We have been searching for a very long time to find a spot my husband and I both like our milk tea drinks of choice. He enjoys Thai Milk Tea and I enjoy Jasmine Milk Tea. I began to think it was an impossible task....but then we discovered Tea Amo. I kept seeing reviews pop-up in my feed for Tea Amo during covid semi-shut downs over the summer, but we just barely got around to trying. Final and unanimous verdict - AS GOOD AS IT GETS. Being from the Bay area, we just have never been able to get good milk teas here in San Diego, especially in North County so we are thrilled to have discovered Tea Amo. We both enjoyed our drinks so much, we considered going back for more after tennis tonight. Service was friendly and expeditious. I imagine this place can get busy during peak hours but when I came in around 4 today, I was in and out in 5 minutes. We will be back, for sure. read more

I ordered the Summer Breeze tea (substituted boba for the rainbow jelly) and enjoy every sip. The drink was well-balanced for my taste--just enough ice to keep my drink cold for the maybe 2hrs I sipped it, no perfumey taste, just sweet enough w/o making me get the feels, & good boba texture. I wasn't able to really distinguish the fruit flavors of strawberry and peach that make up the drink, but it was a tasty fruity flavor nonetheless. As expected, price was rather steep, but at least it was a yummy sipper. Would def return to order the same drink and/or another beverage if in the area! P.S. The facility is a good size to accommodate groups hanging out, service was friendly, & efficiency was on point (granted, I was the only customer in the shop, but my drink was ready in less than 30 seconds from the time my order was completed)! read more

I just went there for the first time finally after 18mo of living in the area! I took mg kids in for a treat for ice cream and boba milk tea sounded perfect for me on this hot day! Their chocolate ice cream was really good, kids loved it, once cup was the right size for them to share (age 4 and 8.5yrs) and I got their Milky Way boba tea, I'll be back very soon for their Milky Way, so good! Cute little boba tea place. There are at least two other tea places in the same area but my great niece likes this one best. I'm still a ding tea fan but came here to check it out. Lots of fun interesting flavors. The tea is good and the boba is really good. I don't like the "pudding" or jello they use. It was off putting but I know a lot of people like it. Hard to rate because they had ZERO caffeine-free fruit teas. I don't like dairy in my drinks, and I can't drink caffeine anytime after noon or I won't be able to sleep that night, and the only caffeine-free teas that they had included dairy or chai. All the fruit teas looked so good but all included green tea or black tea. A bit disappointing. A friend chose the location and also really enjoyed her caffeinated milk tea, so based on her opinion of her drink, I will give it 3 stars. But I wish I could leave a review without giving any stars. This is an AMAZING study spot!! The inside is clean and has such a cute, warming ambiance that I could feel productive in while doing my work for school. There are many outlets everywhere and there is lots of seating. Their menu has many different options with decent prices. For drinks they do have substitues for milk. The workers here are very nice and helpful. I was attended to quickly and my order came out very quick! The belgian waffles were so good! Soft on the inside with a little bit of crunchiness on the outside, and it came with 2 scoops of ice cream. The horchata macchiato was also amazing! The tea here is pretty good. I haven't tried their different special concoctions yet as I am a creature of habit and I always get the jasmine milk tea with sea salt foam. I love it. It's so yummy! Food wise, I've tried their loaded tots, sweet potato fries and popcorn chicken. All were pretty good. The chicken isn't the best I've had (I've had a lot) but it's decent and helps to satisfy my popcorn chicken cravings. It is quite spicy tho so be careful. Mild goes a long way! read more

Not sure if other people rate this place so high because of the aesthetically pleasing place but other than that I would say that this place is not worth the drive or wait. Went in and was blankly stared at by the barista and the cashier, they seemed mad that me and my brother wouldn't hurry up in choosing a drink. Keep in mind that me and my brother are very considerate of others and we don't like holding up the line, but there was literally no one after us. It was our first time so we wanted to try something different that made this place stand out. Was in the mood for shaved ice and this was the only place open in the area that offered. Came in at 8:37pm (they close at 9pm) and tried to order a bingsoo, but was told it would take 20 minutes to make and since they close at 9pm, they couldn't do it. Mind you - the place was empty with no other customers, so I doubt it would've taken an entire 20 minutes. That being said, we asked if we could order it for there and just eat it really fast before closing and they said they weren't allowed to do that. And then we asked if we could just put it in two boba cups to go, and said we didn't mind it looking ugly, and they were firm about not doing it. There were 2 employees there with no other customers..... it was stupid and it felt like the workers just didn't want to put in the effort to do it. So we left empty handed. If they don't offer it past a certain time, they should at least put that somewhere on the menu. Or how about just don't offer it if your store is supposed to be open until 9pm. It's not like we got there 5 minutes before closing. The bingsoo didn't even look that fancy, just shaved ice, a few strawberry halves, and whipped cream top. Was at Costco business center and decided to try Tea Amo because my husband was in the mood for ice cream. He decided to order a Milky Way which was way too sweet. I ordered s'more waffle. I probably didn't noticed the waffle was a regular waffle not the bubble waffle and I thought the marshmallow would be melted marshmallow. It's hard like old gum. Well 2 strikes and the third strike was...they put it in a to go box! I guess either that's how they sell their products or they just wanted to get us out. Not like they were busy. I'm disappointed! Good drinks but the service could use some work. The menu clearly states the blended drinks only come in large and cost $4.50. I just how much it would be if to make a regular size for my 4 year old son since he doesn't finish sometimes. She didn't answer my question charged me the $4.50 but made a regular size drink. Doesn't make any sense to be charged the same amount for a smaller drink! So I asked if I could get a large size since I paid for the large, she said it would be $0.75 more. Wtf!?
