Of all the restaurants I've been to, this is at the very bottom of my list. The ambiance and location are nice, but the food is terrible. The second we sat down we were greeted with water with floating particulates in it that we had to return. That was the first red flag. The Chicken Scarpariello was bland, and a poor cut of chicken full of rubbery skin and cartilage and covered in some sort of gravy. The fingerling potatoes were cold while the chicken was hot. The sausage was good, but I doubt they made that in house. The Eggplant Milanese was dripping an oil and the canned tomato sauce on the side did not make it any better. The salad on the side was wilted The Eggplant Parmesan was edible, but the pasta on the side was too acidic to eat. The Kale Salad that was started with was actually pretty good, but the the bread lacked flavor or salt. All of that for a $94 meal. Finally, the service was really sub par. The waiter seemed annoyed we sat down to have a meal. I hate leaving bad reviews, but there are so many great restaurants in Legacy West. You'll have a much better night in my opinion at North Italia across the street.

Great lunch spot! Food was absolutely delicious! Our waiter was checking in consistently! Overall great spot to grab a bite with friends and loved ones! One of my favorite places to visit!

Tried out this restaurant today with my husband and my mother in law. Inside and outside of the restaurant is beautifully designed. For drinks we got spritz which was pretty good but the Aperol flavor was a bit too strong. For food we got the chicken pesto pizza, the ravioli, and bolognese which in my opinion as far as quality were pretty average in taste and flavor. Service was not bad however I was a bit disappointed in lack of knowledge of our waitress on menu options as she was not able to provide recommendations for food and let us know everything on the menu is great. Other than overall the experience was not too bad.

This place was a delight! We ducked in here for some reprieve yesterday while taking photos with Santa. My almost 3 year-old daughter and 14 month-old niece loved the chefs focaccia as did us adults. It was like a less rich and heavy version of pizza, but without sacrificing flavor. Helpful tip, the chef's focaccia goes really well with the sautéed spinach! We also ordered zucchini chips that were nothing short of amazing. We ended our meal with white chocolate bread pudding, which was so delicious. The ambience of this place is excellent, perfect for intimate dinners, small groups, special occasions, and girls brunch.

Had a Sunday Funday brunch with family here and we totally enjoyed it . Our server was super friendly and attentive (too bad didn't get her name). It was busy & lively. Had the focaccia and the burgers, sausage & hash and Nutella beignets...and everything was great. Oh almost forgot, the mimosas that used to be bottomless is $3 each now, still a steal! Didn't get to take more pictures as we were all enjoying our visit .Would come back here for sure...

Food was good. Really loved the focaccia they brought out for the table. Best part was the zucchini chips appetizer we got. None of that was left. Service was a little awkward as we basically had two servers who didn't seem to be communicating much so took a while to get some things.

Okay so... This is a difficult one to review. I immediately want to give 5 stars due to the excellent customer service. Wish I could remember the guys name. Even while super busy, this guy was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and pretty quick despite the amount of people in the building. Now... The food.. To be completely honest.. It could've been a lot better. And I wish it wasn't as expensive, but it is what it is. Not to say it was bad, but I've had (just recently) another Italian place and maybe I'm comparing too much. I don't regret going but I doubt I'll be there again. If you do go however, get the taverna focaccia. Due to the service, variety, and location, I'll give it a 4.

Came here for lunch with some friends yesterday and had a pleasant experience. Staff was very kind and patient with us while ordering. We started out with the zucchini chips and the tomato bruschetta. The bruschetta was kind of disappointing, as it didn't have that punch of cheese or tomato flavor and just felt like i was eating bread. The zucchini chips were very good tho and the dipping sauce is so addicting. For entrees, we all ordered different things. I got the ravioli marmeni, and a chefs focacia for the table. The raviolii was cooked well, but i couldn't taste very much cheese while it was being drowned in butter. It definitely did not look like what it did on the website but whatever. The focacia was more like a plain garlic cheese pizza, but the dough was very crispy and satisfying to eat. I also tried some of my friends Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese, and the sauce tasted watered down. The tiramisu we got was almost like a tres leches, and was delicious. The place wasn't too busy, so it was nice to sit and talk. I'd probably get something else or just stick to the appetizers next time if i come back.

Have been for lunch/dinner and it's good but went for brunch recently on the weekend and it was really good! We both enjoyed our food. They also have $3 mimosas on the weekend, if you drink.

I've been meaning to make a trip to Taverna for a bit since I'm always in legacy West. I had an opportunity with my sons to go in this past weekend because we checked the menu and it stated on their online menu that they had the Cacio E Pepe dish made on the round pecorino cheese bowl. Unfortunately, when we arrived and requested the dish, they said they no longer make it, which was a complete disappointment. It is still on their online menu. My son's had a different pasta dish, and I had the gnocchi with short rib Ragu. We started out with the bruschetta and the bread and olive oil that they offer, which were both good. My sons enjoyed their dishes however I was not crazy about the gnocchi dish. It has a hint of something at the end that turned me off from the sauce. I had maybe five bites and packed it up. Our server was wonderful. Ambience was great. Food in my opinion was very average.

Went here on a Sunday for a quick lunch. The place was busy and we were able to be seated immediately. The $3 mimosas tasted $3 but they did have a few flavors to choose. However the glass wasn't even half full. So maybe they should charge $6 and give you a full proper pour. But the fresh bread was delicious with the pesto dipping sauce. I ordered the Burrata Caprese salad. This did not come with balsamic vinegar, why I am not sure. I definitely recommend asking for it on the side. Once my my balsamic arrived my salad was fresh, tasty and complete! I split a basket of the truffle fries with a friend. We were both happy with our choice. The service was a bit off, however the place was busy and the servers were kind. I Would go back and give it another try. What I did eat, was fresh and tasty.

Excellent place for brunch, with at least 4-5 specials to choose from and one of the on Saturday 1/11 was Diablo shrimp on sourdough crostini's. The house bread is focaccia with a zesty pesto for dipping, it was very addictive. I ordered the Taverna hash with scrambled eggs instead of poached. It had peppers, onions, potatoes, and brisket. Amazing brunch! The best part is the $3 mimosas!

The food was amazingly good--one of the best italian places I've had in a while. Our service was subpar. We were a group of 5 people all around the age of 23-24, and it seemed like our server just assumed that made all his shortcomings okay because he tried to act kind of bro-like with us. There were multiple periods of time where we were left alone for anywhere from 10 minutes to 40. It took us a LONG time to get our food even though we were one of maybe 4 parties in the restaurant. One friend got told they were out of something, ordered something else, and the waiter went, "that's a joke, right?" and told him they were out of that too. His entree came out almost a full 30-40 minutes after the rest of ours so he just packed it up to-go. Only a halfhearted apology that everything was taking so long and no type of compensation. The food was good enough that I would go back to try again since partner and I live in the area. But i really hope we don't get this guy as our server again.

We didn't realize until we were ordering that they do a BOGO half off deal on entrees every Tuesday, as long as everyone orders an entree. As a result we definitely had too much food on the table but it was nice for our party of 7 to try a bunch of different things! I didn't have time to take pictures of it all, but we started with the bruschetta and the sautéed mushrooms. Bruschetta came out hot and great as usual, but the mushrooms were a bit salty. The complementary salads were nice and light and our servers were great at refilling waters and bringing out more free bread throughout the night. For our entrees, we ordered the creamy lemon shrimp pasta with spaghetti, the eggplant parm with fettuccine, the lasagna bolognese, the shrimp spezia, the tortellini bolognese (one of the specials that day), and the dolce e salato & cesarini pizzas. My favorite items of the night were the dolce e salato pizza (the sweet and savory combo was excellent and the crust was light and fluffy) and the shrimp dishes - the shrimp was cooked very well. I'm not a big red sauce person but the bologneses were also pretty good. The long noodles were a little mushy in all the sauce but the tortellini was not bad. Portion sizes were huge so we took three boxes of leftovers home! And one of the ladies at the host stand helped us take some nice group pictures outside the restaurant after our meal. For a solid local red sauce joint that will fill you up and then some, look no further!
