Stopped in for a quick lunch, and it was a good choice for plenty of tasty, fresh food! Service was very friendly and welcoming, and there was plenty of variety to choose from. Items tended to be on the spicy level, so tender tummies might be advised to take small samples. The Hop Queen can only take so much, while my bona fides as a chili head were validated on some items. Biggest problem was I over indulged, and had no need for an evening meal. Bonus for Indian cinema fans, two big screens tuned to the Aditya channel, so we got to play "identify that movie, have we seen that yet?" game. ID'd Allu Arjun in Pushpa, and SuperStar Rajni in Coolie. IYKYK.

Stuffed beyond belief! Our fault as we couldn't help but try all of the food on this amazing buffet full of choice Indian dishes! I cannot tell you my favorite because so much was amazing--however, I did order a fresh mango lassi that did not disappoint, and the naan was by far the best I've had. Fluffy with a slight chew and crispy edge, this traditional bread was used to sop up all of the leftover sauces on our plates. We didn't want to waste a bite! Eat here for sure. Clean restaurant and friendly staff (so kind and served us complimentary dosa!) You and your taste buds will be happy you tried it!

    The Rasam soup was amazing!

Where do we begin?! Our bellies are dancing with pure joy that we spontaneously stopped in to this new hole-in-the-wall. From friendly FAST service, to amazing suggestions on what to order, this spot is a home run in our book. We absolutely will be back immediately to try more options on the menu!

Delicious food, great service, nice atmosphere. We really enjoyed our meal and will come back. We had street samosa, dal mahkni, paneer tika masala, and aloo gobi, onion bread, garlic naan, and Golub jamun for dessert. The service was attentive and the food came fast.

We got to opportunity to chat it up with Armando, the owner as well. Exceptional customer service, felt very welcome here. The service was like being waited on by friends. They were so helpful in explaining everything and, if you're inclined, they're happy to talk about what they've built here together -- Mother, Son, and Daughter-in-Law, all working in harmony to make this place sing. We've tried a number is wines and dishes get. The Pintxos are amazing. The Tapas are totally on point with our favorite being the Albondigas meatballs. And the charcuterie featured really high quality chorizo, Serrano ham, Manchego and Mahon cheeses, almonds, grapes and an amazing quince jelly that's firmer than a standard jelly and quite delicious. Well be back. And we'll bring friends :-)

Presentation of the dishes was attractive and thoughtful, and we were pleased with our wine selections. We started by sharing the poblano corn chowder. Unfortunately, the dominant impression was salt. The soup was more of a brown, creamy sauce with chicken and corn than the aromatic, herb-forward poblano chowder I was expecting. Beyond the saltiness, there wasn't much depth or complexity of flavor. For entrées, we ordered the steak and the ahi tuna tomahawk. Both were visually impressive, but once again the overwhelming characteristic was salt. The tuna may have had a hint of tarragon, but it was difficult to appreciate much else. The steak was exceedingly salty--surprisingly so, even for someone who is not shy about using salt. Service was courteous but somewhat inattentive and slower than expected. At this price point, I would have hoped for more attentive service and a broader range of flavors rather than repeated assaults on the sodium receptors. One final curiosity: water was served in what appeared to be small jelly jars, which felt a bit odd given the otherwise upscale presentation. Overall, Blaine's gets good marks for ambiance, presentation, wine, and especially the live music. Unfortunately, the kitchen's heavy-handed use of salt overshadowed much of the meal. With more restraint in seasoning and a bit more attention to service, this could be an exceptional dining experience.

We started with the pan-roasted romanesco, which was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The bread service with compound butter was a standout on its own: simple, but done at such a high level that it set the tone for the entire meal. We grabbed seats at the bar, which ended up being a great move. The atmosphere was lively but relaxed, and we enjoyed several glasses from their excellent wine selection. Our bar tender was knowledgeable, welcoming, and she made the whole experience feel elevated without being pretentious. For entrees, my wife ordered the chicken and fries, crispy, juicy, and incredibly satisfying. I went with Blaine's burger, and I don't say this lightly: it's hands down one of the top three burgers of my life. Perfectly cooked, beautifully balanced, and unforgettable. Blaine's is doing something special. If you're in Waco and looking for a place that nails both food and experience, this is it. We'll be back soon.

We ordered the 20" for two and it was more than enough for two guys that can eat a lot. The slices are huge so if you want more slices you can ask for a double cut and it'll make the pizza go even further for a table of more people. The pizza is extra hot when it comes out and oddly it tastes better as the cheese cools and solidifies. It isn't bad when you get it. It gets BETTER. Ranch is free which is not the norm these days so dip away! Service was fast and efficient even tho they were busy. Whole pizzas so take about 30 minutes but slices are always available to purchase. My only suggestion to the kitchen is to have all good timed to come out at the same time. We had someone with us that ordered pasta that came out about 15 minutes before the pizza came out and we told to eat before their food got cold.

I've had the Chicken Parmesan pasta, the Margherita pizza, and the Pepperoni pizza. Each of them was above average. The Chicken Parmesan came with a nicely breaded and cheese-covered piece of chicken with spaghetti and two pieces of garlic toast. It was good, though it could have used a little more red sauce. Pizzas are available as 20" or 14" pies, and certain ones you can get by the slice. The crust is medium thickness, light, with a soft core and a crispy outside. The Margherita was good but I preferred the Pepperoni. Overall, both pizzas were above average. I especially liked the crispiness of the outside of the crust. They also have salads and wings. Dessert consists of cheesecake or funnel cake fries. I haven't tried any of these yet. There is an inside dining area, a bar area, and an outdoor patio area. The inside is shared with Common Grounds coffee shop and Heritage Creamery ice cream shop, a couple of other local favorites.
