This place has greatly improved since I last visited 9 years ago. Their menu selections are plentiful and diverse with lots of toppings to choose from. They also have automated touch screen order screens for minimal interaction and opportunity for you to customize your choices. I'm greatly impressed by the improvement and I'm also glad there's a boba tea place in the area. Tea Annie now has it all!

I was having lunch with some coworkers, and afterward, I stumbled upon this place. Nice simple boba milk tea shop. Simple decor. Though, no ac on a warm 87° day. They had a fan running. But still warm inside. The store is still in covid mode - no tables, chairs, or restrooms available for customers. Anyway, I ordered the Honey Roasted Oolong Milk Tea (with boba) 50% sweet. The drink was nice and flavorful. The boba was soft but firm and chewy.

Walking around and was feeling a bit sleepy. I was actually headed toward a Starbucks nearby but stumbled upon Tea Annie. Milk tea sounded more appealing so came for a visit. I got my usual - Earl Grey Milk Tea. I was asked if I wanted toppings (no thanks) and sugar level (50% please) but not promoted about ice level. I asked for no ice and the staff informed me they charge 50¢ for no ice. I had to ask him to repeat to make sure I heard correctly. Yup. I would have to pay more to have them not add something. I suppose I was looking a bit dumbfounded because he then gave me a tip that getting "less ice" would not incur a charge. Less ice it is! The tea itself was good. I get the flavor of the Earl Grey and the 50% sweetness was nice. I might go down even a bit more next time.

Got a buckwheat green tea with boba and okinawa matcha with salted crema and both were good. The boba was nice and soft for the buckwheat tea. The salted crema was a little more salty than I would have liked. But overall, everything was good and would like to come back soon!

Excellent Taiwanese owner tea shop with some pretty delicious snacks. Usually crepes have a very soft texture to them. In this case, true to the Taiwanese version the crepes have a crunchy texture, packed with delicious items. The strawberry and chocolate one is solid with a giant portion. Teas are quite good as well, with the classic boba being my favorite. Seating indoors are limited but good. They also sell some traditional Taiwanese baked goods. Definitely try this low key spot out!

Ordered a grapefruit slushie and this place instantly went on my top boba shop list. I had ZERO expectations for this place, and usually when I order a slushie, it's mostly ice chunks with syrup flavor or just juice. Tea Annie did an amazing job blending the ice and the grapefruit; it was almost like the same soft, smooth, blended texture of a Korean shaved ice (made well)! I was so pleasantly surprised from the first sip that drinking the grapefruit slushie literally made me happy! Ratio of ice to grapefruit is amazing--flavor and texture were consistent from first to last sip (even after melting a little!) So impressed by this grapefruit slushie. -- Friend ordered Okinawa Milk Tea which has a roasted flavor as well as a milky, sugar favor. He recommends.

A nice friendly place, tuck away in the busy shopping center. The worker/owner was nice and knowledgeable. I tried a coffee boba and it was good. The boba part was not though, overly chewy, putting a damper on my experience .

Food good but ants on wall. Also pretty long wait for the only us. Being in the shop.

Ordered a Taro Milk Tea and I asked for boba and when it came out it had no boba so disappointing. All the other times we came here they added boba with out asking for it. It is fine every human makes mistakes. Very cool place for cool drinks

Peach Oolong Milk Tea With Lychee Jelly
    Heather R.

Tea Annie rates at a solid 3.5 stars for me. Tea Annie is located in a large shopping center with plenty of parking. There's a large selection of drinks to chose from and some unique tea choices. They have a card reader set up at a table at the door as other yelpers have mentioned. I ordered a peach oolong milk tea at 25% sweet with mango hearts. They were out of mango hearts so I got lychee jelly instead. The tea flavor was good and the drink was refreshing. They were skimpy with the ice so I plan to ask for extra ice next time. Overall, Tea Annie is a good boba shop and I wouldn't hesitate to go here if you're in the neighborhood.

Worst Thai tea in all of Bay Area. Water and sugar with no milk or flavor. Horrible. I will never be back.

Of their drinks on the menu, white champaca, white champaca oolong, dancong, white champaca matcha are the top drinks I cycle through. Although they recommend 70%, I actually prefer 30% sweetness, less ice. Truly brings out the tea flavor. This location had a new drink Camellia during the LNY. However, I have not seen it on the menu since March. Hopefully they'll bring it back. They now have order online via their website (chowbus), and I recently learned that they have an app. This makes ordering drinks at this location easy since it is located in corner strip mall with minimal parking.

It tasted nice, but definitely had the artificial grape candy flavor, although mild. It is usually pretty packed and busy here and rare to find parking right in front of the store. It's definitely known more for and there's a hype around the merchandise, the drinks are good quality ingredients, but taste OK and a bit pricey as well.

Just go with it, because every aspect of this matcha cafe, from menu to service to product to flavors to interior design to collaboration, is a delight. Get thee ready for matcha madness. I'm no matcha maven or obsessor, I just know what I enjoy. And I enjoyed the heck out of Junbi's soft serve. Generous tall cup with lychee topping (bottoming) and a dusting of hoji Cha. I got straight matcha flavour because, what are you even doing at a matcha store if you ain't having any. Vanilla matcha swirl or vanilla soft serve is order-able too. It bee like, smoothest nicest green tea ice cream ever. My friend with a sophisticated wide-ranging palate agreed. Pronounced pleasant matcha taste. The micro-diced lychee and roasted tea dust enhanced all of its core deliciousness. Junbi makes Affo Gato (soft serve with a shot of espresso or matcha) as well as sundaes with names like Guava Gauntlet and Mango Mission that contain fruit purée and toppings (e.g. aloe, chia seeds, cacao nibs, almond jelly, coconut chips).
