We got the AC Sub, fried chicken sandwich, Neapolitan cake, cinnamon bun, and a blueberry muffin for just over $50. The sandwiches were toasted perfectly with a nice crunch. The AC Sub had a good spicy kick, and both were very filling. The Neapolitan cake was the standout with a fluffy texture and rich vanilla custard. The blueberry muffin was moist with big chunks of fruit. The cinnamon bun was okay but would have been better warmed up. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Check this place. It's got these beautiful cannolis and cakes up front . Beware . The kid gave me a cannoli from the back of the fridge . It was smaller - and not all the way filled inside . Aghh. I ate here on a Wednesday evening around six o'clock, not because I wanted to, but because I had nowhere else to go. Caesars Atlantic City felt deserted, and Tazza Cafe was the last light left burning. It sits in the lobby like an airport quick service stand that learned a few big words and decided it was sophisticated. The desserts and sandwiches on display looked wonderful, the kind of food you might photograph before reality sets in. The glass case promised a feast for the eyes and a famine for the soul. I ordered a meatball sandwich on toasted ciabatta, a small bag of chips, and a soda. The total was just shy of thirty dollars, which made me nostalgic for a time when that kind of money could buy you hope. The meatballs were dense and flavorless, like someone had wrung all the joy out of them. The sauce was red and nothing more. The bread was there, technically, but it felt like a prop. Each bite filled me up while emptying something else inside me. The two employees behind the counter seemed deeply committed to doing as little as possible. Taking my order was an inconvenience. Serving it was a punishment. They moved with the urgency of people who had already decided that nothing really matters, and perhaps they were right. Tazza Cafe might be fine for a coffee or a pastry. The coffee smelled decent, even at 6 PM. The cakes and pastries looked lovely and harmless. But for anything more substantial, for anything meant to feel like dinner, it is a place best remembered as the only option when there are no options left. read more

MY SUGGESTION FOR TAZZA CAFFE--Please treat your employees to a taste of everything you sell so that they can say first-hand what the product is like, and how they like it. THIS MATTERS!!! This is where you need to improve and then you will see your sales go up even more. My first night I enjoyed some gelato-it was refreshing. I was surprised that you did not have stratcciatella gelato, also known as chocolate chip gelato. I was mulling over a purchase of a blueberry muffin--TAZZA has two versions, which is very nice to see--a sugar-free and a regular with sugar. I thought I'd take it upstairs to have for breakfast in the morning until I could get down to a real breakfast at a restaurant or my fav Starbucks LOL. With a coffee maker in my room, the blueberry muffin would be great ; and I could enjoy a cup of coffee too. However, since no one working at Taza was able to tell me how wonderful the blueberry muffin was, I was very hesitant, so I did not buy it that first night. But I did buy it my second evening, and I landed up taking it home with me. I AM HAPPY TO TELL YOU THAT I just had the blueberry muffin now, and I must tell you it is one of the best blueberry muffins I have ever had in my entire life!! It was soft, Fresh with lots of beautiful and delicious flavorful blueberries. It's too bad no one was able to tell me. "...this is a great blueberry muffin!! " . I would've bought it every day. And I would have taken some home with me!!! I would have brought one over to the Luggage holding person, I would have given the bus driver a muffin! Another great item which I did purchase that first night was the clear box of BAKLAVA ($8) IMHO A VERY FAIR PRICE. I have made baklava, and I know that the ingredients are expensive. You are using fresh walnuts, honey, butter, and Phylo pastry among other things. I enjoyed this with coffee in my room the next morning. It was EXCELLENT!!! I did not try any other items this visit. If you go by the quality of the display this place looks amazing. Service, at least for the gelato side, is quick and friendly. Want a sample? Here it is, and you can sample as many flavors as you want. The "small" size being too scoops is just plain too big. However, the real issue, again, at least for the gelato, is that it is more quantity over quality. I was hoping for a much better experience, and it just wasn't there. This 24 hour cafe is located in the lobby of Caesars in Atlantic City right across Gordan Ramsey's pub and grill. The coffees here are good and their pizzas. When we first landed, we were starving and it was already really late to go out and hunting for food. Their pizzas are so good, crispy and delicious. They have plenty of options for you to choose from, breakfast, sandwiches, drinks, desserts and more. Will have to try their desserts the next time I fly down. The ladies always have such a warm happy energy which is so rare because I find that the workers in caesars are mean and easily irritable but not here. This place is 24 hours and they still have smiles on their faces. Over last 10 years, wherever we have been to Caesar's, we have stopped by this store for some reason. They have excellent collection of bakery goods, desserts, ice creams, hot and cold drinks. They have deli sandwiches too but I have never tried them. I do love their ice-creams and bakery foods. Their stuff are pricey, 2x-3x compared to a suburban store, but its the premium for being inside Caesar's. They are a lifeline for a lot of casino and hotel guests, during early morning and late night hours. I hope they keep doing well and remain open for a long time. read more

I visited Tazza Cafe at 9am on Monday, 3/18/24. I love croissants and always buy a few when at casino cafes. I was very disappointed as my croissants (plain and almond) were crusty and extremely flakey to the point where is was not enjoyable. Neither of them tasted fresh. I asked to replace the plain as I had eaten the almond. One employee told me that it was because it wasn't heated up. I asked to replace it with a fresh croissant, and he did. I took home the new croissant and found the same issue. It was not even close to seeming fresh. I also had ordered a donut, which also tasted a day old. This cafe should be sure to give out fresh pastries at 9am. It's not acceptable to eat something not fresh at 9am. I had a video but it didn't upload. If these pastries were in fact fresh, then I suggest a different way of baking. Customer service was good. No issue with them. read more

Cons: crazy expensive for what you get because they know you don't have a lot of other options. Tazza is one of few 24 hour options at Caesar's Atlantic City. Another plus is the coffee is very good. After that, my enthusiasm drops. First of all, they have a two-case display of Gelato which is not exactly my favorite winter snack, so a misuse of space in December. The rest of the counter is stocked with premade 'gourmet' sandwiches that they will warm for you, as well as desserts which are pretty consistent with other casino offerings. The breakfast sandwiches have much room for improvement. I ordered a pork roll, egg and cheese on a bagel. It's premade/pre-wrapped. The bagel was doughy, the egg looked microwaved and the thick pork roll seemed more heated but not cooked enough for my taste. As for the pricing, this is known as a '2 for 1'. You have to spend $2 of earned casino comp money for every $1 of purchase. For example, a breakfast sandwich and two coffees for approx. $10 means you have to burn $20 of comp money. And lastly, there are only two tables with two chairs each from what I remember. Tazza is always there for you, I'll give them that, but I think it maxes out at 3 stars. read more

It is not even close to a destination establishment, just one that serves overpriced food and drink to keep the general casino crowd nourished during all hours of the day / night. The grab and go setup is eerily similar to that of airport convenience food stands. Sandwiches, salads, bottled drinks, snacks, and croissants are the usual options; decent in quality but nothing life changing food wise. I think it's actually a better place for coffee than any of the above, living up to its cafe theme. Where I think they really excel is their desserts. The selection of macarons, cookies, freshly baked cakes, french pastries, and gelato/ice cream selection are absolutely stellar. Whether it's a personalized dessert, a cake for someone celebrating a special occasion, or just something sweet on the go, Tazza is definitely worthy of the praise. Want recommendations? I will tell you, when asked if they take the reward card for comps or points, we were told, they are not part of Caesars. We brought 2 small red bulls, cost $11 plus. So, over priced yes. This is really the best place in Caesar's Palace to grab a bite to eat. It's good, fast, and doesn't break the bank. Cafe in Caesar hotel and the customer service was sub-par. They were unfriendly, seemed annoyed when I asked to sample a second flavor and weren't very nice when we asked questions. Not only was the customer service bad but the gelato was just ok. We didn't even eat it all. We took a few bites and threw it away. It was just fair. Not sure I'd recommend this. What I remember was that they had multiple breakfast sandwiches, desserts, gelato, and plenty to choose from. Will probably bring back some macaroons if things go well. Tazza Cafe in Caesar's Casino in Atlantic City sells gelato. Bought this expensive gelato of two scoops in a cup and had the hazelnut and coffee flavors for like 7 dollars. The gelato was terrible, both flavors of which for the most part were flavorless. So disappointed! Do not bother to buy UNLESS you taste beforehand. The gelato was also too cold and had some fringe freezer burn. So just get something else cause I think their gelato is just not very good. Perhaps 2 stars is harsh but to charge so much for alleged gelato is not right. So disappointed! And yes I know what good gelato is having had plenty of it in Italy for much, much less. read more

Nice option at Caesars registration, since the Starbucks at The Pier doesn't open until like 11AM... really?! Always pretty busy in the AM, the staff are machines and really get your order in and done in a quick amount of time. My go to order: cup of coffee with a shot and some steamed skim milk was always done well and was a nice jolt of caffeine. They have a million pastries and sandwiches available, along with bacon, egg and cheeses ready to go for take out. I do have to say, the banana's at $1 a pop was a complete rip. We come here every year in February for a work conference. This place is a small stand inside caesars. It has mouth watering gelato selections and tons of fresh baked goods. It also has a all kinds of sandwiches and snacks. The lattes are delightful and we enjoy their cookies. This year we tried a tiramisu and a peanut butter cake pop. The tiramisu was surpassingly dry, but the cake pop was so rich and heavy I was glad it was so small. It's incredibly overpriced, but it's Atlantic City. Also the seating is a but strange. A fast and easy option if you come to the hotel late and are staying in the tower right next to it. They have sandwiches and wraps, but more importantly tons of delicious baked goods! They are open 24/7 and the staff is always friendly which I appreciate. They are also the only place I have ever had an iced cappucino! My personal favorite was the chocolate cake they had. My hubby ordered a chicken cesar wrap, which tasted like airport food. Then again, it was like 4 am, so it might have been sitting there for awhile. Although it was a respectable size wraph, the chicken was a little bit too salty and I didn't like the 2 day old look of the tomatoes. As for the red velvet cheesecake...there was not enough "cake" and chocolate for my liking. This place gives you the feel of a European parlor. Gelato is fresh and displayed beautifully. You can sample the flavors until your hearts content. I ordered the Pistachio and Coconut flavors. Pistachio is like a small piece of heaven. The fresh shavings of almonds coating the creaminess of the gelato. It's also CHEAP at $5.25 for 2 different flavors and great portion. We did not plan to take any pastry but everything looked so delicious that we bought fruit tart and baklava. The tart was not very fresh but baklava was very sweeet just what I wanted. This shop's overall 4-star rating accurately reflects my experience here. Though I don't know if their coffee is "delizioso," they do have a tasty-looking selection of pastries and gelato. I tried one of their chocolate bombs, and OMG it was rich. It was a bit too sweet for my taste, but if you like large sugary pastries, you will likely be happy with this place. This place was a life saver for some late night munchies! They're 24 hours, so once every other place had closed nearby they were perfect for some mid-drinking grub! They have a pretty decent selection of sandwiches and wraps, and the dessert options looked great! They do have drinks, chips, and a few snacks too. Quite a bit of healthier options, which I was digging. There's kind of something for everyone. The staff moves quick, but they were on point and get you in and out of there in good timing.
