As of 4/10 they have not reached out to me once to schedule or provide any updates. I've reached out to them numerous times with no clear response. I was initially drawn to them by the 5 star reviews, but trust me and go elsewhere for your repairs. Turns out Sprague's has been acquired by a private equity firm as of 1/31. I'm guessing that is the issue but either way, be warned that customer service is the last thing you will receive if you deal with this place.

Our 4WD Audi slid off the side of the road, ending in DEEP snow all around the car, with the right side wheels in a ditch. I thought we were in real trouble. Steve and Devin from Johnston's showed up in less than 20 minutes after my wife called AAA. I could not be more impressed with the expertise they both demonstrated in freeing our car. From the very deep snow, they pulled the car, with my wife and dog still in it, backward onto a flat bed. They got to our house, then backed up the long curving driveway in very poor visibility and deposited the car just where I wanted it in front of the garage. On top their knowing exactly how to quickly resolve a difficult situation, they couldn't have been more pleasant. The gave us a Happy Ending, to what could have been really terrible. Was told "Sorry, we're at 140% of capacity. We won't even start your car for two weeks." Was told that they're now making appointments for 6 weeks out. Got a pathetic, half-hearted "Sorry for wasting your time." As I walked out. I understand they may be over booked. I understand they may not know how to accommodate scheduled body work. They didn't realize this yesterday? Or a week ago? Wait for me to accommodate their drop off time, let me show up and then get told they have other, more important customers. They didn't realize the day before that they couldn't handle the work? I'd rather go to any other body shop that can respect my time than to ever step foot in a caliber collision EVER again!

I had problem with a tire, I drove to Oriskany Garage, explained to the gentleman at the counter that I was on a tight schedule. It was lunchtime - most of their workers were on Lunch break, but the moment the first of their workers returned, he went to work on my car. Just a short while later, my tire was fixed, and they put my car up on a lift to make sure all the other tires were ok. I was able to maintain my schedule. All the employees were gentlemen. They took extra care to make sure all was well with my car..... attention to detail, which is found so rarely these days. Very well managed business..... and the price was SO reasonable. I went here with my sister to buy a car. She fell is love with a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe. She paid…read morealmost $6,000 for this piece of crap. We worked with Dave the son. Dave the father is a crazy mouthy old man that called me crazy for complaining on my sisters behalf. Told me I wasn't a man because I was filing a complaint with DMV. After she bought it we discovered the car never legally passed inspection, the rear tires were so bald I had more tread in the wrinkles on my forehead. The balljoints were bad, the tie rod end fell off in the driveway, the ABS wires and sensors were torn off the rear wheels and the fuse was removed so the warning light on the dash was not on. The brakes are completely shot, the gas tanks leaked and they cut the exhaust in half to repair it instead of removing it like a real mechanic would have done. Now the exhaust rattles down the road. The emergency brake doesn't work. Look at these tires, they claim these tires passed a legal NY State Inspection. These guys took advantage of my sister who is also a single mom with 4 kids. Also see the photo of the tie rod ends that fell out, you can see how busted up they are and these are suppose to be checked to pass a legal inspection. This dealer is a crook. We brought the car back for repairs, they took it for over a week and never fixed anything and refused to tell us where the car went to get repaired. When we got the car back it was worse. The windows didn't work, center wheel caps were missing and it almost appeared as though they took parts off our car for a similiar car they had on their car lot. As we were waiting another customer, "gloria" said her car had a broken frame and she bought it like that. She said she didn't have a choice because nobody else would finance her. This place needs to go out of business. D&D Auto Body and Auto Sales in Utica NY is a hazardous place to buy a vehicle. They take advantage of people with low credit or low income and sell them dangerous cars that won't even pass a NY State Inspection. DO NOT GO HERE.
