This place will always have my heart. It was my everyday usual lunch spot for almost a year when I went to clover park tech. My favorite menu items were the seafood noodle and can't forget, the garlic chicken wings. Best chicken wings hands down. The price are lower than other places and still is. Don't let this little strip mall environment stop you from trying this place out. It is a hidden gem! I miss the previous lady who used to work at the register. She's been gone for a minute, but every now and then when I'm reminded of this place, I think of her.

Mmmm crack garlic chicken. 12 pieces for 6.75!!!

Oh Tac-Town, Tacompton, Tac, 253... whatever you want to call yourself... you are so damn ghetto, but why ya'll got such good food?! Lol. In all honesty, yes, this place is located in an indoor "swap meet" type strip mall that looks super run down and ghetto, but to be quite frank, it is funny. Immediately walking into B&I's... I thought to myself, "Damn, this is like Columbia Plaza growin' up, just like in the Soufend." And this is exactly what it is. My friends who brought me here said their garlic chicken is hella bomb. That's when you know you have the best of friends--they bring you to the spot to eat bomb garlic chicken. To my surprise, when I got to Tea House, I literally looked at it like "WTF?! That's it!??" Lol. Hole-in-the-wall was my first reaction. And I laughed as I looked at their small 5 restaurant mall food court options. To my surprise, Tea House was in for the kill--'cause now, I'm hoooked! I order their delicious 12 piece garlic chicken ($6.75) as I am advised. We also order the chicken chow mein. For about $14 that totals, I am satisfied with the cheap price. We walk around and seat ourselves. About 10 minutes later, we are served our delicious food. HOT, FRESH, TASTY... and I almost had an orgasm in my mouth as the scrumptious taste of garlic chicken landed on my lips, caressing my taste buds. Oh how comforting was this piece of chicken, so hot, juicy, crispy, and too damn good to be true! My friend gobbled her share of chicken without stopping. I couldn't resist either. Their chicken chow mein, at first, was different to me. The noodles tasted different... but to be quite frank, I couldn't stop eating either. Very, very flavorful, very good quality and very pleasing. My friend and I killed the lunch box full and I couldn't believe it. I don't typically eat oily food, meat, or any savory foods anymore because of lifestyle changes, but damn, I really couldn't stop eating. The fatty and glutton inside of me was happy because I was so full and so satisfied. I am giving this place a 5 star for their quick service, friendly demeanor, and addicting garlic chicken. Seriously, this place is like a chinese restaurant in a strip mall. Food is made to order so it's guaranteed hella hot and fresh. It has a rep for their garlic chicken because when I was there, there were people who kept ordering the garlic chicken. Even my boo thang, who used to live in Tacoma called and told me to order him some as he knows the famous rep they have for their chicken. My friend also said that everyone knows that when you say "B&I's," that is strongly associated with their chicken. You can't have one without the other. :) I am very pleased, and because of this, Tacoma is impressing me! Lol. Do not fret the ghetto appeal--quit hating, get out of your comfort zone, and don't let your lack of exposure fool you and scare you from trying this delicious place. Just because you feel "unsafe" does not make this place unsafe. Eat the food--you won't regret it. You'll be hooked like me as I now call their garlic chicken the crack chicken of tacoma lol.

The saving grace of the B&I. The diamond in the rough. Their chicken wings are AMAZING. Literally life changing. I've also tried a couple of other things on the menu and it's okay you get what you pay for. But the wings are a different story, they are so good and very cheap! Update: I just tried the spicy beef and it's really good. It's a sweet and spicy flavor.

Looking for good Chinese food in Lakewood? Then you should head to the B&I food court for this great hole in the wall food stall. The ambiance is not too impressive, but the food more than makes up for it. They have a wide array items to choose from for a very cheap price, and are generous with their portions. Now, I had the Sesame Chicken, and Singapore style noodles. Their Sesame Chicken is quite unique compared to other Chinese restaurants, as they use brown sugar instead of white sugar for their sauce. This slight difference gives it a great taste. As for the Singapore style noodles they were just as good. All in all, you cannot go wrong with this place. It may not have the looks or location, but they have a chef that knows how to throw down in the kitchen.

THE BEST CHINESE IN THE TACOMA AREA! Excellent portions, amazing prices, and the flavor is to die for. We've had all sorts of dishes: soups, noodles, rice, and meats...everything is amazing. But we always stick to the garlic chicken wings, green bean beef, and honey walnut shrimp. Get ready for a party and explosion of flavors in your mouth! Enjoy!

I followed my fellow Yelpers advice and recommendations and it lead me to this place Monday night. I was dying for some Chinese food, and I did not feel like driving all the way to Longview. We got to this place and it was smelling delicious, looked clean and the man that waited on us was VERY nice. I decided to try sweet and sour pork for the first time here and it was good, but somehow they gave me sweet and sour chicken instead (the reason for 4 stars). I am a fan of white rice, and this one was tasty and prepared well. I got a 6pc garlic chicken wings to share and the husband got Cashew Chicken and they let him have fried rice for a reasonable up-charge. I will absolutely go back again. Thank you fellow Yelper Andrew Q it was your review of this place that made me decide to go. Great work Yelpers!!

**EVERYTHINGS FRESH & CHEAP** I ordered the Mandarin Chicken which was good but not quite like my favorite Mandarin chicken @ the Pal-Do World food court but for the price you cant beat it! What I really liked here was my friends ALMOND FRIED CHICKEN! TO be honest I thought this dish wouldn't be that great and cringed when he ordered it. However this was like dare I say...a better version of Katsu?? The chicken was breaded and SUPER tender and covered in yummy gravy. My friend also opted for the fried rice which seemed a little dark (heavy on the soy?) but tasty nonetheless. I ate here a long time ago and remember the General's Chicken as well as the Mongolian Beef being fresh and tasty. I still gotta try the FRIED GARLIC CHICKEN WINGS! (I had them as a kid but don't have much memory since I was to busy enjoying the other menu items) Please let me know what else I should order here...I wanna try it all! lol P.S. This place is inside the B&I and consider the place to be apart of the experience and have fun with it....sitting around trying to be greater than thou isn't gonna get you far here

I definitely shouldn't have thought jajangmyeon as my first option but I was also super hungry and it was the cheapest thing on the menu, while I was also thinking it wouldn't take that long. Plus they were open early which was great as we were in the area around 10am! When we arrived, there was a older gentleman who greeted us then looked like he was prepping for the day. He can speak Korean and English just fine too. Once we were ready, we placed an order of jajangmyeon and egg rolls and he brought us out banchan. I did ask for more daikon but he seemed to have forgotten or maybe left as his daughter was there delivering food, tea and taking orders. She was a lot more attentive, she would check in on customers and was very friendly! Also it turns out that my boyfriend's friend who he has known since high school was that female employee, so for those saying the owners have changed, they have not. There is plenty of seating at this food court as well as other options from sushi, Korean food and and this spot that serves Korean-Chinese food. The lighting here is a bit dark but it is light enough to take different photos. It's not too cold nor hot either. You can also leave your plates, utensils and trash on the table and someone will come get it. The jajangmyeon was really good, I was surprised as I feel like there aren't too many places that have good jajangmyeon in Lakewood but I can say it is way better than the other places that serve in the area. I usually don't scoop up the sauce but it was actually really good. They offer kimchi, onion and daikon for their side dishes which I think is perfectly fine. They do offer refills and when I asked for more daikon, the kind female employee even gave me extra vinegar. My boyfriend said the egg roll was pretty good too. We look forward to coming back!

In the past I have tried the Bulgogi, which is good and comes with banchan--but a little pricey. This time around we chose Mongolian Beef and Teriyaki Chicken with Gyoza. The Mongolian Beef was not good. I didn't care for the sauce, the meat was chewy, and the styrofoam noodles were rancid--and there were a lot of them! The actual portion size was pretty small. The salad on the plate with the Teriyaki and Gyoza was big chunk of lettuce with a giant glob of dressing--pretty unappealing. Service was mediocre. There were flies buzzing around as we ate. I think we are the only Americans in here right now. Pretty busy for dinner. Not really sure that we would return, better places in the area. Overall 2.5 rating.

Then, I pointed to my desired dish on the menu and repeated my order. Unfortunately, she messed up my simple order, and I received an unwanted shrimp dish.
