    Honey sriracha chicken tenders
    Avery L.

Every dish we had was so good and there were many unique options. We started with the bang bang broccoli which was tasty but I recommend getting the scallion ranch to dip because the flavors paired so well. The chicken tenders were super crispy and also gluten free! I got the honey sriracha sauce and I love that flavor normally but I would probably try a different one. The steak crunch wrap was so good, almost like an elevated quesadilla. We went for lunch on a Friday and the service was kind of slow considering it wasn't extremely packed so I would imagine on game days you would be there for a while. Overall, very good spot for a sports bar with tons of gf options

Loved it after the game serving so many vibes! Great service wait was minimal. Only grabbed apps but was awesome

Came here for a late dinner and we were able to be seated right away which was great! Our server was sweet and prompt, and everyone we met was very nice. We ordered the burrata to share, but I was quite disappointed with the stale and super hard bread, it was not an easy app to eat. The burrata was also a little underwhelming, I wish they had more of the delicious fig/grape jam to pair with it! For our mains, we got a couple of burgers and a hot honey chicken. The burgers were ok, nothing too spectacular, but I did really love the sweet potato fries. I was also disappointed in the hot honey chicken, I wish the hot honey flavor was more prevalent in the chicken! I think I was also expected fried chicken, but it was ended up being grilled. Overall, their outdoor dining patio was nice to relax in, and it was a filling dinner. For the price, I'm not sure I would say their food was worth it. However, still a nice option if you are in the area and need a meal.

Great place to stop by for dinner or a drink prior to going to an event at the Garden. Great craft beer selection.

I was staying nearby and looking for a casual place for a quick dinner. I ordered the fish and chips which was pretty good. FYI, it's a big fish of fish rather than several smaller pieces if you are looking to share. The service was super quick, and this looks like a good place to chill and watch a game.

We went to Tavern in the Square without a reservation and we were given a table. (Very unusual for this area!) since it's across the street from TD Garden there is heavy foot traffic around and reservations are highly recommended. This particular time we weren't looking for a big meal just a little something so we wouldn't be hungry later on. We ordered a pizza. We were pleasantly surprised by the taste and happy that it was just the right amount for two of us. Then we also had room for dessert so I had the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream and caramel sauce and my husband had the seven layer chocolate cake. (He couldn't finish it) it's definitely big enough for two or three people to share. I wasn't leaving any of my cookie and ice cream behind.

Tavern in the Square was on my must-visit list while in Boston, and I couldn't recommend it more. My group and I were unable to make reservations but only waited for a bit to be seated. The place was packed even on a weeknight, and I can see why, the food and drinks were fantastic. They have a super impressive gluten-free selection including elusive gf fried foods you normally can't find in restaurants. I loved how many gf and vegetarian options I had to choose from and share with the table. The service was great, and we received everything within a reasonable amount of time. My only regret is that I didn't return prior to driving back to Jersey.

I have to say Boston is a very unnerving kind of place but this place offered me great food drinks and service. Steak tips w broccoli and fresh mash while watching 3 basketball games a football game and the weather updates...yeah nice place to revisit...

Was visiting Boston and needed a quick bite and walked in for dinner. It was a weekday evening and there were some folks but also enough space at the bar so was able to get a seat right away. Service was friendly and in line with other similar spots. Food was pretty good. Across a few days I tried both the chicken and bolognese and found that both were enjoyable. Good flavors overall. All in all, good spot to visit if you're staying by the area.

We had dinner here before a Bruins game. No wait and the service exceeded expectations! If you are gluten-free this place is a must! Separate fryer so you can enjoy fries and tater tots! Top notch, highly recommend!!

We stopped in to grab a quick bite to eat before grabbing a show and really enjoyed a great burger. The Tavern burger was a rather large burger ( not complaining), served with sweet potato fries. My girlfriend had the black and bleu burger. They were cooked perfectly and were very good. We were anxious to get in and out in I order to get to our show and they were able to take care of us. Just across the street from TD Garden - prepare for a lively atmosphere and wait on game nights. Bar seating is first come, first served. We stopped in around 4pm ahead of a 7pm game and were able to grab a bar spot while we waiting. For tables, they'll take your cell number and text when the table is ready. The bar staff was helpful and attentive. Lots of taps and they have plenty of varieties available for all beer tastes. The cocktail menu is also extensive. We got a table pretty soon after ordering drinks and service was great here as well. Our server had some great recommendations for this pescatarian. The quinoa bowl was a good portion and great flavor combinations. I absolutely love roasted beets so this was a favorite meal on our trip. Hubby had the Goddess Garden Burger - primarily sweet potato. He also liked the flavor, but it was lacking some texture and the burger fell apart easily - it would benefit from quinoa in the patty or some extra crunchy toppings. Overall, the food and service made this a good experience. I would certainly return to try out other menu options!

For their gluten free options, do they have a separate preparation space or separate fryers?

We were sat outside immediately, and got our drink orders taken within 3 minutes. I personally am never able to make a decision and our server Carlos helped me out with the drink choices! I picked something he suggested they could make that wasn't on the menu, and it was one of the yummiest margaritas I've had recently! For our food we got the steak tips and sweet chili wings and they were both a 10/10. The steak tips came with broccoli instead of a side salad but our server assured it could be switched immediately and apologized for the miscommunication, but we preferred the broccoli anyways! What shocked me was I noticed how Carlos kept an eye on every table without interjecting to bother them. He kept such a good eye on the tables that he noticed someone wobbling in their chair and brought them napkins to even out the ground, and brought me a bunch more napkins when I had ounces of sauce from the wings on my hands and face. It was truly a great experience and nice to see someone so attentive to their customers who totally didn't have to be. Give Carlos a raise! Thank you Caskn flagon!

It's like someone mashed together an amusement park, a zoo, and a full-blown circus, then replaced the cotton candy with alcohol and the safety rails with chaos. Absolute legend. Watching her work was like witnessing a headliner performance before the headliner. She wasn't bartending--she was conducting a symphony of pure mayhem. Drinks flying out of her hands like fireworks, orders remembered with supernatural precision, cracking jokes, keeping the energy electric--it was like if a ringmaster, a magician, and a quarterback all fused into one person behind the bar.
