If I could give this place zero stars for customer service, I would--specifically their tool repair…read moredepartment. Our Festool saw broke down while still under warranty. My husband brought it to Timber Woodworking Machinery under the impression that they could handle the repair process. He was told that the Festool representative comes in on Fridays and that he could leave the saw there (without the box), and the rep would pick it up and send it to Festool for warranty repair. We expected a relatively quick process--maybe two or three weeks. Instead, two months later, we were still calling for updates and receiving no clear answers about when we would get the saw back. No one could even provide a rough estimate. For a company associated with a premium brand like Festool, this level of communication was disappointing. Timber would not provide me with a direct contact number for Festool and continued giving the same vague explanation: that a part was delayed coming from Germany and nobody knew when it would arrive. I eventually found Festool's service ceneter's number myself and began communicating with them directly. After multiple conversations with Festool--one of which became unpleasant enough that it had to be escalated to management--we finally received a call from a Festool customer service manager, Melinda. She informed us that because the repair had taken so long, Festool would be replacing the saw with a brand-new unit. Finally, some good news. Unfortunately, none of that progress came from Timber Woodworking Machinery. We had to advocate for ourselves every step of the way. Less than a week later, Timber called to let us know our replacement saw had arrived. I went to pick it up immediately and was actually prepared to leave them a positive review despite the long delay. However, less than an hour after I got home, I received a call from shop manager Ray Ann claiming there had been a mix-up and asking me to return the Sustainer box and manual because they supposedly belonged to another customer. Seriously? At that point, my confidence in the entire process was gone. After months of poor communication, lack of updates, and confusion surrounding the replacement, this final incident only reinforced my impression that the repair process was poorly managed from start to finish. Festool ultimately resolved the issue by replacing the saw, and I appreciate them standing behind their product. Unfortunately, my experience with Timber Woodworking Machinery's repair department fell far short of the level of service we expected.

I drove to Tempe Power Equipment thinking that I would have to leave the chain saw and come back. Within a minute or so of arriving, I was greeted and asked why I'd come in. I told him that I was a bit embarrassed, but I needed the chains aw bits put together so I could safely use it. He took the chain saw; asked for the blade and chain and began assembling it for me as we chatted. He was personable and approachable. I didn't feel 'silly' after all. Within 15 minutes, the chain was in place and I was reaching for my wallet when he said, 'no charge'. He also took the time to give me a few safety tips and where/how to put oil in the little tank and how to read the gauge. I will definitely be going back (and paying) for the chain saw's maintenance (as well as any other suitable stuff I have about the house.

My experience with this Door and Trim Store was exhausting. It was so many issues with them. It's…read morehard to figure out where to start. They sell you products that their not familiar with, and will not replace anything after the fact. If you order anything from the store, make sure you double check it when you get it before you install it because they take no responsibility or fault for missing items on products. The doors were good, but the biggest issue I had was with their pocket door and barn door. I asked them about a pocket door that would extend across a certain size opening. They said they had two panel pocket doors, which I thought was a great idea. Well, the pocket door came without some hardware, and after 2-3 trips back to the store, we kept receiving the incorrect hardware, and we ended up paying for this incorrect hardware because they would not give it to us as part of the purchase. In order to make a long story short, the installer they requested, kept reminding us that we did not have all the hardware for the install. Currently, I have a two pane pocket door that is not secure. You need two hands to extend it out, and you can look in behind it and see all the dust and debris from the installation. They provided nothing that would shield you from seeing inside of the pocket door when it was open. Use them if you like, but just be aware that there are no refunds, and double check that you have all your hardware and pieces for any type of installation. We even ordered a barn door that was missing some screws for installation.

I told the salesman that I didn't want or need or order the frames I also said I ordered handles for the doors but he said that was not included. I told him to refund me the frames and get me a price on the handles. He told me the handles were the same price as the frames (hard to believe) I asked for a refund for the frames and they said all orders were final and no refunds are issued. They have terrible customer service UPDATE. After several bad reviews written on multiple sites I got a refund but the quality of the doors are not worth the money

When I inquired about the pickles (because i overlooked them), one of the gentlemen took be back to grab one, I ended up with two. I also opted to try to Kosmos rub for chicken. This is a great place for anything BBQ related, buying rubs and the pickles are very good. I highly recommend this location, but I'm sure their other locations in the valley are equally stocked.
