My daughter and I were looking for a substitute nail salon on Memorial Day as our usual was closed for the holiday. We found Coco Nails closer than our normal salon, hidden in a little plaza behind Safeway and next to Wasabi Bay. We were a walk-in and I immediately noticed how clean the salon was. There was no smell of nail polish or anything chemical. The salon is small, with four chairs for pedicures and three manicure tables. There were four technicians working and one that appeared to be helping with payments and assisting the technicians with hot towels, etc. My daughter got a mani pedi with color (20+25: 45 total). I requested a regular mani (no color) (28) and a French shellac pedi (57). These are pretty on par with the costs in this area - I feel they were more than fair given the EXCELLENT service we both received. Normally this would be under an hour service for both of us but we were attended to and honestly pampered with the care that we received. Even though my mani was a simple service, it was done meticulously and looked over by two technicians. I believe the main technician who took care of my mani and my French polish was Jennifer, the owner. She was very attentive to small details and asked me how I wanted my French, ensuring that it looked exactly as I wanted. Communication was on point and I thoroughly enjoyed the massage for both my mani and pedi. All in all, after tip, our total came to 151. There is a 1 dollar fee for credit cards, no AMEX taken here so be sure to have cash or use VISA/Mastercard. Wow! I loved my experience at Coco's - this was my first time and I will definitely be back. Jennifer was very friendly when I first arrived late and was very accommodating. The pedicure was good - I wish they would have shaped my toenails a bit but my hands made up for it and it was fast. The lady who did my nails (gel French tip) was phenomenal- she was fast and gentle with a few cuts I had on my palm. Only $75 for my set, which is very fair compared to some places in mill creek. I've been going to Coco Nails for 20+ years and they recently were bought by new owners. Had a great experience today! We had a mix up with appointments and services and they were so nice about it! The big screen plays videos often interrupted by loud commercials. They charge a service fee if you use a credit card. I don't understand the employees' conversations and comments to the owner due to the foreign language barriers. However, I sense the the nature of the communications is not well intended. I'd love to give this place a four star because of the vibe and owners. Everyone was smiling and laughing and everyone knew everyone. I loved it. The very first time I went in I had the owner do my nails and she was amazing and very down to earth. The second time I came in again wonderful full service but this time I wanted to try facial waxing and the lady that worked on me had very bad breath and she burned me repeatedly. I had to ask for someone else to help. They were accommodating, thanks goodness. Not a big deal it happens but the third time the lady the did my nails kept cutting me when clipping my cuticles. I like to be fair and give businesses the benefit of the doubt but fourth time was the same as the last and all different ladies so that was it for me. Not the place for me especially for the price. Tried Coco's for the first time for a pedicure and I was very impressed. My technician did a great job on the prep, massage and the polish. She was very thorough with the clean up around the cuticle and edges. My nails have ridges and I have found many places skimp on the second coat and top coat. She did two coats and nice shiny top coat. I have found my new go to pedi spot!!!!! read more

This place is absolutely beautiful inside and out. There's plenty of parking and it's in a safe area, conveniently close to Mill Creek Town Center. I popped in on Labor Day without an appointment. I had my nails done at another place previously and it was so so. I was shocked that Coco Nails was open on Labor Day and willing to fit me in. I didn't have to wait at all and was seated right away. I had the pleasure of Jennifer doing my nails. She gave me an acrylic fill and really took her time. One nail was lifted so bad that she had to remove the whole nail. My usual experience is they just pop it off with something, but Jennifer took the proper precautions to protect my natural nail by filing and soaking in acetone. She did beautiful cuticle clean up and did not once hurt me through out the service. She wasn't happy with the way one nail turned out and redid it. She stayed after closing time to ensure everything looked beautiful. I was ready to pop up and she let me know she wasn't quite finished and applied cuticle oil, lotion as well as retrieved a hot towel to close the service. The whole time her husband was thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting every surface of the salon. Overall it has been almost 3 weeks and my nails have held up! I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail. She has found a customer for life! Excellent job!! read more

Update: downgraded this review from 3 star to 1 star after developing an infection in my finger. Ive never had this happen after getting a manicure! Went here on a whim, we usually frequent another salon not to far away, but wanted to try something else. We stopped in here and there wasn't a single soul in the salon. My daughter and I both got manicures, the ladies were both very nice, my daughter loves her paint job. I'm really glad I checked my polish choice (couldn't see it through the bottle) because the lady grabbed the wrong color. I wanted a bright pink and she grabbed a dark maroon color. My paint job is great, but they could have paid better attention to other areas on my fingers. My biggest gripe about this place is I have no idea if their tools are sterilized because they just pull them out of a ziplock bag. Also, the paint color I selected was called cats eye, really pretty, but what they don't tell you is it's more expensive because they have to use a magnet to achieve the design, which really isn't worth it on a light color..... you can barely see the design. Overall I probably won't be back and I'll stick with my usual spot because i know their tools are clean. read more

When I arrived my friend and I both got full sets and it was about 10 minutes until closing. The ladies stayed until an hour after closing to finish our nails! I could tell towards the end they were getting tired, the nail polish was a little bit on my actual finger and they did charge me $5 for having longer acrylics. Overall pleased with the work but I do think if I would've came earlier I would've been more satisfied with the work. read more

First off, you could tell the guy was in a rush because their were other people waiting. Second, I told him I like my nails straight and more square, specifically not rounded.. he is filing the sides and rounding them, filed my thumb nails so short after I specified length so I had to file the rest shorter to match. I do not like being able to see the skin after the nail end as I thinK it looks boyish, everyone has a right to their own preference. I also pointed out that the polish didn't go to each side of the nail and he said okay, he will fix it and then I leave and I can see the edges of most of the nails so it looks like a five year old did them!! shellac or any polish is supposed to cover your entire nail bed including next to the skin where the nails starts. Third, half of them look lumpy, you can tell in this pic by looking close but it's a lot more prominent in person. Not a smooth surface. I am not happy paying for these as I could've done them better myself with regular polish. Will not be going back or recommending them. read more

I had a pedi, shellac mani and eyebrow wax done for a trip. I always have shellac mani for trips. A few days into the trip, the shellac began to pop off and before 2 weeks out, all the shellac was peeling off. I went in to complain about this. This was my first shellac at Coco Nails. I've never had this problem before. I went in to let the owner know what happened. She did not offer to give me a credit or compensate me in any way. She acted like she didn't believe me. I almost wanted to give 2 stars because the staff was kind to me but thinking back to my experience I had a really bad time at this salon and I am trying to warn everyone!!!! I will never come back! Came in to get a shellac pedicure, instead of wrapping my toe nails in foil and letting them soak, the lady proceeds to peel off the polish from my nails with a nail clipper.. very damaging to the nail! And since I am a shy person, I let her finish. I regret it. When coming to pay, I was overcharged (didn't notice till I left). I called the salon back and they first accused me of picking a more expensive pedicure, which I told them I didn't do, then they finally said if I had the receipt they would talk to me about refunding. I don't live in Mill Creek so it is very out of the way to come back. Wish they were more attentive to detail... never going back. Ever. Not even for my refund. Too upset! read more

I have been going to Coco Nails for about 9 years. The professional care and attention I receive is consistent. The foot/leg massage you receive is heaven. The staff take their time and never make me feel hurried, even if they are busy. The staff is always friendly, and take an interest in me. They remember a past conversation and will ask a follow up question, like, "How is your husband doing?"or "Did you get the job promotion?" These women have become friends. I look forward to my manicures and pedicures. And I LOVE the remodel. The calming blue walls and beach theme is so relaxing. The owner, Kim and staff Amy and Lee are the best! Stopped into Coco Nails when I was out running errands and was too far away from my regular place. I got a basic mani and pedi. The polish on my fingernails was peeling off in large chunks literally an hour later. Granted, it was just clear polish, but I feel like it should have lasted at least a week.
