Love the vibe in here and so glad I stopped. In a very good location near Hobby Lobby and In and Out. Lots on the menu to choose from and lots of add ons. I had a hard time choosing and the drink specialist had to help me choose. Loved my Lavender Macchiato it was amazing. I recommend stopping amd giving this cute Tea shop a visit! read more

A decent boba place. I got the Thai milk tea and tiramisu and it was good, nothing extraordinary though. The tiramisu was $6 for a small piece and it was okay, definitely not worth that price. Overall a decent place. read more

Really, really good boba. The first great boba I've had in San Diego since living in L.A. and the Bay Area. We got the osmanthus oolong milk tea with reduced sugar, and it had just the right balance of tea fragrance, creaminess, and sweetness. Popcorn chicken was on point too! read more

I was so excited to try this place when I first heard of it. And when I did finally stop by it is as wonderful as I had thought it would be!! This place has all kinds of tea/drinks/snacks, the prices are very affordable, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing with friends. Their boba is always fresh and the employees working here are always so sweet (they always give generous servings and make the drinks look Instagram worthy too!) I haven't stopped coming back since I discovered it (my sugar intake is getting a little high at this point but worth it) and I highly recommend to try it! It is definitely one of the best boba spots in North County if not THE best boba place to go to! read more

Very cute interior! I ordered two drinks, the Galaxy Sunrise and the Uji Matcha Frappe. The Galaxy Sunrise Tea is a fruit mix of passionfruit, mango and peach with chia seeds. It wasn't too sweet, nice and refreshing! The Uji Matcha Frappe has the popular whipped creme around the cup filled with the matcha slush. It was a great mix! The whipped creme is similar to other teas shops brulee cream that is sweet and it matches well with the pure matcha slight bitterness. I can see why it was one of the most popular! *** Reviewed During Covid *** I came here after being told about this place from my friend. I had some free time so I decided to come and check it out. Coming in, I noticed the signs in the front saying you could order online. Masks required. I came in and with it being my first time, I studied the menu for a little bit. I asked the gal behind the counter what some of their more popular drinks are and she gave me two suggestions and that was it. Nothing about what was in it, what time of drink it is (milk tea or whatever) and just looked at me blankly like she had something else better to do. I placed my drink, over paid for the disgustingly watered down drink with boba. Will I come back here again?? Probably not. I'll make the extra drive to Convoy and get better drinks with a more friendly staff. read more

I have been looking for a place in San Marcos that sells popcorn chicken. All the places I have tried lacked the crunch within each bite. This place has good quality popcorn chicken and it was very clean. Staff was nice and the lady who helped me was generous with the amount of spice she put in my chicken. First time back after the name change! I had the matcha with strawberry and the oolong with sweet sea cream. Both were really good and sweet! I called ahead to order drinks and it was ready by the time I got there (less than 7min). I'll be back again. First word that came to mind when I sipped on my Passion Sunrise (I think that's what it was called) with boba was yum this was fruity and refreshing and delicious. I love tea amo and I am always coming here for boba. It is delicious, the place is cute and I have never had any issues until tonight April 17th around 7:45 pm, I came in and asked for a large milky way with boba and the cashier responded saying it already came with boba and if it was okay which i said yes. My bf ordered his and again she responded to his drink order with it comes in large already because its a specialty drink, when we get our order my drink is in regular which i go up and say Im sorry i ordered the large and she snapped at me saying no that i could upgrade for 50 cents more to a large. I never print out the receipts but she did charge for a large. She rolled her eyes and said she will just make it but the drink was flavorless and it just made me upset because I love this place and this was the first time I've had a bad experience and I don't want it to ruin it for me. read more

I went to Tea Amo since my friend was interested in it. We love boba hopping so we were excited to go. The atmosphere was so aesthetically pleasing, and the workers were friendly. They had many drinks to choose from, but I chose Taro Milk Tea with boba. It was good and is made with non-dairy creamer which is nice. The boba itself was a little too chewy for my liking, but nevertheless good. Would I come again? Yes, but it wouldn't be my first option. I'm determined to come back though and try more! read more

Tea Amo was awesome! My friends & I went as we all love boba & consider ourselves "boba connoisseurs" lol! but i really loved the vibe created by the sweet employees! my only reason for taking off a star is that their boba was a little too chewy for us, however i loved that they had a wide selection on their menu! Not sure if other people rate this place so high because of the aesthetically pleasing place but other than that I would say that this place is not worth the drive or wait. Went in and was blankly stared at by the barista and the cashier, they seemed mad that me and my brother wouldn't hurry up in choosing a drink. Keep in mind that me and my brother are very considerate of others and we don't like holding up the line, but there was literally no one after us. It was our first time so we wanted to try something different that made this place stand out. Overall I can say it was pretty eh, just tasted like watered down lemonade & some juice with boba. read more

Meh...the service was pretty sub par. The server wasn't enthusiastic about describing the drinks. I could tell he was kinda bored. I can't quite recall the names of the teas...brown sugar something and a galaxy of some sort. The brown sugar just tasted like sweet milk with sugar and tea. The boba balls were not very firm. I was expecting them to be chewier-- they had a mushy texture. The lack of enthusiasm from the server is the reason I won't come back. I may have given it another try, had the service been better. We had our dogs with us and they didn't offer them a drink like other places. read more

This place is pretty solid. It's right near Kung Fu Tea and Ding Tea. It's much less crowded and I feel like the customer service is just a little kinder. Their prices are also better than Ding Tea and Kung Fu Tea. Their selection is smaller, but what they have is really good. Recently, I found myself in San Marcos and decided to give it another shot at this location and I'm so glad I did! I've been back a few times now, and every visit has been great. The shop is in a convenient shopping center with plenty of parking, which is always a plus. It's a small, cozy spot with a really cute setup. Each time I've gone, it's been the same person working, and he's always incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference. I've tried a few different coffee drinks, and every single one has been delicious although the Mazapan Latte is my absolute favorite! Definitely a must try. The combination of great service and consistently amazing coffee is exactly why I keep coming back. Definitely worth checking out and making the drive since I'm in Carlsbad.

I like this boba shop because they have a lot of space to comfortably sit and chat with friends. I always get the royal/black milk tea with boba. It's my standard at any bubble tea shop and it's fine. I'm not that picky :). The popcorn chicken is tasty with the spicy powder. I like that the parking is easy, getting my order is almost always super fast, and the staff are almost always friendly. I think it's a good place to hang out after dinner and get a boba tea and dessert or snack. Some things could be better. I would like them to have more outside seating for nice days. The menu isn't very descriptive of the drinks and they need more pictures, but that's a problem for my friends. I always get the same drink :). And it'd be great if they had more desserts. Overall, it's a great boba shop. Easy parking, large space, fast, tasty drinks, boba and chill. I've tried the other 5 or 6 (?!?!) tea shops in the area and this is the one that checks all the boxes for me. read more
