I just have to say this was hands down one of the best pedicures I've ever had! I just moved to WA and a friend suggested we go to her spot to get pedicures (TD nails). I made an appt the day before we were seated right away and the salon was busy but they had so many people working! They have a huge selection of polishes! I got the gold pedicure with gel polish. So it's been 12 days since my last visit. I'm sure my shellac nails would have lasted longer if I didn't start picking at it, which is such a bad habit. I texted Mindy late Thursday and she was able to see me the next day. I cannot begin to explain how gentle she is with my nails. She's very conscientious and passionate about her work. I just love her to pieces. I also had a kind gentleman, Kenny, who helped Mindy take off my old shellac. He was very pleasant to talk to as well. It's disheartening to write this, but its hit or miss at this place and a big miss for my latest visit. Here is my most recent experience... I never feel like what I say is understood and I try to be cordial to the obvious language barrier. Are they even happy to be working here? I showed a picture of a basic pedicure flower design I wanted to have done. The gal did something different, more complicated looking and not attractive, so I was stuck with it. I asked for a clear diamond to be added, she added a multi-colored one that she picked out. Maybe she could have communicated to me and asked if they did not have a clear one available? The design she did failed, the stone rolled down to the bottom of my toe as it was drying because she rushed and did the whole design right away without letting the nail polish dry first before glueing it. She went off to work on another person's nails. I told another gal next to me that it failed as I saw it had rolled down so she called her over. She had to redo my one toe and did a sloppy job the 2nd time. She never sprayed the toes with nail polish hardening solution. I then had to wait longer for the new toe to dry, which was not a big deal, but then she never came back to check in or help me put on my flip flops. I can do so, but it helps not to mess up your toes to get help with it. She also cut my 3rd toe as I was bleeding when I left because the pressure on my foot from walking suddenly made it bleed. A few days later, my pedi was already chipping and I have never seen this happen so fast previously. Again, she seemed much more concerned with doing the nails of another who appeared to work there also. Not sure why paying customers are treated so poorly. I felt like I was disrupting her day, and any request was simply disregarded. Why? Do they really not want the business? Again, this was a big miss, other times with other gals have been great. This person should NOT be doing pedicures at all with how mine worked out. Her sweater had the word CELINE on it. read more

I went to try out this nail salon based on a recommendation from a friend. The first time I went, I loved the color powder dip I got but it was only dipped twice and ended up not lasting very long at all. My friend had gotten a beautiful color on her nails so the second time I went I was hoping to have a better experience. Unfortunately they didn't have the color I was hoping to get but the one I ended up choosing was just as pretty! I was giving this place a second chance but wasn't impressed again. All my nails are uneven in length and I already have a chip at the tip of my thumb nail. I went here to get my nails done on 7/24/21. Tony the owner started on my nails , when doing my nail he wasn't friendly at all . Tony was pulling and snatching my hands as he saw fit , he had a attitude it wasn't like I owe him something for him doing my nails , the nerve right in the middle of a pandemic!!!! . It wasn't because this place was busy it was only 4 other clients there , in which one client was getting a pedicure . I am thick skinned so I can overlook a lot . But what really caught my attention was then I saw how all the employees was giving the clients shoulders massages Tony never offer me a massage. How don't get me wrong , I didn't want a massage I would have decline , however he never offered. When it was time to paint my nails he had Maria his wife finish my nails and started helping a new client within time he offered her a massage and started massaging her shoulders right next to me. How insulting Tony is a very bias & arrogant man that have no problem showing this negative behavior also I presented a two dollar coupon that they had sent me online and he refused to honor it $2 really???? The quality of work is horrible. They don't listen to their customers.. I went there for a basic Medicare and pedicure they were trying to force me to get the gel tip and I kept trying to tell them that I'm I don't want that. I just want basic manicure. Went back and talked to Tony and explained that I was hoping my dipped nails would last more than 3 days....Linda did not fix them and applied a clear coating instead. Today I noticed 7 nails losing their color. Weird stuff. Called Tony and tried to explain the situation again since he did see my nails last Monday. Basically he said my nails lasted too long and now I will have to pay for another manicure. Sad that my business relationship with this local business has come to an end. My place has been closed for a month ( the beloved owners on a well deserved vacation), I used another place in Berkley for a fill in and honestly at this point I am over my acrylic nails, they just don't look as well as they could. My place is still closed for a few weeks and I just wanted my nails off. I tried to do it at home but it was not worth the mess and aggravation. This placed WAY over charged for a take off and simple manicure. I could have had a new set put on for the same price. My nails are all ragged and uneven. I seriously didn't even tip due to how much he robbed me for this service. I will not use this place again. DO not go there, there are far better places a mile north. Every person who worked on my nails was friendly and fun to chat with. Unfortunately, the quality is *very amateur* for the nail dip. They have a lot of options for colors, but the end product is lumpy, misshapen, and easily breakable. I normally can go at least three weeks (usually four weeks) before breakage (I've been doing nail dip for 6 years now), but every time I went there (I went for about 5 months), a nail would break within a day. Last time I went there, the quality was so bad I literally cried when I left. No matter how many times I would tell them the nails were extremely crooked and they would likely break or the fact they weren't the length we had discussed and decided upon nor were they the same lengths from nail to nail, they wouldn't listen. I decided to just fix them myself when I got home and I haven't been back since. Worst experience I ever had at a nail salon. My daughter and I made appointments because she was going away to college. We showed up 15 mins early but were sat 10 mins after the start of our appointment. That was the first strike. Second strike is we sat with our feet in the pedicure tubs for 20 mins before anyone came to acknowledge us. During my pedicure the lady who was doing my feet cut the skin on my middle toe to the point it bled. She didn't apologize or ask me if I was ok, just applied pressure and kept on her merry little way. Strike three. Then during the filing she was buffing my toes instead of the nail. It was at this point I sent my daughter a text and asked if the lady was new. I had never experienced something like this. She went back to the toe she had cut earlier and freaking cut it again to the point where I pulled my foot away. Honestly, she should not be allowed around customers bodies with a sharp object and I'm not trying to be funny. She genuinely hurt me. She does my French tip on my toes that looked like someone took a wide marker and painted a huge stripe, I might as well have white toenails. Over and hour in the pedicure chair and she tells me she's new. Super. I get everyone starts somewhere, but when it comes to using sharp objects on peoples bodies maybe have a little more experience. After the debacle in the pedicure chair we are moved to get manicures. The person who did my daughters had a nasty nasty wet cough. He did have a cloth mask on but he never attempted to cover his mouth during his nasty coughing fit or his sneezing, instead just sending particles right on through his worthless mask. I'm honestly disgusted by this place. I'm normally a great tipper but I left them nothing. There are FAR better nail salons around that wont cut you and will give you a quality nail job without exposing you to nasty body fluids. Do yourself a favor and find one of those salons. read more

DONT GO HERE! Worst nail place i've been to by far. The employees are rude, my friend and i were the only two customers in there and the horrible job they did took 3 hours. They were so harsh on our fingers to the point that almost all of them were bleeding, and didn't stop because they didn't become any more gentle with them once they had tore up my cuticles. We ended up leaving with my friend having hers unfinished because they had gotten up and we're all sitting in the back eating food and watching television so we got up and left. This is my normal nail salon and I love it so much. But when you ask for a nail fix and they completely reshape your nails. One hand is square and the other hand with the fix is coffin. $40 for a fix? Unacceptable. I will sadly be finding another nail salon. Got my nails done two days later because my usual nail tech is booked and I'm going out of town. Awful. I told her while she was doing my nails that the acrylic didn't go all the way down (see pictures) here I am two days later with a broke nail and polish chipping on my thumb. I called for an appointment asking if Tina was there today for an acrylic fill and they confirmed an appointment with her then when i got there she wasn't in today and I was put with another person. I had a few nails missing and had asked to have my nails shortened a little bit but she only shortened the 3 new nails that were put on so they were shorter than the rest. The Seattle nail gods have answered my prayers. After going to a suntan salon and talking to a girl who had the prettiest nails I have ever seen she referred me to TD nails. I called made an appointment over the phone paid over the phone told him what I wanted and they also have Crystal nail bows!!! They just need more 3-D nail art and this place will be the best place in Seattle.my only other recommendation paint the ceiling black it is outdated and the color is not very nice. Lani did my nails & she knows what she's doing. I have been here once or twice in the past few years but I always notice that my friends have the coolest designs and patterns on their nails & it always comes from this place! I wanted a specific pattern done and Lani suggested doing shellac on top of my acrylics. I love the "no dry time" that you get from shellac, but in my opinion it really just peels off your nails within a few days. I really love the thick & rock hard feeling my nails have when I have acrylics, so combining the two was smart. Haven't had my nails done in forever, so I had a full set put on with shellac on top. $43 total. Seemed a tad steep but I know I won't be needing a full set every single time I'm in, so the price will be a little less next time. read more
