The chicken was dry with very little flavor. Too, it was barely warm. I think it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. We had a good meal at the Tazikis on Mallory recently but this one on Main Street is not good. read more

The food was fresh and tasty, just not 100% authentic. Instead of getting their lamb for the gyro off of one of those large spits where it is cooked all day, they chopped it up on the grill. Giving a different texture and more grease. They also put a little Taziki sauce on the bottom of the pita, resulting in it getting soggy fast. In Greek owned places, they always put the sauce on the top, or to the side so you can add it. They also give you more than what was swiped on this pita. It wasn't bad, just not what I was expecting. I was also thrown that it was served with a side of potato chips, and not the traditional small Greek salad. But that might be just because of the area... making it more of a quick place to eat. read more

Let's start by clarifying that nothing is Mediterranean. Sprinkling feta on food, or adding yogurt does not make it Mediterranean. Ordered take out last night, asked for no lettuce on my chicken gyro. Am I allergic, no. I just don't like adding lettuce to a hot wrap as it gets soggy and gross. Plus romaine doesn't go on gyros. Well, guess what - even better, I got brown lettuce! People, throw out your stale romaine! Don't add it to my gyro so I have to then dissect and remove. Is it a TN thing? I've been to several places that think stale, brown or limp lettuce is ok to serve. Food is served with Ruffle chips. Um??? You should do a side of hummus + bread instead of Ruffles. Especially for the price you all charge. The tzatziki sauce is as much Mediterranean tasting as Taco Bell is Mexican. Just a glob of bland yogurt. Not trying to hate here but it's true. And lastly the chicken, it's the same "grilled" chicken you'd make at home with a little salt + pepper, only hard as a rock..... Bland and certainly not freshly cooked. And traditionally a gyro has onions on it too. I went back and the ingredients mention grilled onions - well A.) I didn't get grilled onions and B.) you're supposed to use raw sliced onions Very disappointed with this establishment and will not be revisiting. I'm from the west coast where Mediterranean cuisine is common so you get the real deal, bigger portions, better balanced entrees, FRESHER and authentically seasoned. read more

We arrived around 7pm. Quickly greeted by an informative server. We placed our orders. It almost looked confusing, but surprisingly easy to find something I wanted. Sadly, they were out of the tomato cucumber salad. After ordering, we went to sit down, but every table was empty, yet dirty. Weird, almost every single one. What a hit! My company, for onboarding new hires, chose this yummy establishment for catering. What an amazing array of foods! Debated between adding Grilled Chicken and Chicken Kabobs. On the advice of the counter staff, went with the Kabobs. They were a great addition to the fresh salad. Taziki's is a great option when I want healthy, fresh food in a pinch. I love that there's an app to order ahead if I am in a hurry. Overall the food here was just OK. The chicken gyro was surprisingly small and the chicken was really dry and not super flavorful. It seemed like a pre-made sandwich you might get at the airport. Not impressive at all. The whipped feta was tasty, especially with the honey on top. But the vegetables included with the dip were a bit dried out, as though they had been cut a day or two earlier. The grilled chicken breast "feast" also featured chicken that was quite dry. The pasta salad was good, but pretty basic. The staff was really friendly overall, and the location has a nice casual ambiance. But the food was a let-down. Next time we are in the mood for Greek food we'll definitely go somewhere else, either a great local spot I've reviewed previously, or we'll try somewhere else. read more

I usually like this place but recently did an online order (easy 2 items), which had the pick up 30 minutes later. Got there on time and it took another 20 minutes or more...so 45 minutes from order. Everyone standing around getting mad how long their orders were taking. Then some people that came in off the street got orders before the online who was sitting waiting. The girl handing out food was also cleaning picking up the dirty rug, sweeping, etc and not washing hands before handing out food or working on my drinks. Staying in Franklin for the week and stopped by this place walking through the 4th of July festival. 1st of all we walked in 5 mins before they closed, instead of giving us an attitude or telling us they were closing, they offered us take out. We gladly accepted considering they had seating outside we could sit at. We ordered 2 greek salads one with chicken and one with lamb. The chicken and lamb were both so tender and juicy. Learning this was a chain, we will be on the lookout for more as we travel across the country. This was a quick service greek place. Plenty of seating inside, clean, good service! Food was good! Tzatziki dip was delicious, though the pita bread that came with it was kind of hard and not very fresh. Mediterranean salad was very good but came with very little dressing. We ordered the daily pasta which was delicious but had way too much sauce. The pasta is a cold pasta served with meat, noodles, and greens. The balsamic pasta sauce was a bit strong and the pasta could have benefited from having almost half as much. Overall good experience! read more

Lunch stop passing through the picturesque town of Franklin. We love Mediterranean food (Farrah's at The Guest House in Natchez, MS is my go-to), so we're happy to see this option in front of us. Place is clean, and we placed our order with the friendly cashier. We both ordered gyros (one beef, one lamb) with rice as the choice of side. (See menu pic). In a matter of minutes, our food was delivered to our table. I was surprised to see ruffled potato chips sharing the plate with the gyro and rice. Whoops- I misread the menu- as 'chips OR...or...or' not 'chips AND... ' should've ordered the salad. (Had I read more carefully, I would not have chosen rice & chips as a combo for my sides. My bad!) I am giving three stars as the food was.... Average. The gyro bread was thicker than I like, but soft/ fresh. The grilled beef was chewy--cut in strips, many connected by threads of gristle. Companion's lamb was a ground meat preparation. Lettuce, and a paltry splash of a thin white sauce completed the gyro. Overall, it had a bland, in unexciting taste. Maybe a more creamy tzatziki sauce could've helped. The rice was just shy of steaming hot, with a dash of parsley on top, and a hint of a vinegar seasoning. The meal was filling, seemed fresh, but the chewiness of the beef and lack of spices and flavor left me wanting. I see lots of happy reviews, so perhaps if you're satisfied with bland- to mild Mediterranean food, this could suit you fine. read more
