7-24-24. Honey Roasted Oolong Milk Tea
Lloyd C.

I was having lunch with some coworkers, and afterward, I stumbled upon this place. Nice simple boba milk tea shop. Simple decor. Though, no ac on a warm 87° day. They had a fan running. But still warm inside. The store is still in covid mode - no tables, chairs, or restrooms available for customers. Anyway, I ordered the Honey Roasted Oolong Milk Tea (with boba) 50% sweet. The drink was nice and flavorful. The boba was soft but firm and chewy.

Got a buckwheat green tea with boba and okinawa matcha with salted crema and both were good. The boba was nice and soft for the buckwheat tea. The salted crema was a little more salty than I would have liked. But overall, everything was good and would like to come back soon!

Walking around and was feeling a bit sleepy. I was actually headed toward a Starbucks nearby but stumbled upon Tea Annie. Milk tea sounded more appealing so came for a visit. I got my usual - Earl Grey Milk Tea. I was asked if I wanted toppings (no thanks) and sugar level (50% please) but not promoted about ice level. I asked for no ice and the staff informed me they charge 50¢ for no ice. I had to ask him to repeat to make sure I heard correctly. Yup. I would have to pay more to have them not add something. I suppose I was looking a bit dumbfounded because he then gave me a tip that getting "less ice" would not incur a charge. Less ice it is! The tea itself was good. I get the flavor of the Earl Grey and the 50% sweetness was nice. I might go down even a bit more next time.

Excellent Taiwanese owner tea shop with some pretty delicious snacks. Usually crepes have a very soft texture to them. In this case, true to the Taiwanese version the crepes have a crunchy texture, packed with delicious items. The strawberry and chocolate one is solid with a giant portion. Teas are quite good as well, with the classic boba being my favorite. Seating indoors are limited but good. They also sell some traditional Taiwanese baked goods. Definitely try this low key spot out!

A nice friendly place, tuck away in the busy shopping center. The worker/owner was nice and knowledgeable. I tried a coffee boba and it was good. The boba part was not though, overly chewy, putting a damper on my experience .

Food good but ants on wall. Also pretty long wait for the only us. Being in the shop.

Ordered a grapefruit slushie and this place instantly went on my top boba shop list. I had ZERO expectations for this place, and usually when I order a slushie, it's mostly ice chunks with syrup flavor or just juice. Tea Annie did an amazing job blending the ice and the grapefruit; it was almost like the same soft, smooth, blended texture of a Korean shaved ice (made well)! I was so pleasantly surprised from the first sip that drinking the grapefruit slushie literally made me happy! Ratio of ice to grapefruit is amazing--flavor and texture were consistent from first to last sip (even after melting a little!) So impressed by this grapefruit slushie. -- Friend ordered Okinawa Milk Tea which has a roasted flavor as well as a milky, sugar favor. He recommends.

Ordered a Taro Milk Tea and I asked for boba and when it came out it had no boba so disappointing. All the other times we came here they added boba with out asking for it. It is fine every human makes mistakes. Very cool place for cool drinks

Drink and the crepe are very authentic! Brings me back to Taiwan. :) The boba are sweet and soft.

Peach Oolong Milk Tea With Lychee Jelly

Tea Annie rates at a solid 3.5 stars for me. Tea Annie is located in a large shopping center with plenty of parking. There's a large selection of drinks to chose from and some unique tea choices. They have a card reader set up at a table at the door as other yelpers have mentioned. I ordered a peach oolong milk tea at 25% sweet with mango hearts. They were out of mango hearts so I got lychee jelly instead. The tea flavor was good and the drink was refreshing. They were skimpy with the ice so I plan to ask for extra ice next time. Overall, Tea Annie is a good boba shop and I wouldn't hesitate to go here if you're in the neighborhood.

Sadly appears to be permanently closed. :( Signs are gone and windows are taped up. We enjoyed them for years!

Worst Thai tea in all of Bay Area. Water and sugar with no milk or flavor. Horrible. I will never be back.

We love the Domingo Mimosa Sour beer they carry (it's not available a lot of times) -- it used to be a repeat buy for us, every single visit! They have great vegetarian options -- the barley soup and the mushroom caramelized onion pizza are so good. We're always a fan of their vegan chocolate cake, and the croissants are good too. There's also a wide variety of cheeses, which I really like (some days you can try those as well before buying). Their desserts are consistently good -- I once picked up assorted tarts and they were delicious, our friends liked it too! The garlic ricotta pizza slice looked pretty appetizing, but it was a bit too salty for my taste (I do not eat less salt in general). It's definitely not your regular grocery store -- everything is high quality, thoughtfully stocked, and yes, a bit on the pricier side, but most times we can tell the difference. The ambiance and cleanliness are always top-notch -- it is Whole Foods, after all. The staff is efficient and always available, at the Amazon returns section. Parking is usually easy with plenty of spots in the basement, unless you're lucky enough to grab one right outside at ground level.

Their menu is quite a selection of breakfast and lunch items, I saw that they have mimosas, which would be a plus for brunch another time. I like the trendy and warm decor, which feels like a community space. The visibility into the kitchen is also a nice touch. Service was friendly and efficient. My order came out quickly, just in time for my meeting. Delicious food. I even recommended other team members to check it out, as this place is close by to our office.

Got the Mole Chilaquiles with eggs Crab cake Benedict, French Toast and Tres Leches pancakes…read more The Mole Chilaquiles came with the usual fried tortilla chips, refried beans, cheese crumbles but generously covered with sweet mole sauce (chocolate and spices). Sooo gooood! It also had chicken but chicken was dry. I added over medium eggs (for extra charge) and this was a better protein pairing for this dish. The Crab Benedict was a crab patty and a had a slightly spicy sauce instead of usual Benedict hollandaise sauce. Good but not as special as the Mole Chilaquiles. Also came with potatoes which were pretty good and nicely seasoned. French Toast was good. They serve it with cinnamon butter and syrup. The Tres Leches pancake were good, too. Stack of 3 pancakes sitting in a generous pool of milk sauce with strawberry slices and whipped cream on top. Not much to note about the actual pancakes but they were soft. Lemonade is refillable for $5. Reasonable pricing. Food took about 15 min to come out. Very limited parking spaces. Be sure not to park in spaces with numbers as they are not for the restaurant.
