Long story short: The order was wrong, the food was sad...and now I am sad...and hungry. Long story: We order from here every now and then hoping for the best and have found our food progressively disappointing. They often do not deliver but we got "lucky" tonight, got excited and placed our order! After making a long 5 hour drive home from the holiday weekend, we were ready for some hot and delicious food! We ordered a chicken saltibucco with angel hair and stuffed shells in rosa sauce. When the nice delivery guy showed up, I wished we checked the order because what we got was not what we ordered. I got a chicken saltimbucco that was FLOATING in a greasy unrecognizable sauce and my pasta that should have come with my meal was in a rosa sauce on the side. So, needless to say I couldn't even use th pasta to soak up the "sauce" or whatever it was. The chicken dish was overall just awful and the shells, in the marinara sauce and not in the rosa sauce as ordered, were "so so". Since I was hungry after not being able to eat my chicken, I decided to nibble on a roll...no luck. Rolls were hard and all there was left was a salad. If I wanted a salad for dinner, I would have ordered a salad. We called to let them know that our order was incorrect and they offered to remake it. Although that was very nice of them, there was no way that I was waiting another hour for a greasy chicken dish and 'so so' shells. No thanks. They were kind to offer us a credit on our next order and we accepted. However, unless something changes at this place, we have no intention on ever ordering again or redeeming this credit. Somoene convince me...I'll listen. Until then...we'll stick to other great conshy take outs and suggest that you do, too. read more

The hoagies and cheesesteaks here are pretty good for the suburbs, although they do pale in comparison to Lenny's and Lou's. The meats are fresh and lean, and the portions are generous. Try the South Philly hoagie or pepper, egg, and cheese with extra caramelized onions. The Italiano steak is also pretty good, and it comes with plenty of melted provolone and sauteed spinach, which I actually like better than the broccoli rabe that is offered at most other places. The highlight of the menu, at least for me, is the salad selection. I love the honey mustard chicken salad, which comes with plenty of fresh veggies, bacon crumbles, croutons, egg, and extra cheddar (no charge for an extra 2 toppings too!); the grilled chicken is flavorful and nicely marinated and there is plenty of it, too. I usually get the honey mustard dressing, which is sweet and creamy. A large is about $8, and it will easily last 2 meals, especially since they also give you garlic bread rolls. Try it with the chilli (make sure you request sour cream, cheese, and onions with your cup/bowl). Pastas and entrees are tasty and very good for a takeout place. Just make sure that you call ahead so that your order is ready when you go to pick up because the wait can be long during dinner hours and on weekends. I've been coming here for over 10 years, and they are still just as friendly and great as ever. My wife is obsessed with these wings!! You gotta ask for them well done and then it's really good. I'm not a huge wing guy but even I admit they're delicious. Used them for some take out on New Year's Eve, and everybody raved about the food. Just recently had them make chicken fingers and wings for a party. If you need a quick lunch, the menu is massive and you should find something you like. I love their wrap lunch combo but they are usually extremely messy. Just got takeout here for the first time with my boyfriend. They have the BEST Vodka sauce we've ever had.. This used to be our go to place for reasonably priced Italian food. However, there have been some changes lately. First the prices increased. Then for a while they stopped taking the coupons that they used to have. Now they are not delivering past 4 PM which is surprising since they seemed to be doing a good business with delivery. Ordered a cheesesteak tray for my husband's birthday party. We had 12 people over. We decided to do a few different types of sandwiches, and that adds $10 to the advertised $40 price for a cheesesteak tray. (Not a complaint--I feel this was fair.) They were super helpful putting the tray together. I ended up doing a chicken parm, meatball parm, italiano chicken grilled, veggie parm, chicken cheesesteak and regular cheesesteak. When I came to get it they asked if I wanted fried onions on the side--YES (but it took another 5 minutes to cook), and extra red sauce. The sandwiches are huge, and they cut them into three slices a piece. It fed everyone happily and we had two pieces of sandwich left over. I also grabbed a medium garden salad (catering menu), which was huge! Next time I would get a fancier salad I think. I watched some delicious-looking meals come across the counter as I waited for those onions...lasagna, grilled salmon, lots of pasta, calamari...I have so much to try here! If you are looking to "cater" a small get-together, I would highly recommend this and will definitely do it again! Great place for italian take-out! My Husband and I love this place. We go here for take out once a week. We get the shrimp scampi, meatballs with pasta and meat sauce, two side salads come with the entrees, and garlic bread. It's always more than we can eat and consistent. It's ready for pick up in 15 minutes or less. I always get the coupons in the mail or online which helps bring it down a bit. Most of the time we spend about 25 or so on dinner. The staff behind the counter are very nice. I highly recommend! Only downside is when Rita's is open, it can be a pain to park and navigate through people in this parking lot. read more

they were running a christmas in July special for gift certificates - $80 for $100. I called and asked if you could use the gift certificates for catering and asked prior to purchasing the cards ifthey could be sued for catering - both times yes! I purchased $800 of certicates and booked a party for 105 people. The owner just called me a week before the party and left the rudest message I have ever heard - He would not honor the gift certicates and there is no way he is catering this party b/c I ripped him off. NEVER have I dealt with a business owner so rude. No where did it say that you could not do this and they also said gift certicates needed to be used in July. What BS! He should not have run the special. I will never use them for catering or frequent their restaurant again! read more

I have been going here since Lou used to cook. Boy have things changed! Lately, it appears that no one can get an order correct. Then when you realize the order is wrong, in your kitchen, they won't even deliver the correct sandwich. I had to get back in my car and drive back to the Ridge in rush hour traffic. They advertise delivery but of course the night there was a mistake...she said only two people were there. I saw four. No compensation for me having to drive back out, except for the free dessert. Had a large order delivered to my house and the delivery guy pocketed the money except for $150.00 that he said he THOUGHT was his tip. Pretty big tip, wouldn't you say !!!!!! They put the whole bill on my credit card so they ended up charging me twice. When I called to speak to someone they were so rude to me and would not give me the delivery guys name or the owner's name. Pretty shady customer service. Wouldn't you say !!!! Police report filed. My Job has been ordering from T'Dori for 5 years and today will be our LAST DAY. My co-worker ordered a Large Shrimp Ceaser salad and was only given 2 SHRIMPS. We called and spoke with Megan, Megan was very nice and apologized for the inconvenience and stated a replacement or a refund would be issued. My Co-worker decided to get a different salad. We were told by Megan a replacement will delivered shortly. Well shortly was not the case, when we called and asked where the salad was, the Manager got on the phone and said we got what we ordered and a new salad would not be coming out and all sells are final. How can a business treat their customers this way? Not only are they not giving her a different salad that I forgot to mention was $9 bucks. They are also telling her she is out of money. This is totally ridiculous. T'Doris has messed up big time. My job is open 7 days a week and I have viewed your Delivery cars here at least 3times a week. After placing a large food order for NYE, I was really looking forward to a stress free evening. The chicken parm, meatballs, baked penne and shrimp were all fantastic. The cookie tray, though, was less than desirable. For the full tray, every single cookie was oatmeal raisin. I called today to see if there is anything that could be done - as I was happy with everything else.... And was told that the manager said that there is absolutely nothing that can be done. I was told that the cookie trays are out of their control.... I spent $450 and simply asked for a return of the cookie tray (which is still sitting in my kitchen in case they wanted it back). After being told that there was nothing that could be done, I realized that I would not be returning my business. Had the manager worked something out for the tray of stale cookies, I would have rated T'Dori much higher. The customer service really turned me off. I wish that I could let the owner know directly - rather than writing a Yelp review. But after the phone call that ended up going nowhere, I wasn't sure where to turn. read more

I work nearby T' Dori and decided to try to walk in for take out with the idea being that I would have enough time to take my lunch to a park nearby and eat it over the course of my lunch hour. Sadly, what happened was that they were so busy filling the large call in orders that they overlooked my food (and me) and left it sitting in the back. I had to prompt the staff to please have a look for my meal after many people came and went with food ( walk in people who had ordered after me). They acted like it was a bother to check but my food was sitting in the back; I paid and left with only about 10 minutes of my lunch hour to spare. The sweet potato fries were dried out to the point of being partially crispy and partially soggy and cold as was my sandwich which should have been hot given that I ordered in person. I keep seeing others rating this place high and I can only surmise that they give priority to large call in orders at the expense of walk-ins. Nonetheless I will never go back because my meal was horrible, hot food was cold, and they did not treat me well. They need a system for prioritizing orders so that orders are processed at the front counter in the order they are received. First visit was also last visit because I simply do not have time to take a chance on them again. read more
