Based on a couple good reviews, I decided to try this place last week. We had the grouper basket, and there were just two little (2" x 2") pieces of grouper. We also had the Cajun vegetable alfredo, and it was just ok. We ate at the back bar, and regretted it. Not sure what the law is, but everyone was smoking at the bar, including the bartenders! I actually live in Enon, and have driven past this place probably 1000 times. I can't believe I never have it a try. This past Friday, I decided to, and I am glad I did. We decided to check this place out as were were passing through the area. The atmosphere was nice. The food was okay but the service was SLOW! We arrived at 12:30 and there were only a couple of other people there. In defense of the wait staff, she was the only person working and was taking another order when we walked in but it took quite a while for us to be offered a menu and then even longer for her to come back for our order. Once the food arrived, it was fine but the server didn't re-visit the table. Eventually, another server arrived and came by to clear our table and took everything, including our drinks while we were still sitting there. Maybe they were trying to move us along, which I'd have gladly done but we hadn't gotten our check yet. I asked for the check and just went to the counter to pay, rather than wait on someone to come back. We left just after 2:00. We hadn't planned or wanted to be there for that long. I wouldn't return simply because of the slow pace of service. If you are looking for a place to watch the game or hang out for a few hours, it is fine. read more

I love the food. Excellent quality with a great price. I always get the ruben sandwich. They carry a wide variety of menu items from salads, steaks, seafood, pasta and many others. This place does not look like much from the outside, but they have a nice patio and outdoor bar. They have a great selection of food, some of which is not your typical bar food. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. We were disappointed with the timing of the food service because we ordered appetizers and then waited about 10 minutes to order our meals, but the appetizers, salads and meals all came out at the same time. Our server apologized and after we expressed our dissatisfaction again we ended up getting free desserts. Overall, the food was great and we loved the outdoor patio so we will definitely give it another try. read more

Love the patio and the food is very good bar food. The menu is huge with a ton of options. No draught beer is a big drawback for me. The inside of the bar isn't great, but it is a true "local bar." The staff is very friendly, but the service isn't great, and can be bad at times. The patio alone is worth the trip in the summer, just wish I could drink a draught beer on it. On a co-workers recommendation gave this place a try and was pleasantly surprised. Friendly waitresses, cold beer and some really good specials. I tried the lasagna and it was really good. Food was great, service was so/so but the owner of the bar is far beyond your worst nightmare!! I guess if your a somewhat attractive female, you're pretty much not welcomed in her establishment! I Was in visiting from out of town and met up with some friends for dinner and drinks, had planned to stay there all nite bc of the convienent location for everyone...we would have never ordered food had we known how we were going to be treated. I will say, the steak was great and the salad, even better...but our treatment was deplorable!! Someone needs to get her a course in business management 101!! Besides her short and rude comments, she sat at the end of the bar and gave me and my gfs dirty looks the entire time we were there. For a minute, I thought I was back in high school! As we were checking out I asked who "she" was, u can imagine my reaction when I was told the owner!!! One of the best meals I have had in a very long time. Visited my hometown recently and stopped at Taylors at the prodding of my nephew Kyle. Great Burger but the onion rings were to die for. Do not let the exterior appearance of this great little bar/restaurant deter you!! We eat here about once a month. The food is excellent. Great ribs, quesadillas, steaks and sandwiches. The side salad is also excellent. Service is prompt and friendly. The only thing that kept me from giving Taylor's 4 stars is the fact there is no draft beer (cans and bottles only) and the dart board is too close to some of the food tables. I've heard great things about the patio but have not been out. Good selection on the juke box and reasonable drink prices. They have bands sometimes on the weekends but we like to go for dinner thought the week so we can take our son. The outside of the building is in need of a little TLC, but in no way indicative of the food, atmosphere and cleanliness of the inside. Taylor's scores and A+ in all of those categories.
