Came here to get a hot tea. I order the matcha milk tea. The lady who took my order was nice and got my tea ready fast. The tea was room temperature not hot. I was a little disappointed because I was freezing in January and needed a hot drink to warm me up. The tea was good but next time I will ask if it could be hotter. read more

First trying this since being added/connected to Lucky Corner. Spacious and very well decorated with many activities to do after a big bowl of pho or while drinking your special concoction of a tea. I tried the tropical twister and it was very sweet with a strong hit of jasmine at the end. If you like your drinks fruity and sweet i'd definitely recommend this. I've been here a few times and have always had a good experience! The workers are so friendly, great at giving recommendations, and provide me with samples of different boba to try. The drinks are always great. I hope they get a recipe for a sweet, semi-creamy, honeydew boba tea! They only have a black or green honeydew tea. The green honeydew tea is pretty good as well. I was surprised to see Onigiri (rice balls) on the menu! And they have so many flavors/meat options! I tend to always get the Kani Onigiri. I loved it so much, it made me feel like I was in Japan again. I know you are supposed to unwrap the seaweed part, but sometimes I just bite right into the rice and it's so tasty! And they always give you spicy mayo to dip it in too. The place itself has a cool anime aesthetic with anime figures lining the area along with a manga-inspired background. LOVE! I've come here a few times now, and every single time, my drink has been perfect. I have got the Taro smoothie twice now, and it's been perfectly sweet and creamy, with nice bubble texture. DELISH! My husband has tried the Tiger milk tea which he and I both enjoyed. My kinds both tried the strawberry smoothie and loved it. Aside from the drinks, the service is great. Each time I've been here, someone always greets you as soon as you come in. The staff just seems to have a good, positive attitude which adds to the experience. Last but certainly not least is the ambience. It's a vibe! I love the art on the walls and the games available to play. TEADO is such a great addition to Frederick. The entire atmosphere and vibe of this location is exceptional!! I love the decor, it makes me feel like I'm walking into my own room! Yes! I love anime and Teas (haha) and also the delicious smell of Lucky Corner Foods next door! The staffs all seem very joyful! This is a chain and i guess maybe owned by the same folks that own Lucky Corner since there is an interior door that leads to the restaurant. There is no separate restroom for this little boba shop you use the one in Lucky Corner. We got normal drinks for me and the spouse -- iced green tea light ice, little to no sugar with some fruit in this case both of us decided on the passion fruit one. The passion fruit jasmine tea drink didnt come with boba but wiht mango jelly which is fine for me but typically the boy decides he wants to sub out bubbles but this time he decided to just do jelly. I decided i was hungry enough to do an onigiri. I dont know if this was me or if they folded the wrap wrong but i had quite the time trying to take the wrapper off which i typically do not have issues. The onigiri was warm -- granted i asked for the cooked salmon but i assumed it would be room temp flaked salmon so a bit taken aback but it was pretty good. My friend got the viet coffee and said it was good but too much ice -- so planned for less ice next time. read more

The boba was kinda large so it felt really weird in your mouth and the boba were very to chew. I ordered a mango green tea with boba and could hardly taste the mango flavor. It was really bland. The service was quick for my drink since there was no one there but my salmon onigiri came out kinda slow. The onigiri was delicious but I was upset with how bad the boba was. The bubble tea tastes like the boba you would get from a frozen yogurt shop. I was really looking forward to this new boba shop but it was a huge let down. read more
