Had a great dinner the other night over at Tavolo, had a cozy table in the back and the restaurant has nice ambient lighting. Chris was our server and he recommended a great wine pairing for our entrees, we had been here when it was Di Carlos and happy to find that they still offer a Chili pepper infused olive oil with the table bread, the swordfish is fresh catch of the day (never from frozen) which tasted fresh, they also have half wine bottles on Monday so looking forward to going back soon to visit Chris!

The past few times here have been just okay but today everything was phenomenal from food to service. Last time we were seated in bar area and service was kinda awful mostly because the bartender (with a full bar) was our server. It wasn't really her fault but nonetheless first world problems annoying. Today they have redeemed themselves. Fast and friendly service and hot, fresh, delicious food. The arancini was the best I've had. The burrata ravioli really hit the spot as well. Well deserved 5 star review.

Went for dinner on a Friday night and it wasn't too busy, my husband and I sat at the bar. Very cute vibe, low lighting & great music. They had a great wine list, I chose Rosé! Recommend stopping in if you are near by.

My first time here and it's officially my go-to for Italian food! Ok...first of all, we rarely go out for Italian food, because we cook a ton of pasta dishes at home. But when we're craving dishes we normally don't make, we dine out. We used to love Chianti's and Sienna back when we lived in East Greenwich and the quality of the food is comparable. I highly recommend the Braised Pulled Beef Gnocchi and the Pasta Cardinale (choice of chicken or shrimp, vodka sauce). Both meals were equally delicious, unless you love tender braised beef like I do. The interior design is pretty classy-- modern-traditional with heavy weight drapery and wrought iron wall art. I thought the extravagance of displayed wine was a little funny because I don't drink, but wine aficionados might appreciate it! Wine galore! The price was very reasonable and the portions were perfect for an individual with a hearty appetite. Our waitress was friendly. Tons of parking available. Lunch on a Friday wasn't crowded, so no reservations were required. Highly recommend if you're in the area! Worth the drive if you want to get away from PVD or Attleboro, MA.

Tavalo always makes you feel like you're having some of the best Italian food in the area, the weight staff is amazing and extremely attentive to all of your needs, the drinks are always amazing. They have great craft beer and many bottled selections, and they have an extensive wine list of, high and wines and excellent scotches and whiskeys, I highly recommend this amazing restaurant and they have three locations in Rhode Island

Tuscan Kitchen did not disappoint one bit! The service was excellent. Ambiance 10/10. Food? Excellent and so flavorful. The lobster gnocchi was perfectly cooked and they even split our main dish for us since we were sharing our main course. Love when they do that without asking. They understood the assignment. Super fresh oysters and yummy drinks. I have absolutely zero complaints and nothing but good things to say about this Seaport restaurant.

Love the decor with neutral colors and big, bright windows. Our server was chipper and friendly but the service was inconsistent. One minute she's attentive and the next, she's completely gone. Drinks were very good here especially the espresso martini. I did the table side cheese wheel pasta with truffle and added a protein for $73. Ooof...but the cheese sauce was good! Wasn't too salty. Someone ordered the duck rigatoni...huge rigatoni and the flavor was quite gamey, if you like that. Someone else ordered the meatball sandwich and it looked like a messy calzone. But! That flavor was good. Restaurant wasn't packed at all and we stayed as long as we like, which was a plus.

We sat and were greeted by our server, she was nice and attentive despite being busy. I ordered a glass of the May Rosé special, and my mom got a nonalcoholic rosé. We both liked ours. Then we split the crab cake appetizer which we liked, although small...one piece for almost $20. We also were brought bread which was tasty paired with an olive oil mix. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli. There were only 6 of them but a good size, I opted out of a protein since they were a little pricey. I loved my meal, the sauce was creamy and paired nicely with the filling of the raviolis. My mom ordered the scallops that came with a lobster risotto. She liked hers as well and the scallops were a pretty good size. I will say the food was good and the overall experience was enjoyable despite having a high top even when I expressed to the host and manager it would be uncomfortable for my mother. We did see other moms receive a rose but my mom did not, I think only for the reserved tables and not any paying customer. Pricey but lovely inside and food quality was good just a little on the smaller side for portions. It's in a great location at the village so you can grab a bite to eat and walk around before or after. It made for a good Mother's Day meal.

But I'm a very Big of this buffet. Also I had an excellent waitress by the name of Sarah from my previous visits. Unfortunately Sarah wasn't working here today and I introduced to my New most favorite waitress Elyse. Elyse is so full of charm and energy and an awesome personality. Excellent customer service skills, and Elyse made our visit to Todd's English Tuscany a real treat. For starters I had to start with my staples Eggs Benedict, Garlic flavored Greenbeans, a nice assortment of fruit so delicious and flavorful, and my true Love the bacon. Now I never really eat too much bacon when I'm in NYC or Florida but here they make the bacon with such an awesome flavor I'm extremely happy that I don't live close to the Mohegan Sun Casino because I'll be having this bacon everyday. Eggs Benedict, Bacon and Elyse what a great way to start my day at the Mohegan Sun Casino.

Unfortunately, it was a major letdown, especially with a celebrity chef's name attached. Started with a really tasty cherry margarita and thought we were off to a great start, but really felt like, as another review mentioned, a pricy Olive Garden. Apps: The best of our meal was the caesar salad ($19). Shrimp cocktail ($21) were barely passable as they were rubbery and clearly overcooked. Entrees: --Brisket pappardelle ($48), spinach pappardelle, white-wine braised brisket, shaved pecorino. A disaster. Listed on the menu as one of "Todd's favorites," the pasta was way undercooked, stuck together in a gloppy, tasteless sauce. We left more than half of it (and noticed the table next to us did the exact same thing). For nearly $50, this was inexcusable. --Chicken parmesan ($42), large portion, but completely mediocre. Okay marinara sauce, but nothing special. --Filet mignon ($52), cooked to the requested temperature, but looking back at the menu, it was missing the listed demi-glace entirely. No wonder it tasted so lacking. --Parmesan fries ($12), suggested by our server to pair with the steak, but they arrived cold--and our waitress disappeared for a long while so we couldn't send them back. One final tip: The restaurant is kept freezing cold. Forewarned if you're in shorts and short sleeves. With Todd English's name, expected much better

They also have interesting items like filled gnocchi. I've been a couple of times now and had a very good brunch with my family. My breakfast pizza (without prosciutto to make it vegetarian) was excellent! It has cheese, spinach, hollaindaise sauce and a runny egg, with a nice chewy crust. I ate the whole thing which was very filling and I easily could have taken half home (it's pretty messy so more of a fork and knife deal). I've also had a vegetarian kale salad with chickpeas candied walnuts cranberries & cheese. I also got a side of roasted sweet potatoes. One person's eggs Benedict was a little overcooked, but others liked the frittata, the HUGE chicken parm (with a whole ball of burrata on top), and sandwiches on focaccia (my husband couldn't even finish half of the Salumeria). I also noted the bread that comes w/the hummus & ciabatta loaves looked great. The chocolate espresso cake and the apple crumb bar from the bakery were pretty good. We got the sfogliatella to go, which wasn't crunchy on the outside sadly (maybe it wasn't fresh?), but had a nice citrus ricotta filling and wasn't too sweet.the nitro cold brew was too strong for me, but the iced Americano was good. The Semolina raisin bread that they use for French toast wasn't for me. The classes offered sound interesting (like pasta alla Norma) and are reasonably priced. There is cute inside & outside seating with live music on Saturday for brunch (it can get a bit loud). They don't currently take reservations. The shops nearby are nice too!
