with bacon pieces and toasted breadcrumbs would slide onto the spoon and then to my plate. The meatball sandwich offered huge 2-1/2" meatballs that were flavorful and well cooked in a bed of marinara sauce and topped with grated mozzarella cheese all on a tender fresh bread roll. Throughout the meal, Rosalie was friendly and attentive, just exactly what we would expect from a great server. She was a very good ambassador for this newly found eatery. Looked this place up last night on Yelp because my husband and I wanted to stop somewhere and have a drink before heading home. It says they are open until 2am. We walked in around 12:30. I walked straight to the bar and the girl said they already had last call and would not get us a drink. People were still singing karaoke. Looked more like a biker hang out. And yes! They were still serving drinks to the guys in there. I was highly disappointed. I didn't make a fuss I just left but felt discriminated. I fell bad for the owner because they are probably loosing money because of this. I hope my helper community reads this and tries a different place. Tavern Grille is an old style watering hole, serving some really good bar food and drinks. We came here early on a Saturday night and snagged the last high-top table near the door. A few minutes later they were packed. They have a dozen or so beers on tap. The food is mostly delicious pasta and Boars Head meats. Everything is tasty and they have done some clever twists which make it worthwhile. Decent food. However, my biggest and only complaint is their dressings. Worst ranch I've ever had. I couldn't enjoy my salad nor dip my chicken tenders and fries into the ranch bc it was so terrible. I then asked for Italian dressing and that was also not good. Finally landed on a decent to blue cheese dressing. I've never experienced that anywhere lol. Unfortunately, the food at The Tavern was underwhelming. The menu boasted a variety of options, but the execution fell short of expectations. The French dip looked nothing like the picture, seemed to be missing cheese and the meat looked/tasted frozen and unseasoned. The flavors were average at best, and the presentation was uninspiring. Additionally, some of the dishes arrived at our table lukewarm, which was disappointing and did not contribute to an enjoyable meal. My wife thought the wedding soup came from a can, the ranch was missing any flavor, let alone the ranch flavor you'd expect. Service was great, fries were awesome. Huge drinks and cool atmosphere. Yet another great visit to Tavern.... after a long 16hr trip of driving for work I finally had a day to relax. I walked in at 4pm on a Monday to see the place completely packed.
