Why, why, why did you change the fantastic chicken piccata recipe? My son and I ordered 2 piccata's, a salad and a side of asparagus to-go and when we got home we both were stunned at what we paid over $83 for. First we were wondering why we saw a milky sauce in our containers, and why was there panko crumbs on the chicken. I rechecked my order to see if I possibly ordered incorrectly, but it clearly stated 2 chicken piccata's, one single and one double order, house salad, and a side of asparagus. We cut into the tough, dry breast, tasted and both agreed that this awful meal was not what we had enjoyed so many times before. The sauce was wrong without the lemony greatness that it once had, the spinach was not even sauteed like before, and oh that awful embarrassing flavorless dry spaghetti on the side! Neither of us finished our meal, and we packed it all back into the to-go bag and placed it in the trash where it belonged. $83 of flavorless garbage is what we received!! So disappointed in Maggianos and we will not be dining there again! So sad that another restaurant has lowered its quality and raised its prices! Really good place to have an event. I went to a private event and one of the banquet halls. The surface was great. Everything was time to write and the family style meal was super filling. The bartenders were also very nice and patient. My favorite was the calamari which was very tasty and crunchy with a good sauce. I also liked the chicken Alfredo, which had a very big portion. We ended up being late to our reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, but called in advance letting them know and they said it was fine. When we get there however, the hostesses looked confused as if we never called and were kind of passive aggressive about finding a table for us.. mind you the restaurant is like more than half empty lol. Maggiano's recently changed up their bread offerings from the focaccia bread to some type of warm pull apart buns served with butter and I can't stop thinking about them! They are delicious! I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as the original bread they bring out to your table but this new offering is definitely a hit! Not to mention their food offerings and flavored sweet teas (raspberry & peach) are delicious! Just thinking about it makes me want to head over to Maggiano's for lunch! We visited the Maggiano's at this location with my fiancé and mother in law. The interior of the restaurant is designed old timey and has all these black/white photos on the walls which makes the place look cool. Upon arrival they bring you bread and butter which is truly amazing. We ordered different salads, Lasagna, and their bolognese. I thought the food quality was good but not amazing like it usually is at a Maggiano's restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly however service was a bit slow. The new chicken parm is horrible. It came out cold and they didn't have any way of heating it up so they made me a new one. The 2nd one was the perfect temp but the cheese on top was bland, the basil is added just before service and isn't prepped in anyway so it just kind of sits there. The pasta was unflavorful. Really disappointed in the meal, especially at the higher price. My wife was done with her mushy Alfredo by the time I got my meal. She got crispy chicken added to hers and there was barely any there. The restaurant was freezing. It was 90°F outside, 72°F inside would have been fine. I asked the server if they could make it warmer which I think they did but it was still chilly. The manager comped my meal but we still ended up with a $73 bill. Not a great value. We are regulars and absolutely love this place! They often change the menu due to revenue which is a con especially when it comes to the most amazing Dessert GiGi's butter cake with wipe cream and a strawberry drizzle with freshly sliced strawberries! We go for every occasion (anniversary, birthday and my husbands 1 year post transplant from leukemia) the location writes sweet things to us on plates and the manager who used to be here who unfortunately passed away had taken care of our meals a few times coming in out of pure kindness we were there for my husbands 100 day post transplant and he was there and saw us! Honestly a beautiful environment not even based off of the food or building but from the staffing. I couldn't recommend the food, the environment enough but most importantly the staff!! Alvin was my guy for the evening. He shared with me a few items but I knew what I wanted. I had a fresh and delicious house salad to start. I love the dressing they use but I think the avocado sets it to another level. My entree was the rigatoni in vodka sauce with grilled chicken. The sauce was amazing and the chicken was grilled perfectly. The pasta was a little over cooked but the sauce made up for it. I had to save room for dessert because I love the warm apple crostada. I would like to talk about how I had a great evening with excellent service from one of the nicest servers I have had. My Compliments to Destiny on the care, friendliness and how helpful she was the entire evening. I tried Chef KB's Lobster Carbonara this evening and found it absolutely excellent. We stopped in last year for New Year's Eve and loved it so much, we did it again this year. HIGHLY recommend making a reservation. We sat at 4:15 on 12/31 (early dinner to beat the crowd) and it was still packed! The food and service is always 10/10. And we love ordering the family style option to make it count. We left with plenty of leftovers to feed us for the next lazy day. It is loud In here, so you'll have to speak up when talking with your table but everyone had a great time and left with their belly full. The tiramisu is so light and perfect! Approximately every six months, I will enjoy a cup of wine or another alcoholic beverage. Outside of that, I rarely drink. Upon ordering one drink at Maggiano's and consuming it in its entirety, it clearly did not have alcohol in it. Upon complaining to the manager, he promised to remove the drink off my tab. We sat there for about twenty minutes while many servers, wait-staff and what looked like management passed us by but no one acknowledged us. We ordered take out of their famous Rigatoni D. We have ordered this dish as a large tray for many groups of people over the years. While the taste was good, there was very, very little chicken in the dish. It was almost all rigatoni. I would say there was about 1/4 the chicken as there usually was. Inconsistent, inconsistent, inconsistent. Like many other reviewers or just regular patrons of Maggianos we have always loved their menu. It was amazing for every occasion and always delicious. But lately Maggianos is SEVERELY inconsistent. The chicken piccata was once a light, lemony sauce is now incredibly milky and cheesy with a large chicken breast in place if the breaded cutlet, lasagna is now served torn apart in a bowl, bread has changed for the 2nd or 3rd time now, rigatoni d is now sweeter and switched to grilled chicken, portions decreased with a steep price increase, types of pastas on dishes are always different (possibly to save money?) chicken parm now comes with rigatoni over the spaghetti noodle, and alas still no chocolate zuccotto cake. Sometimes you come in and a dish will randomly be changed AGAIN. At one point the lasagna randomly switched to an open bowl for a couple nights, then back to normal. This used to be a "tastes like grandmas cooking." restaurant. Seems like every few months we come in the menu has suddenly changed and not for the better. It is standard to almost completely rework a menu once or twice a year not including seasonal changes but this once a month overhaul with no warning from any servers is not a sought after experience. Like any restaurant your loyal and local customers are what keeps you THRIVING which going off their other reviews regular customer reviews looks like it's not going well with these changes. No one wants to pay 30$ for a surprise variation of their favorite meal. It's extremely odd, confusing and frustrating. There are much better italian spots. This place needs a complete overhaul in management and culinary. Would not recommend whatever is happening here. We don't feel like paying to be your taste testing guinea pig. read more

My husband and I came here after viewing some apartments. The crowd was small, which is perfect for lunch. Ray was our server and he was a delight! My husband got the lobster pasta ( I can't remember the name). It had bacon, snow peas, and lobster (of course). The sauce was amazing! I highly recommend this dish. I had the shrimp fettuccine alfredo. I loved my dish - the sauce was thick and had lots of shrimp and noodles. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. Ray was a very thoughtful waiter. When my husband ordered a shot of vodka, he added a wedge of lime. Just in case my husband wanted it. I had the peach iced tea and he added the wedge of lemon. First off, not sure why I don't go here more often. The service, the ambiance and food is always the best. Our server Jackie did an amazing job as we celebrated my dad's 82nd birthday. From the bread, salads, main courses to dessert were all perfect. We also opted to take advantage of the their "take a meal home" for $6.00. Stopped by Maggiano's Little Italy with my husband, brother, and mom last month for lunch and we had a great time! It was my first time dining in; I'd only ever eaten catering from Maggiano's in the past, but we thoroughly enjoyed our meal here and the staff and ambience were all amazing. Our group of four opted for the family style menu, which is priced at $35.99 per adult, so we could try a bit of everything. It comes with two salads (caesar and house), two starters (we chose the crispy zucchini fritte and Tuscan-style PEI steamed mussels), four mains (we chose Mom's lasagna, four-cheese ravioli, shrimp scampi, and chicken marsala), and two desserts (we picked New York style cheesecake and warm apple tostada). Portion sizes were huge and I really enjoyed that we were allowed to get unlimited refills for anything we especially liked. My favorites were the two appetizers (we got an extra order of the zucchini fritte because it was so good, and I'm not usually the biggest fan of zucchini!), the shrimp scampi and chicken marsala, and the warm apple tostada which came with ice cream on the side. The scampi wasn't too greasy and the shrimp it came with was huge, and the chicken wasn't dry at all and came with an excellent marsala sauce. The ravioli was just okay and the cheesecake was pretty dense for my taste; I'd probably pass on those in the future. There was so much food that we had enough to take home with us for several meals! Our server came by quite frequently to make sure we had enough of each course, enough complementary bread, and abundant water. We came in with a $200 gift card and were able to leave the leftover amount as a tip for our amazing server.
