When a single slice of carrot cake costs $10, you don't just eat it--you judge it. Hoping this one delivers on flavor, moisture, and frosting, because the price definitely set the bar high.
Stopped by Tazza Café after a night out and walking the boardwalk. It's super convenient that it's open 24/7. We got the AC Sub, fried chicken sandwich, Neapolitan cake, cinnamon bun, and a blueberry muffin for just over $50. The sandwiches were toasted perfectly with a nice crunch. The AC Sub had a good spicy kick, and both were very filling. The Neapolitan cake was the standout with a fluffy texture and rich vanilla custard. The blueberry muffin was moist with big chunks of fruit. The cinnamon bun was okay but would have been better warmed up. Staff were friendly and service was quick. A little pricey but worth it for the convenience and quality.
More on the expensive side, but that's what you get at the Casinos. The $9 Napoleon was superb--fresh and rich. Huge portion--perfect for sharing. It is on the sweet side, for those who are looking to satisfy their cravings. All the desserts and baked items looked delicious and freshly made. A lot of customers is a good sign. No seating, just a window front in the lobby of the casino, so you'll have to eat your goodies elsewhere.
The displays are super beautiful but I wouldn't say this was my favorite place for dessert. We got a bunch to try but they were either really dry or didn't taste that good.

Some great items, and refreshing gelato. TAZZA is OPEN 24 hours, which is very nice and convenient when you stay or play at Caesars. See photos of my yummy purchases. MY SUGGESTION FOR TAZZA CAFFE--Please treat your employees to a taste of everything you sell so that they can say first-hand what the product is like, and how they like it. THIS MATTERS!!! This is where you need to improve and then you will see your sales go up even more. My first night I enjoyed some gelato-it was refreshing. I was surprised that you did not have stratcciatella gelato, also known as chocolate chip gelato. I was mulling over a purchase of a blueberry muffin--TAZZA has two versions, which is very nice to see--a sugar-free and a regular with sugar. I thought I'd take it upstairs to have for breakfast in the morning until I could get down to a real breakfast at a restaurant or my fav Starbucks LOL. With a coffee maker in my room, the blueberry muffin would be great ; and I could enjoy a cup of coffee too. However, since no one working at Taza was able to tell me how wonderful the blueberry muffin was, I was very hesitant, so I did not buy it that first night. But I did buy it my second evening, and I landed up taking it home with me. I AM HAPPY TO TELL YOU THAT I just had the blueberry muffin now, and I must tell you it is one of the best blueberry muffins I have ever had in my entire life!! It was soft, Fresh with lots of beautiful and delicious flavorful blueberries. It's too bad no one was able to tell me. "...this is a great blueberry muffin!! " . I would've bought it every day. And I would have taken some home with me!!! I would have brought one over to the Luggage holding person, I would have given the bus driver a muffin! Another great item which I did purchase that first night was the clear box of BAKLAVA ($8) IMHO A VERY FAIR PRICE. I have made baklava, and I know that the ingredients are expensive. You are using fresh walnuts, honey, butter, and Phylo pastry among other things. I enjoyed this with coffee in my room the next morning. It was EXCELLENT!!! I did not try any other items this visit. I did enjoy everything I bought: gelato, blueberry muffin with sugar, and baklava. I shall update whenever I return, hopefully in the next few months.
If you go by the quality of the display this place looks amazing. Service, at least for the gelato side, is quick and friendly. Want a sample? Here it is, and you can sample as many flavors as you want. The "small" size being too scoops is just plain too big. However, the real issue, again, at least for the gelato, is that it is more quantity over quality. I was hoping for a much better experience, and it just wasn't there. Next time this one will be a pass for me.
This 24 hour cafe is located in the lobby of Caesars in Atlantic City right across Gordan Ramsey's pub and grill. The coffees here are good and their pizzas. When we first landed, we were starving and it was already really late to go out and hunting for food. Their pizzas are so good, crispy and delicious. They have plenty of options for you to choose from, breakfast, sandwiches, drinks, desserts and more. Will have to try their desserts the next time I fly down. The ladies always have such a warm happy energy which is so rare because I find that the workers in caesars are mean and easily irritable but not here. This place is 24 hours and they still have smiles on their faces. The ambiance is nice, many people looking for a quick bite to eat and they display all of their selections to make it easy for you to decide.
Over last 10 years, wherever we have been to Caesar's, we have stopped by this store for some reason. They have excellent collection of bakery goods, desserts, ice creams, hot and cold drinks. They have deli sandwiches too but I have never tried them. I do love their ice-creams and bakery foods. Their stuff are pricey, 2x-3x compared to a suburban store, but its the premium for being inside Caesar's. They are a lifeline for a lot of casino and hotel guests, during early morning and late night hours. I hope they keep doing well and remain open for a long time.
The staff here are sooo sweet. They address people by "what can I get for u love". The breakfast options are great. We ordered a bagel with cream cheese and a toasted croissant with ham and cheese. Was yummy Our bill including two coffees was $22.00. Not bad considering eggs at ramesy across the way is 23$ for eggs
Pros: It's 24 hours, it's one of the only breakfast places in Caesars and it's quick to grab. So if you have a room you can take it back easiy. Also the gelato was nice. The coffee was okay. Cons: crazy expensive for what you get because they know you don't have a lot of other options. The breakfast sandwiches aren't fresh, you grab them off a warmer like a convenience store but 3 times the price. You're better off finding the Dunkin.
Tazza is one of few 24 hour options at Caesar's Atlantic City. Another plus is the coffee is very good. After that, my enthusiasm drops. First of all, they have a two-case display of Gelato which is not exactly my favorite winter snack, so a misuse of space in December. The rest of the counter is stocked with premade 'gourmet' sandwiches that they will warm for you, as well as desserts which are pretty consistent with other casino offerings. The breakfast sandwiches have much room for improvement. I ordered a pork roll, egg and cheese on a bagel. It's premade/pre-wrapped. The bagel was doughy, the egg looked microwaved and the thick pork roll seemed more heated but not cooked enough for my taste. As for the pricing, this is known as a '2 for 1'. You have to spend $2 of earned casino comp money for every $1 of purchase. For example, a breakfast sandwich and two coffees for approx. $10 means you have to burn $20 of comp money. And lastly, there are only two tables with two chairs each from what I remember. Tazza is always there for you, I'll give them that, but I think it maxes out at 3 stars.
Place is located in the lobby across from Caesar check in and out. They have gelato, pastries, sandwiches, chips drinks ect..:. I will tell you, when asked if they take the reward card for comps or points, we were told, they are not part of Caesars. We brought 2 small red bulls, cost $11 plus. So, over priced yes. A small gelato, $4.80. We ordered banana flavored. Great flavor and taste.
The air conditioning was pumping hard in Caesars Palace and was a great spot for a break from the blistering sun on the boardwalk. Tazza Caffé was in this spacious open area next to Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill. Choices of Coffee, pastries and gelato. Ordered a large Lavazza Italian coffee - strong and tasty. The cashier was nice and able to break a one hundred dollar bill. Coffee served immediately. Plenty of tables to sit with my coffee about 25 feet away. Look up and the entire ceiling was clouds and blue sky surrounded by white statues of ancient roman times. Pretty cool spot to chill and people watch. read more
Check this place. It's got these beautiful cannolis and cakes up front . Beware . The kid gave me a cannoli from the back of the fridge . It was smaller - and not all the way filled inside . Aghh. Have them give you the one you want . It's easy- it was put in the bag and I didn't check- my mistake - next time I'll triple check wherever I'm at- Caesars in Vegas is beautiful and really a work of art . I ate here on a Wednesday evening around six o'clock, not because I wanted to, but because I had nowhere else to go. Caesars Atlantic City felt deserted, and Tazza Cafe was the last light left burning. It sits in the lobby like an airport quick service stand that learned a few big words and decided it was sophisticated. The desserts and sandwiches on display looked wonderful, the kind of food you might photograph before reality sets in. The glass case promised a feast for the eyes and a famine for the soul. I ordered a meatball sandwich on toasted ciabatta, a small bag of chips, and a soda. The total was just shy of thirty dollars, which made me nostalgic for a time when that kind of money could buy you hope. The meatballs were dense and flavorless, like someone had wrung all the joy out of them. The sauce was red and nothing more. The bread was there, technically, but it felt like a prop. Each bite filled me up while emptying something else inside me. The two employees behind the counter seemed deeply committed to doing as little as possible. Taking my order was an inconvenience. Serving it was a punishment. They moved with the urgency of people who had already decided that nothing really matters, and perhaps they were right. Tazza Cafe might be fine for a coffee or a pastry. The coffee smelled decent, even at 6 PM. The cakes and pastries looked lovely and harmless. But for anything more substantial, for anything meant to feel like dinner, it is a place best remembered as the only option when there are no options left. read more

This is really the best place in Caesar's Palace to grab a bite to eat. It's good, fast, and doesn't break the bank. Kudos to Caesar for having one affordable spot for those of us terrible at gambling and in need of food with the pennies we have left. Sandwiches, desserts, drinks, and so much more. I think you could eat here every meal and be happy. Not because you have to after Caesar takes you broke after record low machine payouts, but because it's just flat-out delicious and economical. Unlike lord Caesar. :) read more

Cafe in Caesar hotel and the customer service was sub-par. They were unfriendly, seemed annoyed when I asked to sample a second flavor and weren't very nice when we asked questions. Not only was the customer service bad but the gelato was just ok. We didn't even eat it all. We took a few bites and threw it away. It was just fair. Not sure I'd recommend this. Seems like they are other places to get a sweet treat that you'd actually enjoy more. read more

Nice option at Caesars registration, since the Starbucks at The Pier doesn't open until like 11AM... really?! Always pretty busy in the AM, the staff are machines and really get your order in and done in a quick amount of time. My go to order: cup of coffee with a shot and some steamed skim milk was always done well and was a nice jolt of caffeine. They have a million pastries and sandwiches available, along with bacon, egg and cheeses ready to go for take out. I do have to say, the banana's at $1 a pop was a complete rip. The bananas were so small and either over ripe or not enough. read more

A fast and easy option if you come to the hotel late and are staying in the tower right next to it. They have sandwiches and wraps, but more importantly tons of delicious baked goods! They are open 24/7 and the staff is always friendly which I appreciate. They are also the only place I have ever had an iced cappucino! My personal favorite was the chocolate cake they had. My hubby ordered a chicken cesar wrap, which tasted like airport food. Then again, it was like 4 am, so it might have been sitting there for awhile. The major downer is that they don't take any Total Rewards coupons/comps and also do not give you points either. Which really blows if you are spending $30 on just coffee and a danish. read more

We come here every year in February for a work conference. This place is a small stand inside caesars. It has mouth watering gelato selections and tons of fresh baked goods. It also has a all kinds of sandwiches and snacks. The lattes are delightful and we enjoy their cookies. This year we tried a tiramisu and a peanut butter cake pop. The tiramisu was surpassingly dry, but the cake pop was so rich and heavy I was glad it was so small. It's incredibly overpriced, but it's Atlantic City. Also the seating is a but strange. There's 3-4 tiny tables with a sign limiting it to 20 minutes! Welcome to Jersey, I guess! read more

I was under-enthused by the gelato, unfortunately, and should probably admit that I threw most of it in the trash. It reminded me of gelato I had at Tropicana a couple years ago, which also was a disappointment. Don't get me wrong. It's fine. Okay, really. But I didn't like that you couldn't order a single scoop, and that the two-scoop cost five bucks and some change. Maybe I've just been spoiled by the real thing, but I don't think I'd order it again on future trips. read more

I almost wish that I had tried the gelato instead. I ordered the california chicken wrap (ok..I thought that the spinach wrap was lettuce...not bread, but I take the blame for not asking). Although it was a respectable size wraph, the chicken was a little bit too salty and I didn't like the 2 day old look of the tomatoes. As for the red velvet cheesecake...there was not enough "cake" and chocolate for my liking. It tasted more like cheesecake that had been doused with red food color and it was sans whipped cream (I guess the CF has me spoiled). Sorry guys, at $17 this one is an L for me. read more

Gelato!!!?? Every Flavor?! 24 Hours??!! SAY WHAT?! This place is deliciozo!!! Looking for a healthier sweet tooth option, I stumbled upon this gem in the lobby. This place gives you the feel of a European parlor. Gelato is fresh and displayed beautifully. You can sample the flavors until your hearts content. I ordered the Pistachio and Coconut flavors. Pistachio is like a small piece of heaven. The fresh shavings of almonds coating the creaminess of the gelato. It's also CHEAP at $5.25 for 2 different flavors and great portion. I love the chocolate dipped waffle cone triangle that comes with it. This is great place to satisfy a late night craving. read more

This shop's overall 4-star rating accurately reflects my experience here. Though I don't know if their coffee is "delizioso," they do have a tasty-looking selection of pastries and gelato. I tried one of their chocolate bombs, and OMG it was rich. It was a bit too sweet for my taste, but if you like large sugary pastries, you will likely be happy with this place. There is also a paucity of seating, but I was lucky enough to snatch a seat at one of their 3 tiny little tables. As I ate my pastry, I watched the line grow at the Caesars hotel check-in. Apart from coffee and pastries, this place offers breakfast items, salads, and paninis - very convenient and affordable alternatives to the much less affordable restaurant options in Caesars resorts. read more

7.30.17 Tazza Cafe Delizioso, Caesars Atlantic City. NJ. Welcome to Caesars main reception Lobby. Are we a little hungry? Tazza Cafe is here just for you. You can Grab & Go, Hot Coffee, juices, sandwiches pastries, cakes, muffins! You name it, it's probably here. The staff was very friendly here, customer interaction was friendly and positive. Everyone here smiled and was very courteous. I spoke with the manager here several times during my stay at Caesar's he remembered me each time and and suggested some of his delicious specialties. Thank you for being open at all hours for the weary traveler. We'll see you folks again real soon. JIM D. read more
We were looking for some place to have a cup of tea as we were cold and because other places including starbucks close pretty early, we found this 24h open cafe. We did not plan to take any pastry but everything looked so delicious that we bought fruit tart and baklava. The tart was not very fresh but baklava was very sweeet just what I wanted. If you are looking for a spot to have something hot and sweet this is a good place, but be prepared to pay extra for it. read more
