Can't say enough great things about my experience with Taylor, and I have course, older hair (I'm really up there in age so the texture gets weird when you get older). I love how well she listens--she can look at photos of what you want and then create magic to make it happen. And if you go home and it wasn't what you thought, she'll have you come back and she'll fix it--she cares THAT much. I love that it's just me and her in the salon during my appointments--I started having her do my hair during COVID and it was so much safer (reduced the risk of exposure) and she'll create a setting that works for you--music, air flow and everything. She genuinely cares about you being comfortable and happy. I like my hair really really blonde and it makes a lot of stylists uncomfortable to leave bleach on my hair for that long--but she does it anyway, because it's what makes me happy. In the past, I generally don't let the same person who colors my hair cut my hair as well (because in my experience, those are two very different skill sets and I have a soft, bouncy natural curl and most people don't know how to cut it correctly)--but Taylor does both amazingly (she has curly hair herself so she really understands it). She can also do a quick blow-out in between appointments--which has been great for special events or work dinners that I wanted to look extra fab for. Because I'm sensitive to the scent of all hair products, she allows me to bring my own, which I'm so grateful for. She gives you a really customized/ personalized experience and it's so worth it! read more
