Half of a Roast Beef sandwich with a side of Kale Caesar salad with croutons.
    Gia M.

Very nice employees working there...I tried the Roast Beef sandwich with a side of the kale Caesar salad. Also I got a salted chocolate dessert bar and everything was delicious! You can tell, it was made with love! The only negative thing I can say about this place is that the Roast Beef was a bit skimpy on the meat. As well as the bread that came with the soup tasted like a day old. It was very dry. It could've benefited by being warmed up. However, I will be going back probably to get the same thing and try maybe a new dessert.

Got the half plate lunch w the kale Caesar and trout, and it was great. The Caesar had a bit of lemon in the dressing so it was light and fresh, and the trout was fresh and flavorful. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Staff were super friendly.

Wow, must go for the refreshing salads! The kale Caesar is amazing. The roasted beet is even better. The price is great for two small salads, $11. Service was very sweet as they help me with my plates to my table with my baby. The decor and ambiance is so cute, calm and modern. Parking is street parking. Counter service, so order at the register and bust your own table.

Roasted veggie sandwich with kale Caesar salad. Tuna and faro salad.

Delicious sandwiches with wide choice of salads or soup. Easy cafe style ordering. Fresh ingredients. Good vegan and vegetarian choices!

BEASTED! After a gluttonous few days on vacation my friend and I were in desperate need of some salads so we stopped in here after looking over there menu. My friend got their soup of the day, vegan chili, and enjoyed it. I got the salad trio where you pick three of their many salads. I got the poppyseed coleslaw, kale ceaser, and quinoa chickpea which was the best one in my opinion. Great food, good service, and everyone there seemed to be enjoying themselves.

I had the caprese sandwich with a side kale Cesar which was light and super flavorful. I didn't take a picture of it but my husband ordered the pastrami and it was my favorite. I would recommend that. It's a super cute and healthy lunch option if you're downtown.

Visiting in the area and tried this place. Hesitated at first because the options are unique. Very friendly and offer soup sampling. We order at sat down to eat. Very tasty. Very yummy. Chicken soup was excellent. Best carrot cake I ever had. Highly recommended.

The fruit salad was a surprisingly delicious side to my sandwich, and my only caveat would be the price. Very delicious though!

Split pea soup, sour dough bread and roasted pear, delicata squash and quinoa salad. Every last bite was amazing.

I know we…read morehave several really popular polynesian and Hawaiian restaurants in the area, but I'm uncertain how many uniquely identify as Samoan. Tusi's Deli Creation may be the only one! Located at 68th and Glisan, the restaurant has been introduced to the community slowly over the last few months. The owners are currently doing catering and producing prepackaged deli style food for sale elsewhere, but they've also opened their doors to the public on the weekends. Apparently, the intention is to open for extended hours in early November when they'll operate from Wednesday through Sunday. I've only sampled Tusi's Deli Creation dishes sold for prepackaged takeout, but the chicken half moon pie and round pancakes (Panikeke) are so fresh and packed with flavor, I can't wait to visit this weekend to try more! I'll amend my review when I do. In the meantime, the deli is building quite a social media following where they show off some of their dishes, and make announcements about hours, etc. I highly suggest you check them out before they get so popular they begin selling out of inventory!

Please look for the sign. I had to take a turn around the block to realize it was there. (It was rainy and dark out). The owners are lovely people super attentive and welcoming. I called ahead to make sure this wasn't a fluke and the guy answered and reassured me they did indeed have COOKED Samoan food! I got fish, mamoe, muli pipi, with rice and taro. Let me tell you, I don't even think I chewed for the most part. HAHAHA. The food was warm, delicious ,and a comforting in the way that only food from "home" can comfort you. They for sure have blessed hands in the kitchen. I didn't try any of the baked goods or the deserts. But they're an option that I am fully going to take advantage of next time! The owners mentioned they were robbed and almost gave up! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE COME OUT AND SHOW SUPPORT FOR THEM! They truly deserve your patronage! Thank you again for the AMAZING meal.

Entering the shop, you will be greeted by loud music. Be ready for that. You will have the option to dine outside, if the weather provides it and the seats are empty. The hosts are wonderful and very accepting with a positive attitude. Smiles and all. I ordered the Jim because it was the only sandwich I could eat. The majority of the sandwiches contain meat, so I would not recommend this for vegans or pescatarians. Jim was delicious and I consumed both halves of Jim flawlessly. Either hunger overruled me, or the sandwich was that satisfying. I do recommend the shop, but with limited options for non-meat eaters, I truthfully would rate Lottie and Zulas, 4.5. Yet, I don't believe the spot was "good."

We also had the Vinny which was fine, a bit spicier than I thought it would be, but I'm a wimp. The service was fine, not overly friendly but adequate. The food is 4 stars, the service 3 starts, but the real bummer was all the plastic. Plastic container, plastic cups and we were eating in. They asked if it was to go and we said no, but everything came in plastic anyway. The ambiance is quintessential Portland, right up until they bring all your food in plastic with plastic silverware to boot.

Let me start by saying I didn't take pictures. For anyone who reads my reviews, that's a big part…read moreof them: ALL THE PICTURES. Presentation, portions, half eaten, etc... but I didn't. Because the food was so damn good. Look - I'm going to start off by saying I grew up practically on The Hill. Out here, you'll have to Google it (make sure to add 'RI' to the search or you'll get some political BS), but back east, "alls you's have ta say" was those two words and anyone would know you knew your Italian, food and otherwise. There isn't anything on this coast that vaguely compares to The Hill's food, but walking into and biting out of Geraldi's was having a little piece of home. There's this little shop in the old town where the owner knew your voice when you called to order... you'd walk in, and you heard "hey cousin!" whether you were or not, and that's the vibe you get from Geraldi's. The food is much the same - you get something that looks like Nonna was at the range all day with her sauce (it's not gravy - no meat) and you came home looking like you haven't eaten in weeks: "I'm gonna fatten you up before you leave" and you walked out the door with a sub (sandwich, that is - not a submarine) that weighed the same as a newborn. We got three of those babies: a Chicago Beef (seal of approval from the orderer - only 'complaint' was that they had to eat it all in one day because the bread was quote too soggy to make it to lunch the next day - travesty), an Italian sausage (just as delicious when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and a Chicken Parmeroni (I thought somehow even better when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and I could have absolutely gone back the next day if it weren't for A. the leftovers 2/3 of us had and B. the meal planning we'd done for the week. I also grabbed a side of giardiniera because I will get it anytime I see it available and I inhaled it - I need to know if I can by it by the vat instead of the side cups because it too was similar to what I can find at home (about practically nowhere out here) and amazing!! I'm still upset I didn't take pictures though!
